That was spectacular. Tonight, the world was able to join in a magnificent tribute to the athletes and the Olympic spirit. It was an unforgettable and moving ceremony that celebrated the imagination, originality and energy of the Beijing Games.

We saw 204 national delegations march into the beautiful new National Stadium in the age-old tradition of the Games. Millions of people around the world were able to experience the thrill of seeing their heroes in a sea of team colours and national flags.

We witnessed athletes from these 204 countries and territories united in peace in one place. And for the next 16 days, they will be a part of one of the most thrilling competitions in history. As an Olympian, I can tell you that they will carry this memory with them forever.

This iconic stadium is one of the worlds new wonders. It was a fitting setting for an amazing Opening Ceremony, I look forward to an equally exciting and unforgettable 16 days.

while all canadians celebrate the return of the warm weather, there is another meaning to easter. christians because they believe that jesus christ rose from the dead on easter sunday three days after he was crucified(钉十字架上处死) on good friday. to celebrate the of his resurrection(复活), they attend churches filled with candles and white lilies (百合花) on easter sunday. the lilies symbolize (象征) hope and rebirth. a lot of communities (社会) have easter parades (游行), some religious, others with brightly decorated floats(彩车), costumes and hats.

有一次，我家的遥控器坏了，这可让我这个名副其实的电视迷苦恼了好大一阵子。突然我灵机一动。咦对了，修一下呗。这时候我高兴得一蹦三尺高，那时的情绪简直无法用语言形容。所谓车到山前必有路，我才不管三七二十一，拿起遥控器直奔大屋。我把柜子彻底地翻了个底朝天，最后把那“调皮”的螺丝刀找到了，这真是天助我也。我对准十字朝左边拧阿拧，可这钉子似乎不相信我的潜力，偏要跟我作对似的，再怎样就是拧不开，这真是一个“空心箩卜”——中烂不中修。我无可奈何，只好打开电池盒，取下电池，轻轻地往地上一撞，撞掉了一块塑料板，我用镊子去出塑料板，这遥控器还莫名其妙地修好了，我也莫名其妙地成为了修理大师。

我可不是天天都有这么好的运气，有一天还真“邪门”了呢。

这天，我正在专心致志地做练习册，突然间，灯座发出“刺——刺”的声音，随后灯光不见了，我想：这次我厂修好了的话，妈妈他们可真是有眼不识泰山了。我又找出我的好比帮手——螺丝刀，这次拧开了螺丝，但我对这些零件一窍不通，但经过我贼亮的眼睛的一番“调查”，最后发现了破绽——线断了。经过我的深思熟虑，决定将线和主板用胶棒连接在一齐，可它前面的石头碍手碍脚的，我就把它拆了，我说干就干，在主板涂上一层胶棒，粘起来。YES，成功。我把这重新组装，打开电源竟发出绿色的火，下班后妈妈和爸爸把我恶骂了一顿，我可真是哑巴吃黄莲——有苦说不出阿。

我有时候是一个修理大师，你没意见吧

"你送给我的礼物，我很喜欢，我一直把它放在房间最显眼的地方。它，是一道悦耳的风景线，装满了你我两世界的爱。

羡慕她有个会唱歌的盒子，是她外公在她生日时送给她的。她傲慢的像个女王，要听盒子唱歌要排队，要赞扬。也许是天生的性格，"哼"地走开了。

幼儿园放学了，你用那宽大的手掌再一次的抱起我，让我骑到你的肩上，你很胖，坐在你肩上，像坐在沙发上一样舒服。

我和你说，我是多么想要那样一个盒子。你说，你唱歌远比那个盒子好听，一路上，你唱给我听，逗我开怀，伴着夕阳，祖孙俩的影子殷红殷红，笑声撒遍了回家的小路。

你总是会胃痛，但你说，你一听我唱歌，就会好起来，我们拉过勾，我会为你唱一辈子的歌，你会听我一辈子唱歌，谁都不许赖，伴着我天真的笑，两个大小不一的拇指碰到了一起。

那天，雨下得好大，忽然发现没有了你温暖的大手为我捂住耳朵，没有你温暖的身躯让我一头扑进。原来你住进了医院，听外婆说，你要一直住那儿。

我去看你时，你躺在床上，被子是白色的，墙是白色的，你的脸也很是苍白，瘦了许多。

你弱弱的唤我过去，在枕头下慢慢取出一个用报纸包了好多层的盒子，你用那只被针扎过好几次的手一层层地把纸拿开，奇迹般的出现了一个红色八音盒！

你打开盒子，拧动开关，那个金属的丁字就缓缓转动。

“好听吗？”

“嗯！外公了！”

我轻轻地吻你的脸颊，脸上忽然沾了你热乎乎的东西，我不知道是什么，但我不愿看，只是不停地说好听，知道你的病很重，就希望你快好起来。

就在你生日那天，你撒手离去。

以为你是逗我玩，手上捧着八音盒来到你床前。

天空下着大雨，我被一声雷吓到了，“啪”地一声，我摔了一下，那八音盒也摔碎了。慌忙的拾起，因为它的无声和你的不理而嚎啕大哭。

这是你给我的礼物，我就是舍不得丢，却怎么修也修不好……

只得让它静静的呆在柜子里，经常抬头仰望，心里重复地走向那难忘的音调。每次生日，我都会在它肚子里给你一张小纸条，相信，你会收到的吧！

阳光总是会不经意地洒到它身上：红红木质的上方，是块透明的塑料，里面的开关、零件透过塑料看得一清二楚。它的声音也一遍遍地萦绕耳膜。

这道风景，我怎么看也看不够。
