The Yangzte River is the longest river in China. And its important and helpful to us Chinese. But these days the Yangtze River is bringing us serious floods.

Many villages were destroyed by floods. The floods made hundreds of millions of people lose their homes, relatives and friends. Many children cant go to school as usual .Now the foods have drawn the attention of the whole world. People from abroad have offered their help too. 有两个贫苦的樵夫靠上山捡柴糊口，有一天，他们在山里发现两大包棉花，两人喜出望外。棉花轻且贵，当下俩人各背了一包棉花赶路回家。

时间过得很快，转眼秋天来了，农民伯伯打算带它们出门，要将他们这些种子埋进泥土里。听到这个消息，麦卡非常的紧张，因为它已经迷恋上了这个家，它已经不想离开这个温馨的家，它害怕外面的风吹雨打，它不喜欢闷热潮湿的泥土压在它的身上，同时，它更不喜欢黑暗，想到长久面对黑暗，麦卡总是感觉到莫名的恐惧和害怕。于是，麦卡偷偷的躲在了窗台上，这个地方好，既不会被农民伯伯发现，还可以看到外边的世界，在这里，它可以看到院子里美丽的鲜花，马路上的汽车，还有远处弯弯的小河，这一切一切令它心里乐开了花。

冬天来了，麦卡看到它的兄弟姐妹还藏在泥土下，上面还盖着厚厚的白雪，心想，我的兄弟姐妹们呀，你们自投罗网，那里又冷又黑，真是个大傻瓜。

漫长的冬天总算过去了，春雨也开始淅淅沥沥的下，这时麦卡已经越来越瘦，力气也没有以前大，它感觉自己已经老了。有一天，它忽然看见，在雨儿的滋润下，它的兄弟姐妹们一个个都已经生根发芽，嫩绿的小手伸向天空，尽情的歌唱，尽情的挥洒，焕发出勃勃的生机，享受着春天爷爷的慈爱抚慰并一天天的长大。

麦卡终于后悔了，它流下了伤心的泪，它终于明白了：“花儿要在阳光下绽放，种子要在泥土里发芽”。在闭上眼睛的那一刻，它心里想：如果再给我一个机会，我也要将自己埋在土里，我也要生根发芽，我也要让生命开出灿烂的花……

The frogs and the well青蛙和井

Two frogs lived together in a marsh. One hot summer the marsh dried up, so they had to leave it and look for another place.两只青蛙住在沼泽里。在一个炎热的夏季，沼泽干涸了，因此他们不得不离开去寻找新的湿地。
