The Great Wall of China

The Great Wall of China is called the "Ten thousand Ii Great Wall" in Chinese. In fact, it s more than 6 000 kilometres long. It winds its way from west to east, across deserts, over mountains, through valleys till at last it reaches the sea. It is one of the wonders of the world.

The Great Wall has a history of over twenty centuries. The first part of it was built during the Spring and Autumn Period. 我叫刘婷玲，今年13岁了，我身高1.55米。弯弯的眉毛，鼻子端正，唇似绽桃，笑的时候总露出光洁闪亮的牙齿。

我有一个缺点，就是胆小。记得有一次上课，老师提问，我明明会回答，可是不敢举手发言，老师突然叫我的名字，我当时很紧张慢慢的站起来，我不像别人那绘声绘色的回答，而是用语无伦次像蚂蚁那么小的声音回答，吞吞吐吐，在老师的鼓励下，我终于说完了，老师对我说：“回答的很好，如果声音再大一点，那会更好的。”老师说完，着下子我才不紧张些。瞧我那胆小的样子。

随着年龄的增长，胆小的缺点慢慢的改了，我开始喜欢水粉画了。每当双休日我都会拿起笔画画，我多么希望自己能够当上一名伟大的艺术家。对了，我还有一个优点，就是喜欢看书。如果我闲着没事做，我都会拿起一本书，坐在沙发上看书。天长日久，日积月累，我现在学习越来越好了。
