Last years Spring Festival is special. My uncle and my aunt came back from

Pandas are my favourite animals. In fact, all the people like pands as well. 人一直以为地球是无穷大的，即使把数亿吨的垃圾随便扔，或是把几亿吨的废气送上天空，也没有什么事。但我们错了，而且是大错特错。事实上，地球并不大，它是一个半径只有六千三百多千米的星球。人们自以为地球十分大，要知道，宇宙中随便一个星球都有可能比地球大上十几倍，甚至是几十万倍。太阳，我们很多人都觉得太阳特别大，因为它相当于一百三十万个地球，可也有比太阳更大的星球，那就是红巨星，有些红巨星的质量是太阳的几亿倍，由此我们可以得出地球是多么渺小。

正因为地球的渺小，所以我们要加倍地保护它，而不是破坏它。现在科学家都声张保护地球，爱护环境，可有些人因为贪婪，所以他们把科学家的忠告当耳边风。因为这些人，导致世界上的许多地方遭受了严重污染。污染并未停止，而是在不断加重，因为污染，导致地球上的自然环境发生连锁发应。

比如：因为过度用电导致二氧化碳加剧，造成“温室效应”，它让地球的冰川不断融化。科学家推断，如果还是这种样子的话，冰川将在10至20年左右全部融化。那时候，地球的海平面会剧增十几米，这会给沿海居民带来严重威胁。

保护地球看似很难，其实很简单，只有低碳生活，地球的废气和垃圾或许能减少几十万吨，但如果人们还执迷不悟的话，人类有可能跟一位外国作家说的一样，恐龙灭绝是因为小行星撞击，人类灭绝可能是因为自己的执迷不悟和贪婪。
