记得第一次读时，独到老人与海鸥如亲人一般时，我的心里像是被一把大锤狠狠地砸了一下，是啊!动物是那么怕人，对人那么怀有抵触心理，竟然能与人亲如一家。是多么的不可思议啊!记得我在爬山时遇到一只白鸽，那是，我十分喜欢它，忍不住凑上前，想用手摸一摸它柔顺的羽毛，亲昵的将它抱入怀中，我并无恶意，我刚走两步，白鸽就飞走了。由此看来动物对人是多么不信任啊!可文中却说的是海鸥自己飞来吃食，多么不可思议，若不是文中那么写，我是无论如何都不会相信的。看着文中的文字，想象着老人与海鸥快乐、开心的神情我心中没有别的，只有对这种信任的憧憬和羡慕，是啊!这是多么美好的场面啊!

当我读到老人去世海鸥送别的情景，我哭了，为老人而哭，为海鸥而哭，更为海鸥与老人的友谊而哭!这时，海鸥心里一定是很伤心、难过的吧!它们竟冒着被人抓的生命危险去为老人送行，这份珍贵的感情恐怕只此一例吧!老人知道了也一定很欣慰吧!和人一样，动物也有自己的爱憎，自己的情怀。海鸥与老人这份真挚的友谊，连人与人之间也极少极少，难道不可赞可叹?

保护动物吧!动物与人是平等的，这个世界也属于它们，他们也有感情，甚至有我们没有的感情。

The First Day in New Term

Today is September 3rd, the first day of the new semester. I am happy to see all of my classmates come back to school. Today is the first day for school, so we get our new textbooks. 昨天放学时，天气非常炎热，我下楼没看见爷爷，就借同学手机打了个电话，然后我等了几分钟，爷爷就来了。

我上了车一边与爷爷闲聊，一边看着路边的风景。

突然我看到公路上有一个毛茸茸的小东西，是老鼠吗？怎么可能，怎么可能有这么大的老鼠，我又仔细看了看，这小东西正摇着它那蓬松的大尾巴，呀！是松鼠！太神奇了，居然在大马路上看见了松鼠。它好像要过马路似的左顾右盼的，好像不怕人，我们电瓶车走过，也没有引起它的恐慌。这时一辆路虎朝它飞驰而来，我心里一阵担忧，心跳顿时加快，仿佛有什么大事情要发生似的。一瞬间这辆路虎飞快超过我们，也穿过了这只松鼠，一声清脆的咔嚓声传入我的耳膜，是那样的惊天动地，我看着松鼠在半空中翻了几圈又啪的一声掉在路上，就一动也不动，一点生息也没有了。顿时一种莫名的悲伤涌上了我的心头。为一个鲜活的生命逝去而痛心。
