family and give thanks for their blessings.

Community activities include masked dance， Kanggangsuwollae， an ancient

circle dance， tug-of-wars and the tortoise game， kobuk-nori (乌龟游戏)， in which two

men dress as a tortoise and tour the village dancing and performing for food and

窗外的夜晚，鞭炮声几乎不断，夸张地演绎着一份喜庆，散飞的红色纸屑飘呀飘地点缀着白色的大地，就像虚幻的仙境，我们没有圣诞老人从北方赶着麋鹿拉的雪橇来送礼物，传说中驱赶年兽的吆喝已成了祝福的象征。在这祝福的声响里，我竟然睡着了，睡梦里有白色的仙女舞动着红色的绸缎，轻盈而美丽。

到了初二，雪再也挡不住人们出行的脚步，回娘家的，走亲戚的，上城的，回乡的，有了汽车，再远再难的路也成了通途。那些一年没见一面的亲戚总会把我弄得昏头转向，“叫伯伯”、“叫三叔”、“这是姨奶奶”……即使叫错了称呼，也没什么难堪，图得只是个热闹，大人们都搞不清的复杂关系，到了小孩这里就变成偷乐着压岁钱又收了多少。

街上商场超市里的人挤得水泄不通，各种休闲会所里更是家家爆满，瞧瞧遍布大街小巷的茶餐厅，你还能找到空位子吗?约上四五个朋友，摆上两副牌，点上一壶茶，开打。大笑的，囔囔的，辩解的.，不分你我，热火朝天。就这样，新年飞快。

“爆竹声中一岁除，春风送暖入屠苏。”很久很久以前，“炒年货、腊八粥、送灶神、杀牲畜……”或许已留在了最久远的记忆深处;“一家人围坐的守岁夜、舞龙舞狮，踩高跷……”也许只是电视里怀旧的画面了。

Someone asks me what on earthHappinessmeans? I cant give you the exact definition of it, but Im sure if you love and help others, youll get it..

Ill never forget an old lady. She lives in a small house alone. Its said that her husband and her son died in a traffic accident. How bitter her life is!But the old lady often helps others with a smile. Whenever it snows, she is always the first to clean the paths. She looks after several children living nearby. I am one of them. I often remember the stories she told us and her kind smile. Perhaps she is unlucky, but I think she is a happy person. Her life is full of laughter and love.

But Im sad to see some people getting their happiness in bad ways.They speak loudly in cinemas and meeting rooms; they destroy trees to enjoy themselves and they laugh at others shortcomings. Perhaps they feel happy at that time, but they will never get true happiness because they have lost their personality.

Now I know what happiness is. It means kindness, love and unselfishness. Above all, only bringing happiness to others can make you yourself get it.

Ladies and gentlemen, I want to say something about trees. As we know now

trees are very important to human beings. First of all, they benefit our health.

They send out oxygen for us to breathe. We cant live without trees.Secondly,

trees can beautify our environment.

As trees are so important, we must do our best to protect them. We must

enforce the tree protection laws. We must plant as many trees as possible.Only

in this way can we live happily in the beautiful world.
