reasons: farmers cut down trees in order to get more fertilize lands to grow

rice or vegetables, and use the woods as fuel. Timber companies cut down trees

and turn them into furniture or paper productions. As to goal miners, they

However, many of us fail to realize that forests are the lungs of the

earth. When we cut down trees, we also push ourselves in to a dangerous

situation. That is the global warming. When you come to think about it, there

are only few ways to solve these negative effects: stop cutting down trees

blindly; try to find some clear energy that can replace oil and coal. But these

solutions can be impractical to some degreed.

Why trees can be so important to the whole nature? First of all, trees are

the habitat of many animals. When we cut down trees, we not only destroy

animals’ habitats but also ourselves. We just gradually destroy natural links.

The result is that many spices of animals and plants are dying out. Secondly,

cutting down trees cause global warming, to some degree. Naturalists compare

forest to human’s lungs. The forests absorb the carbon dioxide and other gas

that cause global warming, and then give off the oxygen that good for the human

beings and other living creatures. It’s refreshed the air as well as reduced the

noise. If the air quality is bad, people may die from cancers, or the new

diseases for which they have no immunity. Forests also play an important role in

the prevention of natural disasters. Warmer temperatures cause water to expand

and also create more water by melting polar ice caps. That’s to say, the nations

which near the ocean may have been flooded by the water. But the forests can

prevent water loss and soil erosion, and cool off the global temperatures. It’s

the key to keep the balance of the nature.

Sometimes people only care about money making; they don’t care about the

price we pay for the pollution. When the disaster is around the corner, we may

be afraid and frustrated. The earth, on which our economies have always been

based, is suddenly threatening our existence. All we hope that is this

overpopulated, over industrialized planet can carry on for a longer time. And

maybe, it’s time for us to realize that we should protect the earth, stop

Ah! Christmas morning! Children like to wake up early while its still dark and sneak into the living room to check the presents----find any with their name on it, shake them to guess whats inside, and then maybe theyll go back to bed and pretend they are still asleep when their parents come to wake them with a "Merry Christmas!"

But almost no one I know gets completely dressed or eats a regular breakfast first thing Christmas morning. They just put on a robe or wear their pajamas and go to see whats under the Christmas tree. Someone will begin to take the presents out from under the tree, see whose name is on the package, and then pass them around. 眼前那片绿荫，在风中飘摇，在雨后挺立，不知经过了多少年，大家只知道，太阳烘烤着大地时，是那片绿荫给人清凉;当倾盆大雨从天而降时，是那片绿荫为人们遮风挡雨。那片绿荫总是默默地挺立，默默地奉献。

Why this? Besides these, there are a lot of human activities which have done or are doing harm to our surroundings.

For this, I think, first, our government should make drastic measures to regulate human activities; second, we human beings should take pains-taking work to stop ourselves destroying the environment and try our best to protect our living space more.

Yesterday, my mother clean the house, she did the big cleaning, so she searched every corner of the house, many old things were dig out, like the toys when I owned at the very early age. But there was one thing surprised me most, it is my photo album, my mother was happy to find it, she opened it to me, I saw myself in different stages. The photo album recorded me since I was born, I saw the wonderful moment my parents wrote, like the date I first talked, my parents took the picture of the moment. 学校、老师对于在学校中度过了七年生活的我们来说真是个最熟悉不过的词语。我们在学校的灿烂阳光中成长，又在老师的关怀帮助下增高。学校与老师对我们提出了许多的要求，我们也在心底对学校与老师有了一个衡量的标准。近些年来反映校园生活的中外影视剧层出不穷，其中不乏有一些相当优秀而有教育意义的作品。它们从校园概貌写到学生的心理，让我们看见了心目中的学校，心目中的老师。

在我的心目中，学校应该如一个世外桃源，远离城市的喧嚣，为学生们营造出一种和谐的读书气氛。教学设施一定要非常完备，应把基础教育与欧美开放的教育方式相结合，多多采用电脑授课。学校也应在每周开展一节社会实践课，让我们认识社会，熟悉社会，走进社会。为了了解学生的思想情况，学校应该多搞一些不记名的调查活动，并与政治课结合，全方位的对学生进行思想教育。学校可以利用这种方式，让我们定期填写一些问卷调查，了解国内外历史与新闻。这样，学校才能深化素质教育，但同学们最敏感的考试问题，学校也应全面革新，对学生的创造力考试应大于或等于基础的测验，使学生能够成为一个全面发展的人才，而不是一个两耳不闻窗外事，一心只读圣贤书的呆子。

许多同学认为老师不能留太多的作业，不能对我们使用“暴力”，不能照本宣科，但我在这里要讲一位我最欣赏的老师，那就是电视剧《校园先锋》中的南方老师。她美丽、正直、大方、热情，教学方法也独具特色，很能就事论事，不推脱责任弄虚作假，强调学生重要的是品质，品质高尚、思想健康的学生才能成就大事业。它能理解学生们对学校、社会中坏现象的看法，赞成他们与坏现象作斗争，勇敢承担后果，不怕跌倒与失败。在生活中她仿佛是同学的父母，遇事她能正确地引导学生，她敢说敢做，在各方面都能成为学生的表率，我喜欢这样的老师。

这就是我们心目中的学校，这就是我心目中的老师，但是我想，在不久的将来，我们的学校定会比我设想的更加美好，我们的老师也会更加完美，学校这个使我们面向未来的窗口，定会以一种新的姿态展现在我们的面前，让我们期盼着这一天的到来吧!
