电脑具有运算速度快，计算精度高，记忆力超强的功能和逻辑推断能力强等特点，数学家或是科学家等人都会有一台电脑。电脑最神奇的是能上网。网上的内容丰富多彩：在书库可以找到自己喜欢的书籍；在论坛可以与全国各地甚至外国的朋友交流；在影视屋里，可以看电视节目，有连续剧，有电影，也有孩子们最喜欢的动画片；在“百度”可以查资料……几千亿万的内容都在网上，供你工作休闲。电脑能给你带来便利。如果你想找资料，去图书馆要找好几小时，还要抄的内容，用电脑，打开网络一查，资料就全出来了，再配上打印机把资料打出来，或使用邮箱发到某人的手里便好了，“时间是金钱”，这该节约多长时间啊！

电脑还可以当老师呢。如果你因故没去上学，只要在家用网络一查，你今天该学的视频就出来了，按一下，电脑就为你讲一节详细而生动有趣的课。在校学习和在电脑前学习都差不多，所以回校后，你只要补笔记，不用补课，也可以考好试了。到时候恐怕连老师都要大跌眼镜，更别说同学们了。除此以外，网络上还有一些题，打印出来就可以可以供你做，可以不买课外书了。网络上也有许多你不知道的，例如什么是蒸馏水，你想弄明白，只要一查，电脑帮你轻松解决这个问题。只要你有上进心，用它辅助你，学位什么的根本不是问题！

目前，科技正在飞速发展，我坚信，电脑在各方面的运用会越来越广泛。也许有一天，电脑也会下岗呢。
