The first thing we can do is to use cloth bags in stead of plastic bags when we go shopping. It helps to protect the environment. The second thing we can do is to reuse the old textbooks as possible as we can. We should also never forget to turn off the lights when we leave the classrooms in order to save energy. Whats more, it would be better if we walk or ride a bike to school. We should try our best reduce pollution and waste.

记得前几年，老家门前有一条河，朝河里望去，一眼就看到许多垃圾，塑料袋，各种废品，生活垃圾，很难想象这是一条河。原本翠绿色的河水，完全变成了灰黑色，散发着难闻的气味。这种现象是因为未经处理的工业废水、生活污水、农田排水，以及其他有害物质，直接或者间接进入河流，超过河流的自净能力，引起水质恶化和生物群落变化。有许多河流在这样的污染下，不再是清澈见底，并且各种怪味弥漫。但是这几年，政府部门进行了环境治理，控制了污水的排放，河岸用石砖砌好，并种上了许多树木。经过两三年的努力，河水明显变得清澈了，也能看到鱼儿或者鸭子在水里嬉戏玩耍，偶尔还有一些清闲的人来这里钓鱼。每天清晨，更有村子里的男女老少，来河边儿锻炼，或走上两圈儿。从这之后，我们整个村子的人都设法保护着这条河，让她变得清澈美丽。

前几年，雾霾也经常出现，尤其早晨起来，看见的空气是灰沉沉的，初升的太阳也是那么弱小无助，时而出现，时而不见，运动和呼吸都让人觉得无比压抑。雾霾还会诱发各种疾病，例如心血管疾病、咽喉炎、肺气肿、哮喘、鼻炎、支气管儿炎等等。雾霾是因为人们不保护环境，大气被严重污染后产生的空气垃圾。雾霾对我们的影响非常巨大，那么如何防治雾霾呢？这就要我们从保护环境入手，我在这里和同学们说几条建议：

1、不要乱扔垃圾，尽量按照垃圾分类回收分开处理。

2、多多步行或者骑车，尽量少开私家车，绿色出行。

3、尽量减少一次性物品的使用。

4、爱护花草，多种树木。

5、学习生活中，要勤俭节约，不要浪费，包括纸张，铅笔等等用具。

6、以身作则，宣传和带动大家一起保护环境。

保护环境的标语在生活中经常见到，尤其是公园内，更是随处可见，这些标语都在宣传和提醒着我们，要时时刻刻保护环境，也是在保护地球。我们虽然还是小学生，有些大事做不了，但是保护环境这个大事，我们却可以认真的从小做起，任何一个保护环境的行为都是事关未来的大事。

善待地球就是善待我们人类自己，保护地球就是保护我们的未来。让我们共同携手，还鸟儿一个湛蓝的天空，让它们展翅飞翔；还鱼儿一条清澈的河流，让它们自由戏水；还动物一丛幽深的森林，让它们追逐狂奔。让每种生物都能在美好的地球上和谐的生活着。

漠阳江是我们阳春的母亲河,河岸两边郁郁葱葱,生机勃勃。河水更是清澈见底,经阳光一照,波光粼粼,闪闪烁烁,令人目眩。水中的鱼儿欢快的追逐着,嬉闹着,不时交头接耳,窃窃私语。春天的早晨,人们漫步在漠阳江两岸,欣赏着河岸两边的风景。

然而,就是这条曾经给人们带来温馨和快乐的漠阳江,如今却一改往日的面容,变得丑陋了。河面漂浮着垃圾,人还没有走到河水跟前,一股恶臭扑鼻而来,让人不得不迅速掩鼻跑开。野草代替了往日鲜艳的小花朵儿,两岸的树木像一个个驼背老人,垂头丧气的。

是什么原因使原本清澈见底的漠阳江变成这番模样的呢?通过调查了解才知道,原来是一些居民、工厂和一些单位缺乏环保意识,居民们太懒惰,不肯走远点把垃圾丢到垃圾池里去,而是把垃圾都丢在漠阳江两岸。工厂排出的废水全部都流入了漠阳江。经过这番折腾,清澈见底的河水怎么经得起这么肮脏的污染呢?我异常的震撼,漠阳江?g我们阳春的母亲河啊!阳春居民们怎么会忍心伤害“母亲”的呢?

水域污染直接威胁人们的健康,为了河水不再受污染,为了人们的健康,让我们每一个人都行动起来吧!保护环境,人人有责!让我们一起来用行动来表示我们的爱国之情。

我曾经在书上看到过这样一幅画：一只老虎哭丧着脸，表情忧郁的坐在山坡上，旁边插了一个说明牌：“为了生存，特将屁股供人玩摸，每次伍元。”老虎周围的树都被砍伐了，只留下一个个光秃秃的树墩，树墩上的年轮无情地暴露在外面，而四周土地也十分荒凉。

俗话说：“老虎屁股摸不得。”老虎为了生存，放下了尊严，做着最后的反抗，却仍旧换不回从前的家园。当家园失去，尊严在生存面前已变得一文不值。人们口口声声要保护大自然，保护动物，还放生了动物园里的一些动物，但是不久之后，它们却被做成“貂皮大衣”。

人们将一些动物列入“濒危动物”，甚至将它们放在舒适的“玻璃牢”里养起来。现在的森林中，动物数量减少，树木也不茂盛，只有几颗高大的松树在勉强维持着所谓“森林”的原貌。人们一边声称要保护动物，却又一边猎杀它，破坏它们的家园，砍伐树木，这样的保护是真的保护吗？

这种建立在他人痛苦之上的快乐，根本就不会让人感到开心，如果我们是动物，看着自己的家园被别人破坏，自己昔日的伙伴被人猎杀，心里会怎么想呢？

如果，人们能停止对生态的破坏，停止对环境的污染，这样，不就是对动物最好的的保护，最好的爱护吗？

Someone said “we are reading the first verse of the first chapter of a

book, whose pages are infinite”. I don’t know who wrote these words, but I’ve

always liked them as a reminder that the future can be anything we want it to

be. We are all in the position of the farmers. If we plant a good seed ,we reap

a good harvest. If we plant nothing at all, we harvest nothing at all.

一些人说“我们正在读一本无穷的书中的第一章的第一节。”我不知道谁写了这些话，但是我一直很喜欢它，因为它提醒了我，我们能够创造我们想要的未来。我们都是农夫。如果我们播下好的种子，我们将会丰收。如果我们的种子很差，有很多草籽，收割的将是无用的庄稼。如果我们什么也不播种，什么收获也没有。

We are young. “How to spend the youth?” It is a meaningful question. To

answer it, first I have to ask “what do you understand by the word youth?” Youth

is not a time of life, it’s a state of mind. It’s not a matter of rosy cheeks,

red lips or supple knees. It’s the matter of the will. It’s the freshness of the

deep spring of life.

我们是年轻的。“怎样度过青春?”这是个有意义的问题。为了去回答它，我首先要问“从‘青春’这个词中你能理解到什么?”青春不是人生的一个时期，而是精神的一种状态。青春不是桃面、丹唇、柔膝，而是深沉的意志，。青春是生命的深泉在涌流。

A poet said “To see a world in a grain of sand, and a heaven in a wild

flower, hold infinity in the palm of your hand, and eternity in an hour. Several

days ago, I had a chance to listen to a lecture. I learnt a lot there. I’d like

to share it with all of you. Let’s show our right palms. We can see three lines

that show how our love.career and life is. I have a short line of life. What

about yours? I wondered whether we could see our future in this way. Well, let’s

make a fist. Where is our future? Where is our love, career, and life? Tell

me.Yeah, it is in our hands. It is held in ourselves.

一位诗人说“从一粒沙看世界，从一朵花看天堂，把无限放在你的手掌，永恒在一刹那里收藏”。几天前，我有了一个听讲座的机会，从中我学到了很多东西。现在，我想把这些与大家共享。让我们伸出右手，我们可以看到手掌中的展示我们的爱，事业和生活的三条线。我在生活方面这条线很短，那你们的呢?我想知道我们是否可以用这种办法去看我们的未来。好的，让我们一起握拳。我们的未来在哪儿?我们的爱、事业和生活在哪儿?告诉我!是的，它们就在我们的手中。它们被我们自己掌握着。

We all want the future to be better than the past. But the future can go

better itself. Don’t cry because it is over, smile because it happened. From the

past, we’ve learnt that the life is tough, but we are tougher. We’ve learnt that

we can’t choose how we feel, but we can choose what about it. Failure doesn’t

mean you don’t have it, it does mean you should do it in a different way.

Failure doesn’t mean you should give up, it does mean you must try harder.

我们所有人都希望未来能比过去更美好，但是未来能自己变得更好。不要因为结束而哭泣，微笑吧，为你的曾经拥有。从过去来看，生活是艰苦的，但我们是更坚强。我们知道我们不能选择感觉，但是我们能选择和它相关的东西。失败并不意味着你不拥有成功，它只意味着你应该用另一种方式去做这件事。失败并不意味着你应该放弃，只意味着你应该更加努力。

As what I said at the beginning, “we are reading the first verse of the

first chapter of a book, whose pages are infinite”. The past has gone. Nothing

we do will change it. But the future is in front of us. Believe that what we

give to the world, the world will give to us. And from today on, let’s be the

owners of ourselves, and speak out “We are the world, we are the future.”

正如我在前面所说的“我们正在读一本无穷的书中的第一章的第一节。”过去的已经过去，无论我们无力改变，但是未来却在我们前方。相信“我们给了世界什么，世界也将给我们”。并且从今天起，让我们一起做我们自己的主人，一起大声说出“世界是我们的，未来是我们的。”
