一、个人作风基本情况

在个人作风上，对照要求，经过认真思考和自我反复排查，我认为我总体上做得还可以，但进步的空间十分巨大，并且与优秀党员的标准还相差很多。一是在学校工作中尽量克服形式主义，脚踏实地地办事，把功夫下到察实情、出实招、办实事、求实效上;二是平易近人，反对官僚主义，不摆架子，不带官腔，主动团结教职工，和教职工融在一起;三是保持艰苦奋斗的精神，吃苦在前、享受在后，勤奋工作，以饱满的热情投入到教育教学管理中去。经常加班加点，即使在周末和节假日，脑子里也想着如何做好工作;四是在生活上勤俭节约，能远离享乐主义思想，能抑制奢靡之风，自觉抵制不健康思想和价值观的影响。能够较好处理好家庭关系、朋友关系、同事关系。

二、存在的主要问题

经过认真对照本次活动要求，我认识到目前自身存在的主要问题有：

(一)形式主义方面

1.在政治理论知识和业务知识学习上，虽然能自觉学习党的政治理论和先进思想，但是存在着思考问题浅尝辄止，浮于表面的毛病，用理论指导实际工作方面更是成效不明显。

2. 有时抓工作靠开会，会议过多过长，有老师提出缩减会议，我还不乐意，说毛泽东能够夺取天下，就靠经常开会，经常在会议上统一思想。有时工作来了，就要求老师在午间开会，随意占用老师的休息时间。

3. 总爱以工作任务多为理由，让中层干部加班。从不考虑中层干部的身体和家庭状况，总认为他们都应该向自己看齐，应该工作起来永不疲倦。殊不知，有的中层干部身体有病，不好意思请假，一直在硬撑着，很多时候累得直哭，我还让大家坚持干;有的干部孩子小，家里没有老人照顾，我也不管不问，还硬着心肠让大家加班。

4.平时巡视有些蜻蜓点水，走马观花。在日常巡视中，我一般都爱转教学楼的教室，主要观察学生的学习状况。有时好不容易抽出点时间到老师办公室转转，本应该利用绝好机会多关心关心自己的职工，可还没有说几句，看到哪儿脏了，物品摆放不整齐，就开始批评了。批评几句，随即又离开了，有些走马观花，没有深入到老师中间去俯下身子倾听意见。有时巡视先入为主、主观臆想，只听自己想听的，只看自己想看的，没能了解到最真实的情况。

5.不切实际，好大喜功。2013年，我校建校满60周年，在此之际，我想借此机会隆重宣传一下学校，在设计校庆系列活动时，想追求轰动效应，热衷造声势，总想邀请几个大领导来参加学校举办的奠基仪式，也想找几个大领导给题个词签个名。后来，在邀请领导的过程中，他们都无一例外地提到中央八项规定和郑州市改进工作作风20项规定，并善意提醒我要认真领会精神。于是，我们把学校60周年校庆活动的主角设定为教师、学生、老干部和家长。我们举办了名家笔会、师生书画作品展、庆校庆合唱比赛、描摹我心目中的新学校画画比赛，由家长和学生为新校奠基培土、出版了校庆画册、论文、新闻集等5本书等，举办了一个低调、有丰富内涵的校庆活动。看来，哗众取宠、出风头，挖空心思编造“新思路”、杜撰“新经验”，把安排领导出场讲话、组织发新闻、上电视作为头等大事等面子工程，确实是形式主义的表现，应当力戒。

6.工作地点范围老是局限在校园，很少到局里汇报，就是局里通知开会了，也是开完会就走，也没有到相关处室走动一下，总害怕别人说爱拉关系。殊不知，学校的工作全靠教育局领导和各处室的大力支持，应该实事求是，听取意见、争取支持，不叫拉关系。像我们现在建新校，遇到了很多困难，好多难题都是我们向教育局领导汇报后，他们给协助解决的。

7.对上有报喜不报忧现象，掩盖矛盾和问题。总想给局里一个学校很兴旺的印象，对一些问题总想抓紧时间内部解决完事。其实不能热衷于做表面文章，把口号当成绩，把准备做的说成已经做了，把布置的说成落实的，而应扎扎实实地迎着困难上，切实解决工作中出现的矛盾和问题。

(二)官僚主义方面

1.联系学生和教职工不够深入。学校现正处于过渡时期，新校区建设各方面工作纷繁复杂，千头万绪，有时候忙于事务，深入一线教师、深入班集体不够经常，排解教职工忧虑不够及时。

习近平有一句话：“当县委书记一定要跑遍所有的村，当地市委书记一定要跑遍所有的乡镇，当省委书记一定要跑遍所有的县市区。”那么，当一名校长，一定要跑遍校园所有的角落：教室、画室、教师办公室、宿舍、食堂、操场等，甚至应该跑遍所有教职工的家庭和学生的家庭，至少应该跑到学困生或优秀生的家庭。

按照学校包年级制度的分配，我分管高一年级。虽然每天我能保证到高一楼转一圈，巡视一下，但有时一累，3号楼就免了，由于画室楼离办公楼比较远，本学期也就开学初、督导评估时、特长生考试等上去过，次数非常可数，说明工作不深入，官僚主义作风明显。

2.公仆意识淡薄、群众感情淡漠，在学校有时爱急躁、发脾气。不十分关心教师的疾苦，对他们的诉求总感到不可理喻。平时教职工上下班路途遥远，我总认为搬迁是不可预料的事，也是谁都不愿发生的事，但既然由于城市建设，学校需要让道，那就顺其自然呗。对老师上下班途中经常遇到堵车的实际情况不关注，对于一些有关的抱怨不愿听，对于不愿意看晚自习的老师有看法。其实老师们都很辛苦，大家从内心来说，也都愿意为学校的发展出力，可能有时家里确实有一些不好克服的客观条件限制，导致不能经常在校定时定点呆着。

3.急功近利，在新校设计和建设方面喜好高端大气上档次。我们现在虽然在外过渡，但新校建设一直没有停止和放松，但在前期可研得报批阶段，我总怕设计的建筑面积太小、投资太少，总考虑建设一次新校不容易，土地也是经过千辛万苦争取过来的，总想一步到位，要建得气派。导致新校设计文稿改了无数次。现在反思，这是急于出政绩，热衷于搞 “形象工程”、“政绩工程”的思想在作怪。结果就因为想把新校总投资弄到2.2个亿以上，导致可研从2013年底就开始报批，一直到6月中旬才刚刚批复，拖延了新校整体建设时间。

4.借口工作忙，教学赶礼日渐松懈。刚上任时，我每天晚上都查寝，都是到晚上10: 00以后，查过男女生宿舍以后，才放心地回家。学校搬至经开区第三大街以后，因交通技师学院院内单位多，管理更加困难，我仍然坚持每日查寝，因为全寄宿学校宿舍管理是很大的一个方面，如管理不善，可能会出大问题。但最近一段时间，我经常忙学校三年规划、忙申报市级示范性高中的评估、忙招生、忙中招……渐渐地，很少到宿舍转了，最多也就每周二24小时值班那一天，能到宿舍去看看。现在反思，发展忙也确实忙，但实则忙只是借口，如果挤，时间还是有的，主要是出现了懒惰的思想。总感觉有政教处人员、有宿管老师、有专门的宿管管理人员，少去几次也没事，殊不知，人都是有惰性的，慢慢都会想偷懒，时间长了，工作就会松懈，很可能导致住宿出现问题。

5.批阅文件有时不及时，导致有些该上报局里的材料，都过了截止日期，影响学校整体工作。这也是官僚主义的表现，是工作无序的体现。以后要及时批阅，不累积，不拖延，不影响工作。

(三)享乐主义方面

随着经济发展、生活水平的提高，有的党员革命意志消沉、理想信念动摇，奉行及时行乐的人生哲学，“今朝有酒今朝醉”，“人生得意须尽欢”，认为艰苦奋斗已经“过时”，享乐安逸才是“现实”。有的不信马列信鬼神，缺乏高尚情操和健康精神生活，迷恋于求神拜佛。有的追求物质享受，情趣低俗，玩物丧志，身心颓废。有的对金钱顶礼膜拜，谁有钱为谁服务，谁给钱给谁服务，成了大款老板的“办事员”。反思自己，虽没有这么严重，但也存在不足：

1. 不愿意艰苦朴素，想吃好的，穿好的，用好的，注重个人的生活品质。在学校厉行节约、反对浪费的意识淡薄了。学校因为连续在短时间内两次过渡，在过渡校区学校后勤没有库房，很多条幅、教学上的设备出现了管理不善的现象，到了急着用的时候找不出来，所以只能再做或者再买，造成了浪费，以后应该加强这方面的管理，避免浪费现象的发生。有时候对艰苦奋斗精神缺乏有力的坚守，其实，现阶段更应节俭，不浪费。作为党员，要吃苦在前，享受在后。要旗帜鲜明地反对思想空虚，精神颓废。

2.庸懒松散，不思进取。学校里有一部分老师开口谈享受、闭口要回报，拈轻怕重，安于现状，不愿吃苦出力，特别是过渡到郑州交通技师学院后，很多老师抱怨比较多，一些取得过高级职称的教师，不立新目标，缺乏新动力，部分行政人员“清茶报纸二郎腿，闲聊旁观混光阴”。有的心思不在工作上，“当一天和尚撞一天钟”，得过且过，浑浑噩噩混日子。针对这些现象，有时候我比较急，觉得老师们对自己的要求太低，新校建成后，学校的硬件建设肯定是一流的，但是老师的教学水平、科研水平、学校管理水平这些软件不提高，学校的发展肯定受限制。想着自己要起到带头作用，早上来的早，晚上查完寝以后才走，多深入一线教学，想以此来引领学校的干部和老师。但目前看，除了自己的示范还应该用一些活动，规章制度，和老师谈话多鼓励老师的方法来调动老师们的积极性，利用好中层以上干部和年级长，通过他们带动处室的老师和各年级的老师。自己不抱怨老师的状态，和班子中层干部一起把老师们的慵懒、不思进取的状态改变。

3.学校没有公车，我平时都是开自己的私家车上下班。虽然学校按照规定给报销汽油，但自己总觉得吃亏，有时很想让学校把自己车子的保险也给报了。虽然只是有这种想法，还没好意思实行，但现在想想，这种想法就不该有。有时帮助教师子女上幼儿园、上高中，按说这都是应该的，关心教职工生活嘛，但部分教师为了感谢，有时给我点茶叶什么的，我拒绝无果后，也就收下了。有时自己家遇事，急需用钱，恰好那个月的工资也所剩无几，就直接到到学校会计室打个借条，先借走用，虽然发工资后也做到了及时归还，但自己只想着使用特权给自己行了方便，却没有顾及到老师都不能这么做，明显没对自己严格要求。

(四)奢靡之风方面

说实在的，我对奢靡之风的危害性认识不足，有时会有错误心理。总认为我们身处学校，理应是一方净土，再说我们经常教育学生要艰苦朴素，怎么能到了自己身上，就另做一套呢?总认为学校的干部身上不会出现奢靡之风。由于勤政廉政的意识不够牢固，学习党员干部廉洁自律的有关规定还不够深入，虽然自身强烈反对奢靡，但对奢靡之风的危害性认识不足。其实，人民群众对干部最不满意的问题之一就是公款吃喝、公款旅游、公车私用的“三公问题”。奢靡之风盛行，必然会严重侵蚀党的肌体，损害党同人民群众的血肉联系。强化党自身的凝聚力，弱化党对人民群众的号召力，弱化整个民族的“精气神”。

同时，我身上还存在对八项规定的重要性认识不足、廉政风险防范意识不强等问题，突出表现为：

1.在与外单位交往中，特别是中央八项规定出台以前，碍于面子，认为在食堂接待客人是小里小气的，很少在食堂安排公务接待，认为不让客人吃好喝好就是怠慢了客人，便有个别时候超过餐标接待的情况。自律观念不强，在一定程度上存在风格不够朴素，作风不够勤俭的问题。奢靡之风在我个人身上虽然不甚明显，但从主观上来讲，日常工作仍然存在着“办公条件好一点、办公设备高一点、环境布置好一点”的思想，出差在外依然存在着“住宿好一点、饮食好一点、交通便利点、环境优美点”的思想。存在讲面子、讲排场的现象。有时碍于情面还被动地接受过一些家长送来的土特产。

2.大兴土木，违规建设。2013年，由于学校声誉鹊起，报考我校人数有很大突破，结果在招生方面没有把握好，当年超出招生计划40多人，多招这部分人要吃住，所以，在给教育局财务处紧急汇报后，还没有等到批复，怕影响开学，就私自在教育学院食堂上加盖了一层，在师院锅炉房上面加盖一层作为宿舍。虽然面积不大，只有一、二百平方，但这种不按规程办事，受到了教育局的严厉批评。自己也从这件事得到教训：我深刻反省，由于认识深刻，以后没有了类似事件发生。

三、原因分析

对以上问题的主要成因分析如下：

1、政治理论学习不够深入。

一是没有把理论学习放在重要位置，没有把被动学习转化为主动学习。学习存在片面性，缺乏对理论的系统研究和深刻理解，这是政治理论不成熟的具体表现。

二是理论与实践脱离，忽视了理论与实践的辨证唯物关系，对政治理论的学习只满足于记住几条重要论断和几句讲话，缺乏系统性、经常性的深入学习，不能用马列主义的立场和观点分析问题，不具备用邓小平理论认识问题、解决问题的能力。理论上的成熟是党员和党员领导干部政治上成熟的基础，只有在理论上分清是非，才能做到政治上的清醒和坚定。

2、联系群众不够深入，宗旨观念有所淡化。

对党的群众路线认识不深，对坚持改造自己的世界观、人生观和价值观的重要性认识不足，没有真正在思想上、行动上树立起全心全意为人民服务的公仆意识。在工作上，群众观念淡薄，看不到教师的首创精神，指导工作主观意志成份多，为教师想得少、做得少，服务教师缺乏真功夫。

3. 宗旨意识、党性修养还不够强。全心全意为人民服务的宗旨意识树立得还不牢固。有时候没有处理好对上负责与对教师负责的关系，接受教师的监督还不够广泛深入，对教师负责的意识淡薄了一些，思想深处对“为了谁、依靠谁、我是谁”问题认识不是很清楚。有时对科学政绩观、事业观理解不全面，工作中存在功利主义色彩。当前考虑个人得失多、考虑单位工作少，对上级负责多、对教师负责少。有时放松了党性修养的要求，放松了对增强自我净化、自我完善、自我革新、自我提高能力的重视，放松了对保持党员先进性和纯洁性的追求。有时在追求物质享受等不良风气滋长的大环境影响下，产生了从众心理和攀比心理，随波逐流、思想滑坡，出现讲享受、讲待遇和讲面子、讲排场的现象。不能时时处处对照党员标准严格要求自己，八小时以内要求严格，八小时以外要求就相对放松，在单位上要求高，在社会上要求就比较低，言行举止还没有做到一以贯之。党性修养不强，思想就容易滑坡，精神就容易空虚，作风就容易松懈，一些问题就会随之而来。

4. 纪律执行还不够严格。对中央和省党委的各项政治纪律是坚决严格执行的，对中央和省党委的决策部署也是不折不扣落实的，但有时图一时轻松，简单开会发个文套个文头转发一下，对纪律和决策的落实情况缺乏比较硬的督促检查;有时存在畏难情绪，有的该执行的纪律坚持不够，有的该落实的决策执行不力，有时缺乏敢于担当的责任和勇气，没有同不良风气和行为作坚决的斗争，致使一些有关改进作风的规定和纪律没有完全执行到位。

5. 机制制度还不够完善。党员干部直接联系群众制度，畅通和拓宽群众诉求反映渠道制度，干部作风状况考核评价等机制都需要进一步完善细化。已有制度中，有的不适应新形势新任务新要求，有的存在针对性操作性不强的问题。有的经实践检验行之有效、群众认可的制度，又存在执行落实和检查评估不到位的问题。制度不完善、落实执行不力，也会导致脱离群众、作风不良。

三、努力方向和改进措施

经过以上自我剖析，本人在继续保持严谨、务实、坦诚、清廉的个人

作风的同时，接下来还应特别注意在以下几个方面改进和提高：

1、要进一步加强理论学习，多读书，提高丰富自己。工作要有创新，不搞形式主义，要以解决思想和工作中存在的实际问题为出发点，以改进自己的工作作风和工作方式、提高工作成效为落脚点，特别要在理论联系实际、指导实践上下真功夫，不断提高理论学习的效果，实现理论与实践相统一。

2、要进一步改进工作作风，不搞“官僚主义”，增强宗旨意识，树立无私奉献和艰苦奋斗的精神。要在管理上加强“精、严、细、实”，多走动，多深入班级、办公室;要牢固为教职工无私奉献的精神，把个人的追求融入党的教育事业中，坚持党的事业第一、教职工的利益第一;要保持思想道德的纯洁性，正确对待权力、金钱、名利，在生活上艰苦朴素，勤俭节约，不奢侈浪费，不追求享受;在工作作风上，要深入一线，联系教职工，倾听教职工意见;要努力做到善于克服消极思维、模糊认识所造成的各种束缚，破除急躁情绪，迎难而上，积极工作;善于从政治、全局的高度认识事物，不断完善和提高自己，脚踏实地的投入到工作中去，努力提高工作能力和服务水平。

3、要进一步保持清正廉洁，增强拒腐防变能力。在当前社会还存在腐败现象情况下，要有战胜自我的胆识和魄力，抗得起诱惑，耐得住寂寞，经得起考验，做到自重、自警、自省、自励，做到在拜金主义、享乐主义和极端个人主义的侵蚀面前一尘不染，一身正气;要加强道德修养，树立正确的利益观、荣辱观、道德观、人生观，追求积极向上的生活情趣，带头弘扬社会主义道德风尚，坚决抵制歪风邪气，始终做到清正廉洁，自觉与各种腐败现象作斗争，带头树立高度的责任感和敬业精神，尽心尽力把工作做好。

4、进一步加强班子和队伍建设。一是坚持坚持民主集中制，提高班子科学决策、民主决策的水平。强化集体领导观念，重大问题由集体讨论和决定。增强民主意识和民主作风，集思广益，博采众长。在决策前慎密论证，广泛征求意见，凝聚集体智慧，为科学决策提供正确的依据。同时，注重增进班子团结，班子成员之间坦诚相见，平等相待，友好相处，相互信任，相互支持，相互补充，努力打造一个“学习创新型”、“民主团结型”、“勤政为民型”、“清正廉洁型”的四好班子。二是认真落实中央“八项规定”、省党委“十条规定”，进一步转变作风，发扬“特别能吃苦、特别能奉献、特别有思想、特别能作为”的“四特精神”，切实履行好“教书育人”的神圣职责，努力把学校建设成为为民解忧的窗口，展示党和政府良好形象的窗口，推进和谐社会建设的窗口。三是加强教师队伍的培训、培养和教育，进一步建立完善政治理论学习和政策业务学习制度，培养和建设一支具有“信念坚定、为生服务、勤政务实、敢于担当、清正廉洁”的高素质教师队伍。

5.要进一步务实创新，增强工作实效。要坚持解放思想、实事求是、与时俱进，在科学理论的指导下，通过实现学习方式、工作理念、工作手段和工作机制的创新，最终达到工作成效的不断提高。要不断总结和完善工作经验，提出新思路、新方案，拿出新举措，开创工作新局面。

6. 切实加强党的建设和思想政治教育。充分发挥党支部的战斗堡垒作用和党员的先锋模范作用。认真坚持“三会一课”制度，加强党员干部的教育管理;认真解决发扬民主不够、正确集中不够、开展批评不够、严肃纪律不够等问题，坚持定期的组织生活会制度，把党员干部之间谈心交心活动制度化、经常化，鼓励党员干部互相找不足、提意见，讲真话、讲实话、讲心里话，开展积极健康的思想斗争。进一步发扬党的“三大作风”、“两个务必”、“八个坚持八个反对”优良作风，要使基层党组织服务群众、做群众工作制度化、常态化、长效化，把工作的重心转到服务发展、服务民生、服务基层、服务群众上来。

7.加强学校部门效能建设和制度建设。要坚持真抓实干、敢于担当、变革创新、务求实效的作风，坚决反对形式主义、官僚主义、享乐主义和奢靡之风;建立和完善听取群众意见、民主科学决策、项目经费管理、廉洁勤政规范、工作检查督办、绩效考核应用、工作效率评估、综合信息反馈等工作机制和制度，控制会议和文件，减少文山会海，提高工作效率。进一步完善学校各项规章制度，抓好原有制度规章的立改废工作，做到制度切实科学、可行、管用。不断加强师生的思想文化、精神文明建设，丰富师生的思想文化活动的方式和内容，关系师生生活，树立健康向上、风清气正的良好风尚。

8. 坚持勤奋学习，不断提高推进新课改能力。 按照上级党委的要求，坚持和完善相关学习制度。在坚持集中学习的基础上，合理安排自学时间，认真学习一系列重要文件精神，不断提高领导班子成员适应新形势、解决新问题的能力。着眼于新课程改革发展中的实际问题，把学习成果转化为谋划工作的思路、促进工作的方法，转化为推动党的执政能力和先进性建设的能力，全面提升教育管理水平。

9、坚持心系教师，切实解决危害教师健康的突出问题。我们充分考虑到老师是个良心活儿，保护教师的身心健康，是一切工作的出发点和落脚点，我们坚持让工会多开展丰富多彩的活动，提高教师的身体素质。转变作风，改进方法，想教师所想，急教师所急，采取有力措施，确保教师在担任繁重工作的同时，也能够身心快乐。

10、坚持求真务实，不断改进工作方法和工作作风。新形势之下，坚持发扬求真务实的精神，大兴调查研究之风，增强工作的责任感、使命感，克服浮躁情绪，全身心投入到教育事业之中去。敢于正视矛盾，直面困难，在努力开创新局面上下功夫。勇于改革创新，不断研究新情况，解决新问题，讲实话、办实事、求实效，深入实际，靠前指挥，努力把教育事业不断推向前进。提高工作效率，把抓落实作为工作重点，增强监督工作的针对性，下功夫把问题分析得深一些、透一些，把措施研究的具体一些、实在一些，推动各项工作取得实效。

11、坚持廉洁从政，正确行使党和人民赋予的权利。当前，我们要自觉加强党性修养，常修为政之德，常思贪欲之害，常怀律己之心，真正做到一身正气，一尘不染。自觉遵守党纪国法，严格执行领导干部廉洁从政的规定，时刻警惕权利、金钱的诱惑，防止手中的权力商品化、庸俗化。我本人不仅要做好，还要抓好领导班子一行人，要叮嘱他们切实加强对家属和身边工作人员的教育、提醒、约束，严格要求，带头发扬艰苦奋斗、勤俭节约的精神，带头反对铺张浪费和大手大脚，带头抵制拜金主义、享乐主义和奢靡之风。努力做到各项工作都勤俭节约，精打细算，严格把关。

12、坚持服务优先，不断增强班子的凝聚力和战斗力。作为一校之长，要强化领导班子的团结建设，坚持集体领导，民主决策，正确处理好集体领导与个人分工负责的关系，班子成员间相互协商、沟通，杜绝在工作中出现推诿扯皮的现象;强化领导班子的素质建设，不断加强班子成员的政治修养、道德修养、知识修养，提升班子的整体素质。班子成员要熟练掌握所分管工作的相关政策、业务知识，更好地为基层服务，为群众服务，进一步提高班子成员在基层和教师中的威信，密切党群、干群关系。

13、坚持率先垂范，努力成为领导作风建设的模范。坚持把领导干部作风建设作为党的作风建设的重点工作来抓，列入党建工作的重要议事日程。从制定规划、组织领导、制度保障、督促检查等方面入手，建立健全领导干部作风建设的领导机制和工作机制，明确班子成员抓作风建设的具体责任，树立“不抓作风建设是失职，抓不好作风建设是不称职”的观念，以身作则，严于律己，做出表率，用自己的模范行动带动和推动领导干部作风建设。

you may perhaps have some pleasant, thrilling, glorious hours, even in a poor-house. the setting sun is reflected from the windows of the alms-house as brightly as from the rich mans abode; the snow melts before its door as early in the spring. i do not see but a quiet mind may live as contentedly there, and have as cheering thoughts, as in a palace.the towns poor seem to me often to live the most independent lives of any. maybe they are simply great enough to receive without misgiving. most think that they are above being supported by the town; but it often happens that they are not above supporting themselves by dishonest means. which should be more disreputable.

cultivate poverty like a garden herb, like sage.do not trouble yourself much to get new things, whether clothes or friends. turn the old, return to them.

things do not change; we change. sell your clothes and keep your thoughts.

城镇中的穷人，我看，倒往往是过着最独立不羁的生活。也许因为他们很伟大，所以受之无愧。大多数人以为他们是超然的，不靠城镇来支援他们;可是事实上他们是往往利用了不正当的手段来对付生活，他们是毫不超脱的，毋宁是不体面的。

视贫穷如园中之花而像圣人一样耕植它吧!不要找新的花样，无论是新的朋友或新的衣服，来麻烦你自己。找旧的，回到那里去。

万物不变，是我们在变。你的衣服可以卖掉，但要保留你的思想。

Nowadays,owing to the convenience of transport ,more and more people feel like emigrating to foreign countries.Although it may be exciting to drop your family in a totally unfamiliar place,subsequently the problem appears.Which kind of people in the neighborhood do you long for ,the different race or the same? For me,I prefer the latter.The reasons are as follows.

Firstly,there is no doubt that most of the people tend to spend almost entire life in just one familiar city.They know every street,every corner and every store.If they have something repaired,they know the right place to go.But now,everything changes in the new place.So it is hard for emigrants to adjust in physiology and psychology.What is worse,there is even no friends who can provide enough support.In this situation,naturally the instinct drives them to live with others of their own ethnic background.Because the same race always means similar diet,similar language and habit.Under the circumstances,emigrants are able to adapt to the new environment easily.Otherwise,the conflict resulting from the complete contrast certainly arises.It results in the bad influence on the quality of life.That is what we do not want to confront.Why do we desire to emigrate? We just expect to lead a better life.

Secondly,the emigrants always go with the whole family including the elder.As we all know,after retirement,it is usually that the aged chat with each other about things in the past.For them,talking about trivialities is an essential and necessary way to enjoy themselves.However,assuming that persons around them are different ethnic in the new community,how can our parents or grandparents communicate with neighbors.After all,in accordance with the statistics,over seventy percent of the elder cannot speak foreign language especially in Asia.In addition,the fact that the majority of emigrants coming from Asia is well-known.Therefore,how to help the aged avoid loneliness is a serious problem which should be solved in time.I reckon that the best way is to live with people of the same race.Thus all old men benefit from the familiar language.Or,if they have nothing to do but to stay at home all the day,the harmony of the family will be affected sooner or later.

All in all,in my opinion,the more familiar,the better.So emigrants ought to live with others of their own ethnic background.
