第一，积累是必需的。英语是一门语言，语言是没有速成的，尤其是一些经典的词句，是需要我们一点一滴积累的。在收集名言警句的过程中，我们可以有目的性地收集。所谓目的性，是指在作文中，命题的形式和题材一般是固定的，那么针对这样的内容，我们就要尽量收集能用得上的名言警句，或者说，名言警句要对的上路子，这么做可能有一点功利，但咱们毕竟是应试，退一步说，这样收集的句子也不一定都是没有用的，所以，我们要首先找准方向，少走弯路。

学生不愿写作文很大程度是由于学生对于作文有一种畏惧、厌烦的心理，认为作文是一项高难度的思维创造，认为没有什么可以写的，不知该怎样写。教师在指导学生作文时，要从各方面入手，消除学生对作文的畏惧感，激发学生的写作兴趣，提高学生的写作能力。

一、扩大阅读，丰富知识，为学生作文创作奠定基础。

作文是各种知识的综合运用，没有丰厚的知识，很难写出思想深刻、内容丰富、新颖别致的好作文来，所以教师要教育学生，要多读课外书籍，特别是那些名著，甚至自然科学知识，也要了解一些。正如培根所说“读史使人明智，读诗使人巧意，数学使人精微，博物使人深沉，伦理使人庄重，逻辑与修辞使人善辩”。为了更好地引导学生阅读和作文，教师可组织一些读书班会或专题沙龙，让学生交流读书心得体会，或以讲故事、开辩论会等形式来锻炼口才。再通过办手抄报、校园黑板报等形式提高学生的书面作文水平。学生在广泛阅读中，从古今中外名著和大量诗文中汲取了健康的思想和艺术精髓，同时也积累了大量词汇和第二手作文材料。通过阅读，学生视野开阔了，知识丰富了，思维活跃了，再不会为“无米之炊”而苦恼。

二、感悟自然，认真观察，培养学生的观察能力。

作文教学要激发学生的情感，启迪学生的悟性。在感悟中培养学生的观察能力，大自然中的一草一木、社会生活中的平凡小事，都可引发我们的思考。可是，面对美丽的大自然孩子们却无动于衷，或虽感到美，却又写不出来。生活中每天发生的事情非常多，孩子们往往求大，忽略了身边值得关注的小事，所以，也造成了无话可说，无事可写的情况。对农村学生来说，农村的风景优美，乡土气息浓厚，美丽的大自然又孕育了千姿百态的动植物。这既是作文教学的直观教具，又为作文教学提供了取之不尽、用之不竭的写作素材。教师利用这种优势，引导学生仔细观察，使他们“见景生情”。把这种情景教育引进小学作文教学中，会收到事半功倍的效果。如写一写家中养的鸡，教师可引导学生观察鸡吃食、鸡打架、鸡下蛋等等，帮他们列出观察项目，学生就会有目的的观察，写作时就不会无话可说了。让学生每天回忆发生的事，说一说、议一议，久而久之，学生就知道了什么事是有价值的了。事不在大小，在事情的内容。指导学生写自己熟悉而又真实的生活，而不是写那些“虚构生活”，让学生知道，说真话、写事实、叙真情就是作文。

三、激活思维，标新立异，培养学生的想象能力。

作文教学的每一个环节都离不开想象力。用想象力激发学生的写作兴趣。根据儿童少年的生理心理的特点，他们想象逐步从无意想象发展到有意想象，想象的兴趣浓厚。现在的世界是多彩的世界，小学生在做作文时应该多发挥想象力，来描绘未来的世界和多彩的生活。让学生张开想象的翅膀，任思维驰骋，想象力应该贯穿整个作文教学之中，没有想象力，学生作文思路就会闭塞，内容空洞，立意不新。所以学生的写作欲望靠想象来燃烧，观察力靠想象来培养，立意新颖靠想象去创造，思路靠想象去拓展，人物形象靠想象去塑造，语言的色调靠想象去渲染。

总而言之，作文教学要努力走进学生的内心世界，贴近现实生活，以人为本，趣字当头，重视写作灵性的启发和培植，在实践中求发展求提高。罗伯特·艾文斯认为，只要学生把作文看成是一种“自我放纵”，不受条条框框的限制，看到什么、听到什么、想到什么就如实地写什么。熟练地掌握写作技巧就不是什么难事了。

1、写的作文没有条理，东一句，西一句，对要表达的内容说不清楚，说不明白。

2、无话可说。面对作文题想不出几个句子，不知道写什么。究其原因是找不到材料，没有学会从观察生活中积累材料。语言表达能力比较弱，不会用抽象、美好、感性的辞藻来叙述，以至作文写得短，枯燥无味，写不具体。

3、错字太多，影响全篇。儿童对文字记忆力较差，当心里有一大堆话想要表达时，总有一大堆生字困扰着他，容易出现许多错别字，打断他的思维，使他的条理显得更加紊乱。

4、在写作过程中学生不知如何将口头语言转化为书面语言。

针对以上的问题，可以从以下几方面采取对策：

一、引导学生学会观察生活。

观察是学生了解周围事物的主要技能，也是积累作文素材最基本的方法之一。如何对学生进行观察的具体指导？

1、丰富学生观察的内容。利用班队活动、游玩、家庭生活、校园环境等发生在学生身边的事例来训练学生的观察，要求学生有定向性的观察人、观察景、观察物。

2、教给学生观察方法。通过观察，在头脑中留下事物的印象，并进行想象和联想的训练，深化对事物的认识。

二、引导学生有条理地说，进而迁移到有条理地写

作文能力和说话是一致的，说话是作文的基础，作文是用笔来说话，学好作文，必须学好说话。说话是在不知不觉的摹仿中进行的，但不一定能把话说好说对，成为作文的基础。要培养和提高学生说话能力，进行说话训练。

1、指导学生正确发言，说完整话、说清楚话，开展各种活动，诱导学生说话。

2、加强诵读能力的训练。诵读可以丰富学生的词汇，增强语感，学会多种句式，进而把课文中的语言变为自己的语言，吸收、积累，形成连贯、精确的表达习惯。

3、复述，是用自己的语言和课文中的主要语句，将课文的内容有条理，有重点地表述出来的一种方式，是进行口语训练的一种重要途径和方法，是在学生理解和记忆课文内容的基础上进行的，还能帮助学生积累语言，培养学生正确、熟练运用语言的能力。方式有：详细复述，主要靠记忆来完成；简要复述：培养学生的概括能力；创造性复述，掌握原文中心后，用自己的语言复述；续编课文，锻炼学生口语表达能力的有效手段，可以开阔学生视野，使自身的感受和原文融为一体，体现个性，使文章的词汇化为自己的知识。使学生逐步说通，说顺。

4、认真上好口语交际课，增强学生的语言表达能力，提高语言表达效果。口语交际课就是让学生通过观察具体的事物，抓住主要内容，用自己的话有条理地说。学生懂得如何才能把一件事或一个物说清楚，说具体时，学生的思维也是最活跃，最有写作欲望，老师就可以顺势抓住时机，让学生把自己想说的话写出来。

5、教给学生说话的顺序。常见的顺序有：先概括后具体，按事情的发展顺序，按时间的先后顺序，按地点的转换，从形状到色彩，由外貌语言到动作心理，按“有的有的还有的”顺序，按“先接着然后最后的顺序等。

I am highly disappointed in the proposed 2004-05 budget cuts to educa1ion. Taking away basic aid status and slashing our school budgets is a recipe for educational disaster in our school. The future lies with our children. They must have access to high quality educa1ion.

My husband and I have worked hard to be able to live in a school district that provides high quality education for our children. Cutting funding in districts like ours will have a negative impact on property values.

The school that my daughter attends is hardly wha1 I would describe as a "rich" school. Parents are asked to pay for books for all the classes, science supplies and for their students to participate in the performing arts among other items. If our school is to remain a world leader in technological development, cutting our school funds is the worst possible choice to make.

Education funds should not be diverted away from education.

一、明确作文要求，提高写作能力

一篇好的作文，要有一个主题思想，整篇作文应该是紧扣文章主题，遵循特定的文体格式，选用恰当的语言合理组织文章结构，内容统一、连贯，语法、拼写、标点 正确，用词恰当。很多同学在准备英语写作时找不到方向，一味的想在考研英语写作上面抓分，却又不知道怎么样提高。杨老师在此特别提醒考生首先要学会抓住考研英语写作要领，尤其注意文章逻辑关系在阅读中的运用。逻辑关系散布在文章的句子内部、句句之间、以及段落之间。最基本的逻辑关系有以下几种：

1、因果关系：as a result ，therefore，hence，consequently，because,for, due to, hence, consequently等等。

2、并列、递进关系：and, or, then，in addition，besides，in other words，moreover等等

3、转折关系：however，but, yet, in fact等等。

这些其实是已经很熟悉的逻辑提示词在文章中起的效果，并非仅仅是衔接文章的句子，从阅读的角度来看，其实同时在给我们某种提示，告诉我们哪些句子是有效信息，相对重要的信息，哪些信息是相对不重要的信息，因为我们在英语写作的时候，有一条清晰的思路，你不是为了完整翻译文章而进行阅读，而是为了获取主旨来写作。

二、摆脱无话可说 练习“三段式”思维

在英语作文写作时，无话可说的确让人比较头疼，无话可说是一个极端，有的考生题目看得懂，提纲也一目了然，就是不知道该说什么，在考场上头脑一片空白，想到的也只是空泛的东西，在考试过程当中，这会在很大程度上影响大家的做题效果和做题速度。杨老师表示，当头脑出现空白时，应该从具体的、细小的、琐碎的、微不足道的事物所引发的思考变成观点，再进行论述。例如，领导讲话总是第一部分、、第二部分、第三部分…这样条理比较清楚。考官们看文章也必然要通过这些关键性的“标签”来判定你的文章是否结构清楚，条理自然。破解方法很简单，只要把下面任何一组的词汇加入到你的几个要点前就清楚了。

1）first, second, third, last（不推荐，原因：俗）

2）firstly, secondly, thirdly, finally（不推荐，原因：俗）

3）the first, the second, the third, the last（不推荐，原因：俗）

4）in the first place, in the second place, in the third place, lastly（不推荐，原因：俗）

5）to begin with, then, furthermore, finally（强烈推荐）

6）to start with, next, in addition, finally（强烈推荐）

7）first and foremost, besides, last but not least（强烈推荐）

8）most important of all, moreover, finally

9）on the one hand, on the other hand（适用于两点的情况）

10）for one thing, for another thing（适用于两点的情况）

建议：不仅仅在写作中注意，平时说话的时候也应该条理清楚！

三、用词准确保证语言连贯

考研英语写作中，同样是一篇作文，在没有语法、词汇等基础性错误的前提下，一个考生的句式平平，而另外一个考生的句式灵活多变，非常漂亮，毫无疑问，后者肯定比前者的分数高。但写英语作文时最忌讳的是用一些模棱两可的词，表达不够准确，而且考试时要特别注意语法、词语、语气、标点符号等，避免单词拼写错误、语法错误，不要为了追求词语的华丽而堆积一些自己也没把握的单词，不要刻意追求长句而写一些自己不知对错的有多个从句组成的长句。建议考生考试时，最好选择自己最有把握的词汇、短语和句式。

很多考生习惯背诵模版，在写作文是喜欢套用背诵模版，但由于仓促，紧张等原因，很容易犯一些简单的错误，如语句不通。所以提醒考生选材时切忌胡子眉毛一把抓，词语堆积，不伦不类。前后及段落之间在逻辑关系上要紧密衔接，不能把没有任何逻辑关系的词放在一起，可以用恰当的关联词把思想连贯的表达出来。总之，无论想要套用那个模版，前提都要保证语言通顺，文章思想连贯。此外，要有自己的style，一来通过背诵或研究范文，把握考研英语作文的整体结构特点，以及写作格式，二来要在研究范文的基础上寻找自己的闪光点，比如闪光词汇。如果大家仔细研究真题，就会发现，几乎所有的高分作文都有一个共同点，那就是都具有几个闪光词汇，这个词汇可能并不是什么高级词汇，但是你能把它的延伸意，或者说你能把我它的一词多义，并且应用到你的文章中。

四、长短句巧搭配 精悍短语当亮点

写作时，尤其是在考试时，如果使用短语，有两个好处：其一、用短语会使文章增加亮点，如果老师们看到你的文章太简单，看不到一个自己不认识的短语，必然会看你低一等。相反，如果发现亮点—精彩的短语，那么你的文章定会得高分了。此外短小精辟的句子，也可以起到画龙点睛的作用。而且如果把短句放在段首或者段末，也可以揭示主题：

杨老师强烈建议：在文章第一段（开头）用一长一短，且先长后短；在文章主体部分，要先用一个短句解释主要意思，然后在阐述几个要点的时候采用先短后长的句群形式，定会让主体部分妙笔生辉！文章结尾一般用一长一短就可以了。
