Then tie the rest onto your pole like this.” He demonstrated with his own materials, and I followed his example. Then he thrust both our torches into the fire and handed me mine. “Now run!”

And run I did----we all did. For miles and miles around, as far as I could see, there were small orange specks scattered about, and I could hear the distant screaming and laughing of other children running up and down the rice field path. For several hours into the night I helped build fires and keep an eye on the younger children. Occasionally I, too, lit a torch and ran around like a mad man, screaming and waving a flaming bamboo pole.

This festival, which occurred six days before Chinese New Year, was just one of the experiences during the visit to my friends over the Spring Festival. As it was explained to me, the purpose behind this festival was to allow the children to have fun burning up all the straw leftover after the harvest. Later, the ash is used for fertilizer.

下雪啦!我正在家里望着窗外纷纷扬扬的雪花。雪终于停了，我一溜烟地跑出家门，冲向这一片银装素裹的雪白天地里，我和伙伴们一起打雪仗，堆雪人，尽情地享受雪花带来的乐趣。

年三十那天，我一早就到了外婆家，和大家一起吃着团圆的年夜饭，真是别有一番独特的乐趣啊!我们边吃边看超级中国风，又搞笑又风俗的春节联欢晚会，有热闹的演唱会，有让人捧腹大笑的小品，也有感人的人物访谈……但我没来得及看完，舅舅叫我去外面放烟花，我尝试了我平生第一次自己放烟花。啊!当我松手时，一团烟花飞速升空，一瞬间，天空中就出现了一片五光十色的景象。放鞭炮更是我不曾做过的事了，呵呵，我临阵脱逃，因为我不敢……放完了烟火，我们又去参加小区的新年活动。小区的活动可真热闹啊!节目表演就不用说了，我最喜欢的是敲钟祈福，我在迎新年的钟声中默默地许愿……最令人激动地是我在抽奖活动中抽到奖了，耶!

“十，九，八……三，二，一!!!”随着倒计时，我们迎来了新的一年，外面鞭炮齐鸣，火树银花，我又长了一岁了，当然最开心的是，我拿到了一只只厚厚的压岁包。里面包含着家人对我深深地爱……

过了除夕，新年正月开始，许多家门口都还贴着红红的春联，大家走亲访友，享受着这个合家团圆的假期!

过年，大家一定要看“春节联欢会”吧，下面是我觉得好看的一些节目。

刚开始，优雅的音乐声响起，春节联欢晚会就正式开始。

随着一个个节目的结束，很久都没有上春晚的周杰伦上台，观众们兴奋极，有的一蹦蹦到三尺高，有的是使劲的喊破嗓子来给周杰伦助威，更有恨不得派上台和周杰伦接触。

可惜的是他唱的《兰亭序》并不好听，还不如《稻香》和《青花瓷》好听。

接着黄宏演的小品“聪明丈夫”隆重登场，结果聪明反被聪明误。刚上来，黄宏的同事疯疯癫癫的出来黄宏的老婆受不出来揭穿他，黄宏众叛亲离，由此他说一句话：人的眼睛是黑的，新是红的；可是眼睛一红，心就黑。由此我们得到一个启示：做人不能太贪心，该这样就要这样。希望大家记住。

接下来的魔术太绝，傅琰东表演的魔术-年年有鱼（余），真是举世无双，空前绝后。他可以让鱼听自己的指挥，然后再一变，主持人也可以指挥鱼儿走动，不过这只是在热身。

紧接着，他在一幅画里让鱼移动位置，还让画上的鱼出来，又变回去，最后他大显身手，在隔着一层玻璃的情况下，把画上的三条鱼全部变进水族箱里，其含义祝大家年年有鱼（余）。

不过今年的晚会不如去年的好希望cctv多多加油，祝全国人民新春快乐！
