at school, and many other Americans travel a long distance to spend the holiday

at home.

On that day, Americans give thanks for the blessings they have enjoyed

Its New Years Day today. This morning when I got up, I heardsomebody singing a love song. It was mum! Ifelt very strange because Iknew mum didnt enjoy popular songs. 我的第一个饺子，真是惨不忍睹，因为捏得不到位，竟然“趴”下去了。第二个呢，因为放多了馅，包好后，竟然把馅露出了一大截……哎，再看看妈妈和奶奶包的，个个圆乎乎的像个小元宝。我不禁更气馁了，奶奶一看我这模样，连忙安慰我说：“莫急，莫急，慢慢来嘛，来奶奶教你”在在奶奶的鼓励下，我重新振奋了起来，再加上奶奶的指导和我非常仔细地观察了妈妈的手法，竟然也掌握了包饺子的技巧，先少放一点馅试着包了几个还真有饺子的样子了，这下我高兴了，开始将馅放到适量了，终于可以包出象样的饺子了，虽然样子还没有奶奶和妈妈包的好看，但我已经很知足了，妈妈也夸奖我，说以后会越包越像的。

饺子包好了，就要开始烧水煮了，我焦急的等待着，好不容易，饺子煮好了，夹起一个自己包的饺子，心里就象吃了蜜一样甜。奶奶说：“饺子，不仅味道令人着迷，还象征着幸福和团圆。”原来饺子还有这样的意思啊，我又学到知识了。

看着一家人围着桌子吃着热气腾腾的饺子别提多开心了，在这个充满爱的家中，我无比幸福。
