Last week, I saw a very impressive documentary about panda. A professor

studied panda in the early 1980s went to the wild life and kept trace of wild

giant panda for many years. As a result, he found that it was human being that

made these lovely animals die out. At that time, many people believed that giant

panda became less because of the low rate of newborn babies. But it was not

true. People cut trees for making profit at that time. Panda lose homeland and

they lacked of food. Thanks to these valuable data, the government took the

policy to protect the animals. So today, the number of giant panda is

increasing. People realize the importance of protecting the environment and it

is the best way to protect wild animals, they are the indispensable part of the

nature.

Today the quality of our natural environment has become an

important issue. The world population is rising so quickly that the world has become too crowded. We are using up our natural resources and at the same time polluting our environment with dangerous chemicals. If we continue to do this, life on earth cannot survive.

Concerned people have made some progress in environmental protection. Governments of many countries have established laws to protect the air, forests and sea resources and to stop environmental pollution.

Still more measures should be taken to solve environmental problems. People should be further educated to recognize the

importance of the problems, to use modern methods of birth control, to conserve(保存） our natural resources and recycle（再循环） our products. We are sure that we can have a better and cleaner place in the future.

在我们的生活中有这样的一种植物，它既没有花的芳香，也没有树的挺拔，还没有天的无垠，它只是一棵城市中普普通通、无人知晓的小草。曾经的它是最快乐的，悠扬的歌声不停的在它耳边回荡，曾经的它是最翠禄的，纤细的身影在路人眼前摇曳。然而，一场人类给予它们的灾难过后便打破了这美好的一切，这一切也都变了。

人类总是在为了现代化的城市建设，一而再、再而三的去破坏生活坏境，难道这是对的吗？曾经听到过这样的一个触目惊心的报告，目前由于人类向自然界过度的索取，已经导致了大自然对人类无情的报复：飓风、暴雨、大雪、洪涝、干旱、虫害、酷暑、森林大火、地震等灾情不期而至，全世界因干旱等原因而造成的迁移性难民预计到2025年将达到1亿人。看到这个报告你是不是会觉得人类的做法很荒谬？我想你会的。

再去看看我们生活的城市，人类对于自然界的破坏还少吗？

还记得那翠绿的小草吗？它不是一向都很坚强的吗？它不怕风吹雨打，不怕碾压重创，自从春风把它们唤醒，然后就坚强地从土里钻出来。从那刻起，哪怕是狂风暴雨疯狂般地向它袭来，它依然保持着它那大无畏的精神；哪怕死亡来临，它知道今天的死会带来明天小草的重生。所以，无论如何，顽强的小草总是微笑着面对一切。可是如今，它们却失去那昔日的欢欣，刚从土地里钻出来，就显示出满脸的忧愁，嫩叶上还有总会带着几道伤痕。是因为地上生灵在它们身上的碾压，还是恶劣的自然环境的重创？

我很伤感地告诉大家，都不是，是人类对不起它们。人类为何只顾想着自己的幸福去破坏它们的生活呢，它们究竟做错了什么而要为之付出这么大的代价？也许是它们不应该做城市中的一棵小草，不应该用自己的坚强去换取人类的一而再、再而三的犯错误。

楼房林立，硬化的道路不断蔓延，那些可爱的小草们就这样被永远地埋在种种人类制造的“灾难”下，不情愿地离开了这令它留恋的世界。

那些如此稚嫩、美好的生命就这样无情的结束了，我禁不住流下了伤心的眼泪。我们人类有一种不可推卸的责任:人口快速增长、土地过度开发、乱砍滥伐毁坏森林，植被遭到破坏，土地渐渐沙化。主宰万物的人类啊，我们应该从城市中那棵棵哭泣的小草的消逝中警醒：停止对大自然的盲目索取，把绿色和生命还给大自然，同时也是把生机与希望留给了我们自己，留给了我们的后人。
