The Festival of the Dead is one of the most important happenings in both Palermo and the rest of Sicily. The second of November is a festival day for the children of Palermo as, according to tradition,they were made to believe that their dead relatives would return the night before and leave them traditional sweets and cakes on the table (Martorana fruit, which is almond paste made into the shape of different fruit)。 They would also receive puppets of boiled sugar and toys. “心有多大，舞台就有多大”这是中央电视台的广告语，也是爷爷常常用来鼓励我的话。是的，只要你敢想，只要你能坚持，你就能在你的人生舞台上舞出属于你自己的最美的舞姿。

我是一个活泼开朗的女生，从小就特别喜欢篮球。我的梦想就是成为一名体育记者，能够为观众们送上最及时最新鲜的体育资讯。有一次，开同学会，大家都热情高涨地讨论着各自的理想。当别人为我的理想是什么的时候，我自豪的说：“我要成为一名出色的体育记者，让你们在体育频道里能看到我的身影，到时你们就都是我的观众。”就在沉浸在对未来美好的憧憬时，一个女生不屑地说：“就你那样还想当体育记者，身材那么矮小，英语又那么烂，你拿什么去跟别人竞争啊?我看你趁早放弃吧。”听到她的话，我特别伤心，跑回了家。

回到家里，我关上门自己一个人拼命地哭。爷爷跑过来问我发生什么事了，我一边哭一边把事情的经过告诉给爷爷。爷爷听完后，摸着我的头大声笑着说：“傻孙女，你就这么快被打败了啊?你不是说不管怎样一定要当一名体育记者吗?你还记得中央电视台的那句广告语吗?”“心有多大，舞台就有多大。”“傻孙女，只要你坚持和努力，你一定可以实现你的梦想的。”“可是爷爷我的身材那么矮小，英语又那么烂啊。”我伤心地说。爷爷说：“傻丫头，身材矮小，你可以比别人更灵活啊，英语烂，你可以好好补回来啊。当初很多人都说邓亚萍矮，不适合打乒乓球，可是邓亚萍不也是通过自己的努力成为世界冠军吗?”

听完了爷爷的话，我豁然开朗。是啊!只要我的敢想，只要我能坚持和努力，我一定可以成功的!从那以后，我不再理会别人怎么看我，我只是努力地为自己的目标奋斗着，为此努力地拼搏着。

“心有多大，舞台就有多大。”不管未来有多少困难挫折，我都会倔强地坚守自己的梦想。就像52岁的浙江菜贩范国梁，就像在北大清华的许多旁听生一样，不管未来有多渺茫，他们都一样倔强地坚守着自己的梦想。

Tina is a lovely girl. She has a lot of dolls. One of these dolls is very beautiful. She has long blond hair and wears a white dress. The little girl likes her very much. She called her “Sandy”. You would forget all the sad things and become happy when you see her.

漂亮的洋娃娃

缇娜是一个可爱的女孩， 她有许多洋娃娃。其中有个是很没得：她有着金色的长发，穿着一件白色的连衣裙。小女孩非常喜欢它，因此， 小女孩叫她“桑迪”。当你看到它的时候就会高兴，会忘记所有不开心的事。

缇娜试着教桑迪说话，可她失败了。 当缇娜空闲时，她时常会桑迪缝衣服。当她遇到不快乐的事或碰倒困难的时候，缇娜中哦你对它倾述，因为他们是亲密的朋友。多么可爱的一个女孩啊!

我喜欢蔚蓝色的天空，总梦想着有一天我能驾驶着飞机，在她的怀抱里尽情地翱翔。今天的实践基地的航模制作课，再次点燃了我的梦想。 I like the blue sky, always dreaming that one day I can drive the plane and soar in her arms.The model production class of todays practical base ignited my dream again.

上课了，教室的桌子上摆放着机身、侧翼、尾翼、胶水，砂纸和连接板。指导老师是一位男老师，他高大、英俊，一脸的严肃。在他的指导下，我们开始了制作。

“看，桌上的配件都是木板的，木板的角都是尖尖的，”老师用他那双炯炯有神的眼睛扫视了一下全班接着说，“请你们拿起桌上的砂纸把它磨圆润。”我们拿起砂纸，只听到一片“沙沙沙”的声音。磨好以后，同学们陆续坐直了身子，安静地等待着。

“用胶水把两个侧翼粘上机身，再组装飞机的垂直尾翼和水平尾翼。”老师边说边示范，“要粘牢了，连接到位了!”我认真地听着，小心地组装着，生怕出现一丁点儿差错。

我做得既快又好，由于凝固时间比别人长，我的飞机比他们的都要牢固，它就像一只展翅的小鸟，正在准备飞翔。这时，老师走过我的身旁，竖起大拇指说：“这架飞机做得真棒，待会儿它一定飞得最高!”我听了又是高兴又是害羞，脸上红扑扑的。

试飞了，我将飞机拿得稳稳的，一阵风吹来，我看准时机，猛地一掷。啊，我的小飞机乘着风，载着我的梦飞得又高又远，飞到了所有小飞机的上面。老师用赞许的目光看着我，同学用羡慕的眼神瞧着我，我的心里就像吃了蜜糖一样甜。

我抬起头深情地凝望着我的小飞机，默默地想：我的小飞机，有朝一日，你一定会变成一架真正的大飞机，到那时，我将和你一起飞到白云上去!

When I was alittle child， I had many dreams。 I wanted to be rich， so that I can live in abig and beautiful house。 I can go everywhere by car。 But now， my dream seems tobe better and more realistic。 I hope I can have a good job。 It will not takemuch of my time， although I can’t earn much。 Every year， I have holidays totravel。 Traveling is my favorite and it can reduce my pressure。 It’s good formy life。 Therefore， I hope traveling can be a part of my future life。

I used to pouring away the water directly after I using it. Someday, my

mother asked me to help her wash the clothes, as I was about to pour away the

water, my mother stopped me and she told me that most water can be recycled. It

can be used to water the flower or to wash other things. From then on, I realize

how to save water.

我过去常常在用完水后直接倒掉水。有一天，妈妈叫我帮助她洗衣服，就在我要去倒掉水的时候，妈妈阻止了我，她告诉我说大部分水可以循环利用。那么水可以用来浇花或者洗别的东西。从那时候起，我就意识到如何节约用水。
