人活在世上，有人认为要有钱，有车，有豪宅等很多东西，但是这一切都是“零”，只有健康和生命才是“1”，只有有了前面的“1”，后面的“零”越多，你的财富才是真正的多，否则，前面的“1”倒了，你即便是有了再多的“零”对你来说也是毫无意义的。

在生活中，我们难免会碰到一些挫折，面对挫折时我们不能气馁，应该鼓起勇气去面对，要以坚韧不拔的意志去克服困难，健康成长。只要活着，就是美好的；只要活着，就是幸福的。活着，就要执著生命，爱护自我，每天，我们要像海伦凯勒一样，情不自禁地感叹：“生活，她是如此美丽啊！”

About ten years ago when I was an undergraduate in college， I was working as an intern at my Universitys Museum of Natural History. One day while working at the cash register in the gift shop， I saw an elderly couple come in with a little girl in a wheelchair.

As I looked closer at this girl， I saw that she was kind of perched on her chair. I then realized she had no arms or legs， just a head， neck and torso. She was wearing a little white dress with red polka dots.

As the couple wheeled her up to me I was looking down at the register. I turned my head toward the girl and gave her a wink. As I took the money from her grandparents， I looked back at the girl， who was giving me the cutest， largest smile I have ever seen.

All of a sudden her handicap was gone and all I saw was this beautiful girl， whose smile just melted me and almost instantly gave me a completely new sense of what life is all about. She took me from a poor， unhappy college student and brought me into her world; a world of smiles， love and warmth.

That was ten years ago. Im a successful business person now and whenever I get down and think about the troubles of the world， I think about that little girl and the remarkable lesson about life that she taught me.

With the development of technology, today, our life is facilitated with all kinds information sources. We can read books on the Internet, which is much convenient than buying the books in the stores. I like to read E-books, because there are many advantages. First, I can save a lot of money. Downloading the E-books is for free, I can find all kinds of free sources. How to be a greener person

It’s our duty to protect the inviyonment around us.

When we go to school, we should ride a bike or take a bus. When we go out

for activities, we shouldn’t step on the grass. We can’t draw everywhere. When

we go shopping, we’d better use a cloth bag. At home we can save water and

electricity. When we leave a room, we should turn off the ligts. At school we

can collect wast paper and recycle things, such as bottles, cans and plastic

bags. We shoudn’t listen to pop music or spit in pulic.

Let’s do something to protect our environment.

Nowadays, there is a growing focus on health care. People are pursuing a

healthy lifestyle. A healthy diet is one of the most important parts of it. As

the saying goes, bread is the staff of life, eating healthily and deliciously is

the goal we pursue. From my point of view, in order to build healthy eating

habits, we should eat more vegetables and less fat and sugar. Vegetable is the

best source of s vitamin, because vegetables are rich in vitamins. Among them,

vitamin C and vitamin A are the most important. Too much fat and sugar can lead

to obesity, which is harmful to health. Besides, eating more fruits and drinking

more water is of great help.
