大家好!站在这里讲话，我的心情和大家一样激动，因为24年前我也和大家一样，带着小板凳，坐在这个小操场上参加毕业庆典，所以我特别能理解大家的心情。

参加毕业典礼，即将迎来人生新的征程，你们一定有一点点紧张、一点点迷茫，但更多的是激动和兴奋，是对未来美好生活的憧憬。在这个时刻，我能跟大家讲点什么呢?昨天我想了一晚上，也没怎么睡好觉。我在想，我比大家年长24岁，早24届，作为学长，面对这么多学弟学妹即将开始人生征程的关键时刻，我能讲点什么呢?说实话，千言万语，真的不知道应该从哪讲起，而且讲太多是不是真的对大家有帮助，这是我昨晚觉得压力巨大的地方。我后来想，我和大家只讲两点。

don’t try your best.

We often hear people say, “Never give up.” A person who believes in these

words will keep trying to pursue his goal no matter how many times he fails. In

my opinion, the quality of determination to succeed is an important one to have.

Therefore, I believe that we should never give up.

这是一场由自然灾难造成的难以躲避的悲剧，令人悲痛。而这样的悲剧，事实上与人类漫长的历史相伴，如影随形。远的不说，1976年的唐山大地震，尽管已经过去32年，但至今依然令人心有余悸。1998年的特大洪涝灾害、2003年的“非典”危机、2004年底的印度洋海啸，以及最近发生在缅甸的热带风暴，都造成了大量的人员伤亡和财产损失。人类对于自然灾难并不陌生，但是，当汶川大地震现实地摆在眼前的时候，人类在自然威力前的脆弱，显露无遗。

汶川大地震，给灾区的民众造成了巨大的身心痛苦，也使得地图上那样一个狭小的区域，成为全国人民最为牵挂的地方。所谓人命关天，在部分同胞受难之时，举国的悲恸充分表现了出来。国际社会也迅速表达了关切与慰问。

当一场大地震已经发生，而且余震不断，此时的关键词其实只剩下两个字，即“救”与“援”。某种意义上，“援”也是“救”的组成部分。毫无疑问，救灾已成为当前中国政府与民众最为重要的任务。

救灾救什么?这似乎是一个无须思考的问题。但事实上，救灾的真义必须得到厘清。救灾的第一要务，当为拯救生命。与生命相比，财产的损失与灾后的重建等都已经相对次要，或者说，包括抢救财产以及对于地震中出现问题的反思等，都应该退到“拯救生命”这一极端重要的议题之后。

在地震灾害现场指挥抢救的温家宝总理说过一句话，“只要有双手，家园就能重建”——这句话真切地诠释出了救灾的真义所在。换言之，这也是中国政府将救人作为首要任务的理念之源。正因为生命只有一次，无法以其他之物替代，故救灾者必须以最快的速度，以最大的努力，甚至不惜采取任何手段，“不惜任何代价”，拯救灾区民众的生命。

这意味着，以政府为主导的救援体系须将重心落在对生命的挽救上。随着时间的推移，伤亡数字也将会不断增加。数万人的生命安危，其实就是最严厉的灾情命令。只要有一线的希望，救援者就必须以百倍的努力，从废墟中寻找可能的生还者，从正在倒塌的建筑物中抢救出每一个生命。

应该看到，救灾不仅依赖信心、勇气与团结的精神，也依赖专业的救援队伍与技术配置。尽管人人都可为救灾尽力，但在一定条件下，救灾又是一个技术活，专业性强、风险度高、劳动量大。不能不提到，中国军人又一次发挥了“钢铁长城”的作用，在艰苦的救灾条件下，作战在灾区的精锐部队充分体现出了威武之师的雄风。年轻的中国军人在灾区救援的情景，确实令人深切地感到了血浓于水的鱼水深情。

将拯救生命视为压倒一切的首要任务，也意味着，救援者必须争分夺秒，与死神赛跑。那些废墟里奄奄一息的生命，正在急切地等待救助。“时间就是生命”的含义，在此时也得到了最真切地体现。救援者早一秒进入受灾地区，就能早抢救出一个生命。在震中地区交通不便甚至中断的情况下，温家宝总理要求救援队伍“就是步行也要尽快进入受灾最严重的地区”，突出强调了地震救援之时间概念的重要性。

还应该看到，地震救灾不仅仅是政府之事。如同面对以往任何一场重大自然灾害一样，在政府之力之外，拯救生命的行动，还依赖于民众与非政府机构众志成城。包括给予灾区人民的精神激励、物质的支持，以及包括积极献血等切实的行动等，均会对救援行动产生积极效果。汶川大地震发生之后，不少企业与个人，已开始紧急捐赠财物，运往最需要的地方。非灾区民众发出的祝福与鼓励，已让人充分感受到了温暖而坚定的民族力量。

天灾无情人有情。在一场拯救生命的全民战斗中，胜利终将属于历经灾难考验的中华民族。

因为梦，我们的世界更加的多彩和美好。正是梦的存在才使我们拥有倍加前进的勇气和必胜的信心，为此，我们不辞劳苦，自始至终的向着梦的彼岸前进。

作为当代的一名大学生，我们的青春，背负着一种责任，一种寄托，一种祖国对我们的期待。青春不是抱怨年华流逝而感慨万千，也不是趁着年轻而虚度光阴，我们还有很多事要为之奋斗。为此，我们应该努力的去做一个积极进取的中国青年，勤奋努力，奋勇拼搏，去实现属于自己的中国梦。无愧于社会，无愧于人民，以自己的实际行动，为美丽可爱的祖国贡献自己的一份力量。

可如今一提起梦，我们现在的中国人首先想到的是荒诞不经，如果说到要为之努力，周边的人除了会给予更多的白眼和不屑外，就不会再看第二眼了，至于梦中的机会和可能就永远地被淹没了。在我们的视野中梦只是孩童的天真和痴人的乱语，我们生活在聪明人的现实世界，我们要发展，我们要理性、我们要挣钱，我们要……我们究竟要什么，生活必须这样过吗?每当深夜来临的时候，当我们蘸着唾沫津津有味地数着红红的革命成果的时候，我们的心在哪里?当我们为了生存四处奔波，当我们为了金钱付出一切的时候，我们得到了什么，而又失去了什么呢?难道我们的欲望只有更多的钱才能满足?我们得到了钱，却失去了梦。“我有一个梦想”,这是马丁·路德金的着名演讲，描绘了他心目中的美国梦——一个没有歧视和偏见、追求公平和正义的梦想。正是有了这样的追求、这样的坚持，才成就了今日美国的强盛。

当我们现在醉心于美国的文明和富有的时候，是否曾经想过我们也曾经有过那样的辉煌，当我们现在耳边到处充斥美国梦的时候，可曾想过中国梦的存在。有人会问中国梦存在吗?我说美国梦一开始就存在吗，人清醒地时候是很难做梦的，时时刻刻只考虑现实性和可能性那还叫梦吗?

美国梦成就了今日美国，那么未来中国就更需要中国梦来成就她将来的辉煌。我们的中国梦需要我们敢想敢梦的勇气，需要我们克服现实的障碍，需要我们努力实现梦想的信心。跳出既有思维和生活的范式，走出现实的压抑，在生活中去寻觅真善美的踪迹，在生活中重造梦中的美好。

为青春，我们不怕失败，努力往前飞。因为青春，我们有用不完的精力，去迎接生命的巅峰。

梦想伟大了平凡的人生，成全生命的奇迹。我的家人有很多是英文教师、教授，所以我接触英文的机会远远多出于一般人;正是因为如此，我的英文成绩十分出色，令我和家人信心十足，我便以当英语系教授为梦想，踏上充满未知的筑梦之路。不过，才刚开始奋斗，我就被单字量不足的致命缺点绊倒，我便决定放弃这个遥不可及的梦想;我像无头苍蝇般，跌跌撞撞，无法设定一个努力目标。

自从我放弃后，我始终找不到另一个适合的目标，生活也更加颓废。追求梦想就应不怕挫折的压迫，我再度找回被我遗忘已久的斗志，卷土重来，再度筑梦!在父母的支持下，我把一些书即拿来翻阅，并且勇于发问，竭力吸取知识，我赫然发现，筑梦的过程使生活踏实，拉进和梦想的距离。从此之后，我每天与英文相处，忽略了压力、恐惧，使自己的英文成绩、实力更加突出，更杰出，增加了我实现的决心，朝着梦中的地方，前进!

梦想只要能持久，就能成为现实。我遗忘别人的嘲笑、挫折的打击，谨记着自己的理想，我执着，也善于挑战自我，汲汲于追求更的目标，因为挑战给了我动力、方向，增加了梦想的价值，让平凡的人生渲染上浪漫缤纷的色彩。我相信，总有一天，梦想能成为现实。

今天我看了新春第一课，节目中讲述了XX年坚持每月汇款的“高振宁”一家人，为贫困的山里孩子助学的“英子姐姐”刘发英、把别人认为破烂的东西都好好的收藏起来的袁裕校，来自无声世界，身残志坚的“千手观音”邰丽华的感人事迹。

其中，我最喜欢的是“高振宁”一家，用一家三口的名字化名为“高振宁”给艰苦办班的远安特教班捐钱。这些钱都是爷爷每一天踩着三轮车叫卖牛奶挣来的。两百元对我们来讲是非常的稀少，但是对于一个夫妻双双下岗，女儿没有固定的工作来言，两百块钱是非常之多的。可是，就只是因为被一个新闻所打动而让自己的家庭多承担了2百块钱的负担，这是非常重的。如果只是两三个月捐捐就算了的，而是XX年！！180个月三万六千元！除此之外，他还给别的残疾人捐款，总捐款数达10万多。这就是我们所有人都应该学会这种精神，坚持！因为正是千千万万个“高振宁”默默地传递着人间真情创造着美好与和谐组委会写给这个爱心家庭的颁奖词是；北京到远安有多远？一位老人踩着三轮车丈量过！以爱的名义出发，心怀慈悲，名利淡薄；扶弱帮困，牛马也做。这家人让我们相信，一滴水，可以滋养一朵花，然后美丽一个世界

最令人感动的是英子姐姐，她，只是被上面派到一所高山小学当支教老师。她本想在支教完后打死也不在这留下，可是，渐渐的时间久了，她感觉到了支教老师是他们在这里的所有希望，她就在这里有呆了XX年。XX年，刘发英在一个偶然的机会中发现了网络助学，便先发了两个学生的资料，没想到先后都寄来了800元。这800元让刘发英感受到了网络的强大，她便每家每户的去搜集资料，发到网上，请求助学。XX年，刘发英吧整个助学扩大到了整个长阳市。800元，也许只是小小的一点钱，但是它却足以让一个乡村孩子过上富裕生活。只要每人献出一点爱，会有许多的贫困孩子走出大山组委会写给刘发英的颁奖词是：有人用网络恶搞，有人用网络出名，她用网络凝聚四海爱心。6年，458个贫困孩子，81万助学款，柔弱的双肩扛起了山里孩子的梦想。爱在山路蔓延，她，如空谷幽兰，芬芳满山乡

还有两位他们一位是袁裕校，他把儿时用过的东西都好好收藏起来。到了现在，都是很珍贵是东西，一些以前古老的东西，当然，这也充分表明了我们中国的科技发达。以致他现在可以开一家家庭博物馆，专门放那些以前的东西。组委会写给袁裕校的颁奖词是一个人，30年，两万件藏品聚沙成塔，粗茶淡饭的岁月凝固成可以触摸的记忆雕像。作为普通人，他找到了健康的生活方式；作为收藏家，他保存我们共同的记忆。另一位是邰丽华，她来自无声的世界，小时候艰苦练习舞蹈，现在，她创建了一个舞台“我的梦”，里面的学生都是聋人和哑巴，都是邰丽华的学生，他们在舞台上互相帮助，取长补短。出演了一次次成功的舞台表演。

看了今年的“新春第一课”我又认识了一些伟大的人物，他们各有各的优点，我要向他们学习。这几年的“新春第一课”，“开学第一课”都是弄得越来越好了，我一定要吸取他们的好处，好好学习，长大当一个对社会有用的人
