Ah! Christmas morning! But almost no one I know gets completely dressed or eats a regular breakfast first thing Christmas morning. They just put on a robe or wear their pajamas and go to see whats under the Christmas tree. Someone will begin to take the presents out from under the tree, see whose name is on the package, and then pass them around. There are many "thank you" to the ones who gave the gifts, new clothes are tried on to see if they fit, and of course the most interesting toys will immediately be played with.

Usually among the Christmas gifts will be some especially delicious candy or cake or cookies which everyone tastes. These sweet things may be the only breakfast many people eat Christmas morning. After the gifts have been opened, the room will be tidied up except where the children are playing with their toys. Everyone will wash and get dressed for the day.

Some people may go to a Christmas morning church service around ten oclock if their church didnt have one on Christmas Eve. But most people will just watch TV. Well, most men will. The children may play outside or inside with their new toys, but the mothers will be in the kitchen preparing Christmas Dinner.

2、交通低碳：

在您开车外出时，尽量避免冷车启动、减少怠速时间、尽量避免突然加速、选择合适挡位、避免低挡跑高速、用黏度最低的润滑油、定期更换机油、高速驾驶时不要开窗、轮胎气压要适当。购买低价格、低油耗、低污染，同时安全系数不断提高的小排量车。多步行或骑自行车，乘坐轻轨或者地铁。经常在网络、电视上购买物品，从而减少出门购物的次数，如果开车出门购物，请有计划购物，尽可能一次购足。

The first day for me to go to high school, I felt so excited, because I came into the new stage of my life. The school asked the students to live in the dormitory, so I had to move out and left my parents. This was such a big challenge for me, because I never left home before. Living in a city has both advantages and disadvantages. It is often easier to find work. There are always many choices of public transport. Besides, there are a lot of interesting things to do and places to see. You can eat in good restaurants, visit museums, go to cinemas and go to parks whenever you want to relax. However, living in a city is often very expensive. You must find a well-paid job, otherwise, you will not be able to afford the things you will do. Whats more, the city is always crowded, noisy and dirty. It is very difficult to find a good place where people can enjoy peace and fresh air as in the countryside.

有一天，我梦见自己回到久违的故乡。天空蔚蓝极了，那是一种深遂辽阔的蓝。两三朵白云悠然挂在天上，沉静而优美。飘然行走在行人稀少凹凸不平的山间小路上，遥看山下平原上的麦浪像丝绸一样飘动;我贪婪地呼吸着山风里充满的青草气息，兴奋地对着远处大声的呼喊——“我来了”……。梦醒了，可我依然执著地享受着梦的澄静、自由，我向往那份诗意，或许是在城市生活太久，对钢筋水泥的拥抱和车水马龙的喧闹本能排斥的缘故吧。有时我在想，作为一个诗的国度，当我们的城市走向无限繁荣的时候，我们的生活的确需要一些诗意来表达。

On the weekend I like to spend time in library. I like reading books. There

are many people in the library, but it is very quiet. Nobody talks in the room,

only the sound of page turning. I’m very interested in the space, so I read a

lot of books about space. Recently, I read the book Martian. It is about an

astronaut Mark left on the Mars alone, he did many things to keep himself alive.

After 549 solar days his crew mates came back to take him home. Mark is very

tough to survive in Mars, he is a big hero. In the library I can read so many

story and see the bigger world. I like library.

n my understanding, if we refer to an ideal college life as a formal western dinner, then a high GPA, that is, Grade Point Average, should be the main course, while an active part in activities, together with associations, means the appetizer. Some romances, of course, play the role as desserts. They are the 3 key elements for an ideal college life.

Those, however, are not what college life is all about. As we all know, college is wildly different from middle school. It connects not only adolescence to adulthood, but also the ivory tower to the real society. Therefore, the ideal college life is that I become matured both physically and mentally, and that I obtain qualified academic knowledge and get well prepared for society at the same time.

Under this circumstance, I never expect my college life to be too ideal, or you can call it too perfect. It is not realistic to make all things on my own way, with everyone liking me, winning the first prize all the time, and so on. Of course, I’d like to lead a carefree life. However, this does little good to my future. What really helps is hardships like failure, betrayal, and unjust treatment. Only after experiencing those can I know what society is like, and what life is like.

To conclude my speech, I wanna say, some positive experiences are surely part of the ideal college life. But, I should not forget about the negative sides. They are not less necessary.

Summer can be very hot in southernxx where the temperature usually goes up to 32"C or more. Because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. Also because of this I stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky. Actually I like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. In the summer vacation that has just ended I went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. This summer vacation, however, was not spent entirely in seeking fun. As a second-year senior student I had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were only a year away. In other words, I must find time to study, too. So I divided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.

I spent this summer vacation in quite a different way. I used to run about every day in previous summer vacations, but this summer vacation I simply could not afford to do so. I would soon be in the last year of my high-school education and would after graduation be up against the college entrance examinations. Though those examinations were still a year away, I had to start early to make myself well prepared by reviewing all those things I had learned at school and this summer vacation was the ideal time for me to do this. At first I was rather dismayed at the thought of this, but later I thought it was better this way because by working hard this summer I could count on endless happy summers to come. With this in mind I then set to work like anything and only occasionally went out for a change or did some physical. I was not at all bored by this kind of life, for I was sustained by a hope.

The summer vacation had come round again. I was happy that I could forget about school at least for a while. Lest I fool around all through this summer vacation, I made a plan as to how to spend it. First, I thought I should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that I could have a better understanding of them. Then I thought I should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running and rowing, to keep me physically strong. It stood to reason that with such a good plan I should make the best of my vacation time. I did, because I lived up to what I had planned.

How time flies！ It has been three years since I came to the school。 My school is beautiful and there are many beautiful flowers and trees。 The teachers are so kind though there is always too much homework。 My classmates are all very friendly to each other。 We always help each other。 I have learned a lot from them and made a lot of friends。 I enjoy my school life。 However， I dont do well in math。 I’ll try my best to study math during the summer holidays。 Now Im going to say goodbye to my teachers and classmates。 Ill miss my school life。

Today is teachers day, because mother filled too late yesterday, so I didnt give the teacher a gift it is a holiday today, the in the mind a bit sad, see other students have to prepare gifts, I think this time Im sorry, next time to prepare gifts for the teachers.
