说实在话，我一直为我拥有一个幸福美满的家庭而感到快乐。因为在这个家庭里，有幽默而严厉的爸爸；有爱唠叨而又勤劳的妈妈；还有活泼开朗的我，三个性格完全不同的人组成了温馨快乐的一家。别看妈妈整天啰啰唆唆地唠叨我，但我还是很喜欢她，因为妈妈很爱笑，也很喜欢扮鬼脸，她那滑稽的样子经常会让我笑出了眼泪，笑痛了肚子。爸爸是一名推销员，当妈妈做好饭而我却不爱吃时，爸爸就会施展他的“推销才能”，把本来普普通通的菜吹得神乎其神，让我不得不拿起筷子，当我抱着“很好吃”、“很神奇”的心态尝上几口后，没想到我竟然喜欢上这道菜了！在我犯错误的时候，教训我的总是爸爸。爸爸的“嘴上功夫”也真厉害，能把我说到面红耳赤，直到我有了愧疚之心才肯罢休。不过，爸爸平时是很慈祥的，他常常和我一起玩耍，给我讲笑话……那时的我，开心极了！

In the east of China,there is a small city---Haimen.I was born

there.Today,I am telling you about my hometown.

Haimen is not far from Shanghai.Its at the mouth of the Changjiang

River.Haimen is a modern city.There are lots of high buildings in it.Most of us

live in flats.We like to live in flats because we can be close to our friends.In

the center of Haimen,there are many shops.You can buy some nice things

here.Things in most shops arent expensive.You can pay a little money and they

are yours.

My hometown is a beautiful city.On each of the roads,there are some big

trees and nice flowers.The roads are also very clean.They make people happy and

comfortable.The seasons here are very nice.I like autumn best.Its neither hot

nor cold.A poem says “Flyer of summer come to my window to sing,then fly

away.And yellow leaves of autumn,which have no songs,just fall there with a

sign.” Its very cool.

I love Haimen.Its a nice place to live.Welcome to my hometown.

An Enlightening Night

That was really an unforgettable night.I was waiting for buses at the station.There came an old lady, who was running to catch the bus.However,she was knocked down by a bike and the rider just ran away.The first thing came to my mind was the famous Pengyu’s incident,which shocked the ethic line of our society.All of a sudden,I was in a dilemma.I worried that I may be involved in troubles if I gave a hand to the

elderly,as Pengyu’s incident was like a warning.So I was frozen.What surprised me most was that a passer-by girl,rushing across the street without hesitation,putting the old lady on her back and carrying her to a hospital nearby.At that moment,I felt so embarrassed and ashamed that I wanted to crawl a hole and never come out.She was just a student but she did something what an adult like me was afraid of.

Never in my dream did I imagine that girl could have such an impact on my view of moral obligation.From then on,I decide to help strangers who is in need without hesitation and reservation.Because only in this way can our society become more harmonious.From my perspective,that little girl teaches me a lot that night.The

conscience of the many outweighs the wicked behaviors of the few.That’s what we should keep in mind no matter what we experience.

“书是人类进步的阶梯”、“书籍就是力量”、“生活里没有书籍，就好像没有阳光;智慧里没有书籍，就好像鸟儿没有翅膀”这一句句名言警句不都应证了书的重要作用与书在一个人人生中的重要地位吗?现在大多数人读书不是为了消磨时间就是为了完成任务，有谁把读书当成快乐的事呢?

我从很小的时候起，就开始听爸爸妈妈讲故事，那时侯只是觉得书里面的内容很好玩，很好笑，根本没有在意，但从那时起，我就喜欢上了书，因为从中能知道许多事情。上了小学，就开始学着自己读书，一、二年级时，有许多字还不认识，便标着拼音一个个地看，只是粗略地看一遍，完全没有注意那动人的情节、特殊的环境;更没有发现主人公与众不同的个性、坚毅的品质;没有理解书里的喜怒哀乐。随着年龄的增长，我发现读书也是一件快乐的事情，我不再粗略的看一遍，而是一个个字细心的品味，理解更深层的含义。

由于我喜欢上了读书，因此我的书已经超过上百本了，里面既有文学名著，也有故事小说，还有期刊杂志，这些都帮助着我的学习，丰富着我的知识，告诉了我一些道理，让我如何面对生活、学习、挫折，鼓励我坚强的面对困难、战胜困难。书不仅能够从中学到新的知识，还能从中学到新的常识，学会生存。

读书最大的乐趣就是从中找到自己不知道的事情。里面有对社会现象的批判，美丽风景的描写，鲜为人知的秘密与故事，中外风土人情的讲述，对奥秘的探索，还有一个个催人奋发向上，给人鼓励的感人事迹。像《汤姆叔叔的小屋》里那些恶毒的奴隶主得到应有的报应，让人拍手叫好，不由得为那些只因为肤色问题而遭人虐待的奴隶感到高兴;读《海滨夏夜》不由得想去海滨亲自体验一番那不一般特别风情，那使人向往的、使人充满幻想的心情使人快乐;读《三国演义》让人为那奸诈的小人做的事感到愤怒，一个个英雄的行侠仗义的气魄让人顿时豪情万丈;《中国骄傲》里，一个个英勇的消防战士不顾自己年轻的生命，用生命换取一分一秒的时间，用身躯挡住即将来的死神，不少人为此付出了年青的生命，活下来的人坚定的说：“即使那次我死了，我也决不后悔，我等待着有更多像我一样的人去保护别人的生命财产!”我难道不为这一个个消防战士充满敬意吗?读《北大有多远》让人感到不仅母爱是无私的，父爱也是伟大的……

读书要自己融入到书里面才能读懂书中的含义，理解书里人物的喜怒哀乐。冰心说过：“要读好书、好读书、读书好。”读书是好的，要自己好读书，而且要读好书。

如果没有充足的时间读书，那你就得看看《做时间的主人》这篇文章了，它告诉你如何合理安排时间。书可以随身携带，既可以让你学到知识，也可以大大增加你的风度，让人一看就觉得你是个有知识的人。既然可以随身携带那就可以从空闲的一分一秒抽出时间，比如等人时看一看、休息时看一看都行。

读书是快乐的，我们一定要把“我读书，我快乐”这个理念进行到底，如果读得不快乐干脆不要读了，读书是为了让自己快乐，在快乐的同时学习知识，要自愿读书，这样才会在读书的过程中寻找到快乐。

今年的暑假，就是不一样。不但放假了，堂姐和表哥们也放了暑假，堂姐和表哥要来我家小住，我参加了游泳兴趣班，我告诉您，今年的暑假，我过得非常非常地快乐。

你不知道！有一天，两个同学一起来叫我出去，是做一次全市人民健身调查，就是调查人民的活动时间和活动项目，我们三人分配好任务后，就开始了！小祈和小越一起负责问过路人，我胆子小，不敢问，就负责把她们听到的话写入四张表里，四张分别：7至15岁、16至28岁、29至50岁和51至80岁的这四张表，她俩和气地叫住一位慈祥的老奶奶，说：“老奶奶，请问您的活动时间是多久？活动项目又是什么呢？”

这位老奶奶听着她俩问的话，详细地回答出来，我把她俩问到的话写入一张纸里。就这样，我们三人一直问到中午，四张的人数一共有80个人，每张的人数有20人啊！才分别回到她自己的家。嘻嘻！这是老师布置的一项作业！

还有一天，堂姐和她的同学一起带我出去玩，我们搭了出租车，本想先到肯德鸡吃喝一下，一到那，那儿里的人，从里面排队排到马路上，笑死人了！要回家的路上，姐姐为我买了一些玩具，等我回到家的时候，没想到，二姑她全家人都来了，而且还买了许多我喜欢的水果，二姑的两个孩子一起叫我和姐姐陪他们一块下去，我是刚上来的，有些累了，所以我没跟他们下去。

当然，那他们有什么趣事，我也不晓得，家里就剩下我和堂姐咯！堂姐这就去打开电脑，上网了。我跑到客厅，打开电视，看我最喜欢的连续剧《一起又看流星雨》。后来，二姑一家人走后，家里就只剩下奶奶、姐姐、弟弟还有我和堂姐，但过了不久，妈妈也买了许多水果来，全家笑坏了肚子，嘻嘻！我想，现在，家里的水果不怕没得吃，只怕吃不完啊！

我每年的暑假都很快乐，但今年的暑假是最快乐的了。
