Healthful eating is also easier than ever now. When people cook, they use new fat substitutes and cooking sprays to cut fat and calories. This reduces the risk of heart disease and high cholesterol. Additionally, we can buy fruits and vegetable fresh, frozen or canned. They are easy to prepare, so many of us eat more of those nutritious items daily. A hundred years ago, you couldn’t imagine the process of taking some frozen fruit and ice from the freezer, adding some low-fat yogurt from a plastic cup and some juice from a can in the refrigerator, and whipping up a low-fat smoothie in the blender!

Our lifestyle is fast, but people still like good food. What new food preparation technology has given us is more choices. Today, we can prepare food that is more convenient, healthier, and of greater variety than ever before in history.

惊喜之余，我将这盆小草视若珍宝。轻洒几番雨露之后，它们长势一片大好。此后的一段时间，我一边照料这几株可敬的生命，一边勤加练习，积极备考。是啊，如此柔弱的生命遭受那么大的困难尚且还能顽强不屈，我又怎能轻言放弃呢?

That was spectacular. Tonight, the world was able to join in a magnificent tribute to the athletes and the Olympic spirit. It was an unforgettable and moving ceremony that celebrated the imagination, originality and energy of the Beijing Games.

We saw 204 national delegations march into the beautiful new National Stadium in the age-old tradition of the Games. Millions of people around the world were able to experience the thrill of seeing their heroes in a sea of team colours and national flags.

We witnessed athletes from these 204 countries and territories united in peace in one place. And for the next 16 days, they will be a part of one of the most thrilling competitions in history. As an Olympian, I can tell you that they will carry this memory with them forever.

This iconic stadium is one of the worlds new wonders. It was a fitting setting for an amazing Opening Ceremony, I look forward to an equally exciting and unforgettable 16 days.

“新的学期，新的开始！”蓝天一边寻找着高一四班的教室一边对自己说“我一定要努力地学习，三年后川大的土木工程在等我呢！”

于是，两个初中时代的好朋友开始了他们漫长的寻找教室之旅……

在全班同学的注视下，两人慢悠悠地走到了最后的位置。一看之下才知道，原来这个班有八十多个学生。黑压压第一片。而且还有不少认识的同学。“哎！猴哥，还有不少认得到的哦！”猴哥看了一眼蓝天疑惑地说“锤子哦！哪里？我看到好多美女哦！”一提美女蓝天倒是来了精神“是不是哦？”猴哥撇着嘴，用眼神示意道“看那边的那个！巴适！”初中时两人就有默契，顺着他的目光，蓝天看到靠教室左边窗户的第三排“嗯，是有点漂亮，下课后你去打听下叫啥子名字。”两个祖国栋梁之才的目光在全班扫视着，点评着班上的美女们，分析着谁该整容，谁该去当明星。美好的时间在深沉的讨论中度过……

“嘿！钢盔！你还是在这个班上啊？”蓝天给初中三班的同学打招呼。

“嗯，你还是在啊？去不去踢球？我们准备去踢球耍。”被蓝天叫做钢盔的那个男生回过头来对他说“我们班的几同学都在那里等到了。”蓝天想了一下，“算了，我没的鞋（球鞋）的，再说猴哥在外面等我。我们去打台球。”看着钢盔离去的背影，蓝天一溜烟跑到公共厕所后面。“哈哈，现在哪个还走校门哦！丢分！”说着就助跑两步，右脚在墙上一用力。整个人很麻利地就上了墙，然后轻松地跳下……一看就知道是“惯犯”了。“唉……好久没有翻过了。身手不灵活了啊！”蓝天摇头道。

猴哥一见蓝天来了，“咋才来哦！台子都没的了！只有等了！”蓝天跑过来一看，几张球桌都围满了人“那有啥子办法呢？老子还打‘飞的’过来的，都赶不上。有锤子办法啊！”在等了一个小时后终于空桌了。两人高兴地冲了过去……

时间就在蓝天和猴哥的台球生活中迎来了期末考试……

“叮、叮……”

高中阶段第一次大型的考试就落下了帷幕。蜂拥而出的学生把走廊堵住了。“猴哥，看哇！老子说提前交卷的，你要等到考试完了才出来！现在安逸了？这么挤！”蓝天非常不满地说道。“锤子哦！今天老猪监考，敢走哦？”一听猴哥提起老朱（班主任：朱真强），蓝天便没了语言了。在这学期里面，这哥俩可没少被老朱收拾。一次，两人因为扰乱班级上课次序，被老朱送进了办公室。关禁闭一星期。而后两人在老朱的“密切关注”下生活，……

一礼拜以后……

“今天期末考试的成绩出来了，结果令人很不满意……”老朱在讲台上进行着他的长篇大论。教室最后一排蓝天和猴哥也在做着总结。“猴哥，看来高中的东西也没什么大不了的。我们这学期连课都没听过，只小看了一下书。居然都还是四十几名！”“嗯。就是，不过我们下学期要专心了，要不然高二就恼火了！”“嗯，对的！必须要认真了。”然后，两人和前排的菲哥摆起了龙门阵……。“蓝天！猴子！下课后到我办公室来！”突然间，宛如冬天里被泼了一盆凉水。天啊！是老朱的召唤！

“你喊你们屋头来不？”蓝天沮丧地问。

“咋不喊呢？要不然等下老猪的电话又打到我们屋头去了。你呢？”猴哥一脸无奈地说。

“喊锤子哦，我说我们屋头没人的！”蓝天说，一想到因为考试被请家长，而且必须要家长来领通知书，蓝天心里就没底了。

when i was in high school, I had to study all the time and hardly had spare time to do what i wanted to.Besides, I had to focus on my textbooks and doing exercise again and again. It can be seen that after obtaining great deal of wealth, rich people in China are obviously pursuing a better living condition, either for their children or themselves. So the question is raised that will this emigration affect China negatively. I say yes, but not as seriously as many think.

China witnessed two migration tides before, one in the late70’s, another early 90’s.From these two, the nowadays migration differs in some aspects. The emigrants are no longer poor students only with a resolution to bring back to their motherland cutting edge science and technology overseas, instead they wave goodbyes to China taking with them substantial wealth and many of them are still top-notch intellectuals. It is almost certain that, from this perspective, emigration will undermine China on the way to her rise. However, in my perspective of view, this kind of migration will in some way make China much more influential in the world. The current western world still knows China too little, especially in terms of common citizens. Several decades later, these Indian emigrants still keep in bond with their motherland, and improve the image of Indians, thus lift the status of India in the world.
