他在大学的表现并不好，再加上人很内向，学校安排他去一个偏僻的农村教书。

发到通知的那天，他垂头丧气，然而他惊喜地发现：那所高中正是他的母校，那里正是他的家乡！

他努力地工作着，第二年就成为学校里唯一的高级教师。其实当上校长对他并不是什么难事，因为这所学校的老校长不过高中毕业，再加上年事已高，退休是迟早的事。

老校长退休了，他理所当然地成为了校长。然而他并没有因此而得意。他在受任仪式上对全校师生说：我们学校要在十年内，成为重点学校！

当时有很多人觉得他的想法异想天开、无理取闹，然而事实证明他做到了。

他打破常规创了在当时很不可思议的寄宿制学校，把当时大学教室运用到高中：学生没有固定的班级教室，上什么课就到哪一间教室去上，这种理念很快吸引了一家教育机构的眼光。他们赞助这所学校，于是更高的工资吸引了更多好老师来这里教书。八年后，这所学校就成为重点中学。

现在他在这所学校已经工作了三十多年，有人曾经问他是什么让他坚持自己的信念，走到今天。他说，是梦想，梦想推动他前行。

在学校我有一个朋友。她是个女孩，她叫王旭，她1 3岁。我也13岁。我们在同一个班。她英语比我学得好，因此她经常帮我学英语。我也帮助她学习。
