Nian Gao is a sweet, sticky, brown cake made from rice flour and sugar, a kind of glutinous white cake in the shape of rectangle. Often given as a gift, it is delicious when steamed, fried, fried with eggs or even eaten cold.

大概要追溯至二十年前，我大约五岁，那时提起过年，我们差不多同龄的伙伴们高兴得就像一只顽皮的猫儿，在家中蹦蹦跳跳的，那股兴奋劲儿——简直像当上皇帝一般。

像我们那时的孩子，因为过年会有好吃的、好穿的、好玩饿，大一点的孩子更可以摆脱平日的“劳役”，因此会开心个不停。

或许怪那时的日子太过清贫，平日里要吃得上一顿好的是极不容易——吃得上肉的人家很少，一般人家除非是有贵客来的时候，孩子们才勉强可以解一解馋;或就是在走亲戚，“吃酒”的时候。那时候，寨里要是谁家有红白喜事，帮忙的大人总是带着孩子，并且趁人不注意把一两片豆腐或其他什么吃的塞在自己孩子的嘴里。

又或许是那时的生活过于枯燥，所以人们在玩的都比较简单，快乐也简单，但大家都很知足，生活平平常常的过，日子顺顺溜溜地流。那时过年，大人们总喜欢凑在一起玩纸牌，玩牌的方式简简单单：一副扑克变换着玩“上游”、“怪噜”、“三五反”之类，输了的就罚站或钻“板凳脚”。(我就是那时常跟在父亲身边问这问那的，现在还清晰记得那些玩牌的花样。)大家共娱共乐，输了牌却赢回快乐，大家都觉得自己是胜利者。

父亲喜欢在大年初一、初二的白天和晚上翻起民间手抄或刻印的《柳荫记》、《八仙图》之类的书唱个不停，他周围就围着妈和其他年轻年老的妇女，动情处大家唏嘘喟叹，有的还流眼泪，听不明白的时候大家就议论纷纷。我们那一带像父亲年龄差不多的男女都会“唱书”，几年前回家过春节还听父亲给妈唱了几段，很是动听。

对我而言，那时爸唱书的声音就是最好的音乐，所以对一些如“攒十字”、“莲花落”之类的唱腔至今还有印象。那时寨里有一台唯一的收音机，音乐从那个小东西里飘出——很悦耳，多是些“朝霞——啊——映在——阳城——湖上——”，偶尔也飘出“何日君再来”的感慨。但这种奢侈的声音我们很少听到，有时只是在较远处聆听。有收音机的那户人家很少放歌给我们听，一般要有客人来或过年的时候才能听到，更别说是亲自看看摸摸那“小家伙”了。我的记性一向很好，只要那家人放歌，我听一遍就能“哼唱”了。

那年头，寨里没有通电，收音机只能用干电池，舍得买电池的人家很少——别说用收音机了，就是用手电筒的人家也很少，我们家那时点的是煤油灯。用油灯灯芯也不敢做大，晚上睡得很早，一般晚饭后就洗脚熄灯就寝;有时熄灯后坐在火炉边听母亲讲“老熊婆”、“七姊妹”和其他的民间传奇或鬼故事。那时听鬼故事时尤其着迷，但一定用坐在爸和妈之间，不敢靠近门，生怕有个东西推门而入把我抓去。我哥不同，从小到大都不相信有鬼，晚上再怎么黑也敢出去解手——我那时最佩服他了!妹妹还在呀呀学语，只有哭的份，享受不到我听故事的高兴和怵悚。但不知怎的明明害怕，却用缠着妈一遍又一遍的讲，自己就一边听一边幻想一边害怕了。

至于玩的呢，就简单得过分了。除了“抓瞎猫”、“躲猫儿”或学唱花灯外再无其他花样，但那时过年，我们就成天跳来跳去，唱来唱去，变换着玩熟悉的游戏，快乐无穷。有时被大一点的孩子欺负，哭一阵鼻子，又笑眯眯地跟着玩去。

“过年”这一词在那时是什么概念?我只记得那种兴致了。以至以后长大在寨里老祖公那里听他“摆大传”，读那些《征东》、《征西》的几百部“大传书”都无法把儿时的记忆抹灭。

但这些年，从我九八年起异地求学直到工作数年后的今天，我对过年的兴致淡得很，真有“过年如过关”般艰难的感觉，真正感受到一个成年人的悲哀了。

要说这几年，要穿有穿，要吃有吃，要享受有享受，哪里不比儿时的条件强?家里不是早有了彩电、音响了吗?不是有三五好友常在一起把酒言欢吗?但总觉得少了些实在。

过年真正的快乐是属于孩子们的。但我对他们的玩法有些不一样的感触。很多孩子在家看套碟，对武侠大戏里的动作津津乐道，大一点的孩子们聚在一块玩着纸牌输压岁钱，也有凑在屋子里看大人们“砌方城”玩通宵的。

而我现在的娱乐也只是看看春节的电视节目和玩玩麻将了，偶尔对着麦克风唱几首歌。回家过年又有什么好玩的呢?不过是为了陪着双亲，一家人吃汤圆，一块看“春晚”，话话家常，如此的简简单单。只是给儿时给我唱书讲故事的父母一丝宽慰，让他们在年老的时候感受到全家团圆的满足——作为父母，或许他们每年的愿望不过如此，质朴而平凡。

但留在我们心上的无聊、死气、沉寂是过年的鞭炮声爆炸不去的。如果可以，我还是想去看“穆桂英大破天门阵”的乡土戏，听寨里的老人将“西游”、说“水浒”，听大叔的笛声，学着一两首新鲜的曲儿……只是如今事过经年，一切恍在梦中。

而今天，书还少吗?音 音乐还少吗?可就是没有那时的探求欲望了。

这就是长大的烦恼吧——也恰是我们这一代人的悲哀。

但我们还得回家过年，为久盼儿归的年迈、鬓白的双亲——为儿时给我唱书、讲故事的双亲。

当然，还为我们的孩子。

我又得思考，我该为他们做些什么了。

I had a great Chinese New Year.On the first day of the Chinese New Year,my parents and I visited my grandparents.They own a large ranch in the countryside,surrounded by corn fields and green pastry.It’s a very beautiful ranch and the air is very clean.I helped my grandparents feed the chicken and groom the horses.I really like horses and I spent quite some time riding them along the river for several miles.I enjoyed a lot at my grandparents’home.

春节是中国的传统节日，在这天我们要开开心心的。我们还要吃年夜饭，又称团圆饭，在远方的家人都要回家吃饭，团团圆圆的。

在春节到来之前，我和姐姐，姑姑去超市买年货。我和姐姐在超市里跑来跑去的，看到什么好吃的就拿到购物车里。好像两只小馋猫在超市里随便拿东西。我们拿了好多东西，有橡皮糖，巧克力，蛋卷，薯片等，都是好吃的。到结账的时候我们花了四百多元，姑姑心疼死了。我们两个嘴馋，春节还没有到来我们就开始吃零食了。

春节到了，哥哥，姐夫，爸爸都从远方过来和我们一起吃团圆饭。我姑姑烧了好多美味可口的菜，有牛肉，走油肉，虾，春卷等，还有我最喜欢吃的可乐鸡翅。人都齐了，我们碰过杯子就开始狼吞虎咽的吃了起来。哥哥说我很内向，其实我平时在家里都是生龙活虎的，只是一看见人多了起来，我就害羞了。今年我收了好多红包，姐姐工作了，奶奶把给姐姐的一份也给了我，好开心。

吃完了可口的饭菜，我和哥哥，姐姐，姐夫一起搓麻将。一开始他们都心不在焉的，一边搓麻将，一边玩手机。后来在姑姑的指导下，我连赢了好几盘，还有一次杠头开花，一人10元，他们开始紧张起来，手都开始抖了。先前他们还说要让我把收的那些红包都吐出来，现在能不输钱就好了。我们搓了一个下午的麻将，我赢了好多钱。

让人愉快又难忘的春节终于过去了，我心里除了开心还是开心。一年只有一次真是太不过瘾了。真希望天天都是春节。

春节有很多让人高兴的事情。最让我高兴的就是我和弟弟去楼下放鞭炮。

记得大年三十的晚上，我们吃完团圆饭，我和弟弟像飞一样地跑了下去，到了小花园中，我就琢磨着怎样更好玩。终于，我们想出了一个好主意，弟弟用一根铁棒将土挖开，然后，我将一个点燃的“地雷”扔了进去，弟弟快速地把土埋上。然后，我们就躲到一棵大树后面，等我们还未完侍藏好，只听见后面“嘭!”的一声巨响，我和弟弟身上都有是泥，我们先是吓得一怔，然后被彼此的模样乐地“哈哈”大笑。就这样一次，两次，三次……，一直到我们手中的炮放完，而我们也变成“泥娃娃”了，才停下来。接着，我们又放了冲天炮，老鼠炮……。我们最喜欢的是老鼠炮，它飞出去的时候还“吱吱”地发出声响。就像是在说：“我要上天!我要上天?? 笨砂?痔云?

在新年的钟声就要敲响之际，黑暗的天空中开始到处燃放起了烟火，看那五彩缤纷的烟花在夜色中像一朵朵鲜花竞相绽放，我和弟弟都兴奋得在那里大喊大叫了起来……

春节，是孩子们玩的日子，还是大人们访亲探友的日子。妈妈带着我走东家、窜西家，与亲朋好友渡过了不少美好的时光。

春节，多么令人难忘啊!
