青蛙不但是捉害虫的能手，还是庄稼的“保护神”呢!它专门捕食蚊虫、苍蝇、蛾子等害虫。青蛙一天大约能吃50只害虫，一年就能吃好多万只害虫呢。青蛙的幼虫——蝌蚪，一天能吃100只孑孓，可见，它的本领也不小哦!如果人们把青蛙全部捕杀了，人们就只能用农药来杀灭害虫，我们吃了被农药喷洒过的粮食、蔬菜后，就会得病，难怪人们说：“蛙满塘，谷满仓”啊!
