As we know, many people favor the idea that the college life is free and

comfortable, but I’d like to say it’s not true. As a matter of fact, my life in

university is so busy that I wonder if my energy is enough. As to my college

life, I divide it into four parts, including study, student activities, library

and the others.

Firstly, I want to talk about the study. In my opinion, study is the

priority in college. When I received the letter of admission in summer, I knew

.When I’m sad, lost or in trouble, staying the library makes me quiet and

comfortable. After all, every life has bad moments as well as good ones, and the

library for me is a support in bad moments. So it’s wise choice for me to stay

in the library.

Finally, I often do other things in my spare time. In order to alleviate

parents’ burden, I often do some part-time jobs and write some articles to earn

money. It helps me to be independent and improve my social skills.

In short, my life in university is busy but valuable. You can see that

study brings me knowledge, student activities improve myself, library changes my

horizons, the others things make me independent. They get all my abilities

trained. And I see that the chance will come only if you have a prepared mind,

so I’m sure that I can achieve my dreams in college life.

学校组织的“12。9”诗歌朗诵比赛要在下周星期五隆重举行，我们的班主任周老师推举我作为学校小学部的代表参加比赛。我得知后那是相当的兴奋和激动，因为我从来没有上过这么大的舞台。但是在爸爸妈妈以及老师的大力帮助下，我还是得到了第二名。我想这就是我一次非常难忘的课余生活吧！

老师给我朗诵的题目是舒婷写的《祖国啊，我亲爱的祖国》，在家里妈妈耐心的教我认识生字，教我如何掌握节奏，教我如何读出语感，教我如何配合音乐，教我如何做动作；爸爸则马上去打稿子，又去借文件夹；而我呢就埋头苦读，按照妈妈的要求来朗读。第一遍朗读没有感情，第二遍没有节奏感，我又试了第三遍，第四遍……练得我是口吐青烟，喉咙都要说哑了。但我却越练越有精神，越练越起劲，而效果就越来越明显了。

在头一天的晚上，妈妈又给我借来“小蜜蜂”扩音器，我按照老师的指点，在爸爸妈妈的鼓励下又练习了几遍，我的紧张慢慢消退，变得就自信多了，爸爸妈妈脸上也露出了笑容。

第二天，诗歌朗诵比赛终于开始了，我梳了个大辫子，穿了件整洁的衣服，戴上了红领巾，手里抱着文件夹，戴着“小蜜蜂”，大步流星的走上了舞台……

在新年来临之际，家家户都要包饺子来庆祝新年。今年的大年三十，我不仅尝到了美味的饺子，还亲自过了一会包饺子的乐趣。

大年三十晚上，爸爸和妈妈在厨房里忙着包饺子的，我溜进厨房，看见爸爸正在和面，妈妈正在准备饺子馅，我说：“妈，让我也试试吧。”妈妈看见我点点头，表示同意了。我高兴极了，因为我就要学包饺子了！妈妈拿起擀面杖给我做示范，只见妈妈左一下右一下，一个个又薄又圆的饺子皮就成了，我一看，心想：原来这么简单。看我的吧！我胸有成竹的接过擀面杖，学着妈妈的样子一手拿着面团一手推动擀面杖开始了，不料面却粘在擀面杖上，弄了好半天手上面板上都成面了，真烦人！妈妈看着我焦急的样子笑着说：“要撒点面粉才能不粘，但也不能撒太多否则就不好包了。”妈妈又给我讲了许多要领，并耐心的指导。我尽量按着妈妈说的去做，可刚开始擀出来的还是四不像，看着妈妈那么不厌其烦的教我，我想：我绝不能气馁！经过反复操练，我越擀越熟练的了。看着圆圆的饺子皮在我的擀面杖下快速飞舞，心里充满了成就感，我心里别提多高兴了的！

擀好了面皮，该包饺子了。我兴致勃勃地拿起面皮加上馅照着大人的样子包了起来，可饺子馅好像成心与我闹别扭似的，一个劲儿往外跑。我站到妈妈身边想看看妈妈是怎样包的，却看见妈妈把硬币放在馅里包进饺子里，感到好奇怪。就问妈妈是干什么的，妈妈告诉我，谁要是吃到这个饺子，他就会在新的一年里有好运。为了能吃到这个饺子，我迫切希望能把饺子赶快包好。我回到了自己的位置上，耐心的琢磨着，思索着。终于，“功夫不负有心人”，经过了一番努力的学习，我终于学会了包饺子，我用手不经意的擦了擦头上的汗，却弄得一脸面粉，变成了一只小花猫的。

饺子熟了！妈妈端上了热气腾腾的饺子，我吃着自己的劳动成果，心里美滋滋的。虽然包饺子遇到了许多困难，但是我学会了包饺子，也值得的。

这就是包饺子的乐趣，我体会到了：只要我们坚持不懈，克服了所有困难后，我们才能成功。

I was born in a small village, so that my childhood mostly spent in countryside. Althought the condistions were not so good, my childhood was happy and interesting.

At that time, we didnt have much money to buy toies. Therefore, almost all of my toies were made by myselfe or my mates.

Sometimes, my father would make some toies for me. Besides, because my parents were busy with their farmwork, I usually helped them do some work after school, especially the housework.

Knowledge can be acquired from many sources. These include books, teachers

and practical experience, and each has its own advantages. The knowledge we gain

from books and formal education enables us to learn about things that we have no

opportunity to experience in daily life. We can study all the places in the

world and learn from people we will never meet in our lifetime, just by reading

about them in books. We can also develop our analytical skills and learn how to

view and interpret the world around us in different ways. Furthermore, we can

learn from the past by reading books. In this way, we won’t repeat the mistakes
