To witness immoral behavior in public, one need only visit the Beijing subway. I still remember the first time I took the Beijing subway. It was an early morning. I was in a hurry to go to school. When I was trying to get a ticket, I found a lot of people waiting in front of me, but nobody was in the line.

绕过水立方，就是体育馆，不知有多少体育健将和资深教练，曾在这里驻足，也不知有多少运动员的心血，曾在这儿流淌，创造出了奥运奖牌第一、金牌第一的伟大壮举，它犹如广场中的麟龙塔象征着我们中华之辉煌向着世界之巅直上云天。

到了晚上更是热闹非凡。、

鸟巢里灯光把整个体育场照的通红，好似一只雏凤即将破巢而出，翅膀卷起了熊熊火焰。水立方也并不示弱，将内部的彩灯也打在它那如水晶般晶莹透彻的墙壁上，整个水立方顿时变得金碧辉煌，绽放出奇光异彩。广场中央许多老年人成群结队的跳起舞来，小孩则在一起互相嬉戏。好不热闹。

带着一堆纪念品，我们回到了大哥家，结束了来到北京的第一天。

今年暑假，我终于踏上了北京之旅的路程，一睹故宫风采。

我国素有文明之邦的美称，首都北京，更是一个中外闻名，历史悠久的古城。其中，北京的故宫，常常吸引国内外的游客前来游赏风观光，多么令人神往!

我们乘旅游车向故宫前进，一路上，导游就向我们介绍故宫：故宫是明清两朝皇帝的宫殿。从明朝永乐五年(1470)起，聚集了全国的匠师，征用了二三十万的军工和民工，用了14年时间，建成可这组宏大的宫殿群。它是东方最大的宫殿。听了导游的介绍，我对故宫有了初步的了解。

经过(几小时)车程，终于到到达目的地。我进大门，一个面积达3万过平方米的广场映入我的眼帘，这广场可容万人聚集。广场的两侧是分别文楼和武楼。我们首先参观主殿——太和殿。太和殿体量宏伟，造型庄重。导游小姐介绍，太和殿一切构件格和装饰式样，都是最高等的。在这里举行的仪式也是最隆重的。在殿前开阔的台基，还放置用来焚香祈祷的铜龟，铜鹤……

游程继续进行着。走近宫殿。殿的正前方是铺着红毡的阶梯，在往里的是皇帝坐的皇位。殿内装饰巧夺天工，令人之惊叹。

游览了其他宫殿后，我们到了御花园。御花园是宫城里最北的一区，这里有苍松翠柏、怪木伏立……吸取了大自然的精华。

时间过得真快，我们要离开故宫了，走出大门，我恋恋不舍回头望去，啊!在北京，像这样宏伟的建筑，巧夺天工的文物，何止千万。祖国灿烂的文化遗产，显示了中华民族的智慧和才干呀!故宫啊!多么雄伟!祖国啊!多么可爱!

Journey to Australia

Australia is one of the famous Oceanian country. The country is famous for its wool production and seashore tour. As the climate there is warm and comfortable, many people spend vocations there every year. I’m a super fan of water entertainment, so I choose it as my destination.

In Australia, the sky is bluer than blue, the clouds are whiter than white, all the local people enjoy an optimistic and active life. They also show their kindness and enthusiasm to the tourists.

The first step should be Sydney Opera which is among the most brilliant and splendid architectures in the world. Many world-class plays are put on in it .The surface and shape of it is like a seashell with glory decorations inside.

Then Melbourne is a good choice to be as the next step. In Melbourne, skin screen is a must to take with as the sunshine is upset and may burn your skin. The most attractive thing to me is the Australia Open, which is one of the biggest world-class tennis competition. Many great players such as Roddick Federer and its local player Hewitt etc. gather to compete. It’s really a feast for the eyes.

Australia is also home to one of the most challenging and exciting surfing and diving projects. As we know, it is always called “a country riding on the back of sheep”. have their own dialects akin to those of Hebei province, which surrounds Beijing

Municipality.

Beijing Opera, or Peking Opera (Jingju), is well-known throughout the

national capital. Commonly lauded as one of the highest achievements of Chinese

culture, Beijing Opera is performed through a combination of song, spoken

dialogue, and codified action sequences, such as gestures, movement, fighting

and acrobatics. Much of Beijing Opera is carried out in an archaic stage dialect

quite different from modern Standard Mandarin and from the Beijing dialect; this

makes the dialogue somewhat hard to understand, and the problem is compounded if

one is not familiar with Chinese. As a result, modern theaters often have

electronic titles in Chinese and English.

construction.The Siheyuan is a traditional architectural style of Beijing. A

siheyuan consists of a square housing compound, with rooms enclosing a central

courtyard. This courtyard often contains a pomegranate or other type of tree, as

well as potted flowers or a fish tank. Siheyuans line Hutongs , or alleys, which

connect the interior of Beijings old city. They are usually straight and run

east-to-west so that doorways can face north and south for Feng Shui reasons.

They vary in width — some are very narrow, enough for only a few pedestrians to

pass through at a time.

Once ubiquitous in Beijing, siheyuans and hutongs are now rapidly

disappearing, as entire city blocks of hutongs are leveled and replaced with

high-rise buildings. Residents of the hutongs are entitled to apartments in the

new buildings of at least the same size as their former residences. Many

complain, however, that the traditional sense of community and street life of

the hutongs cannot be replaced. Some particularly historic or picturesque

hutongs are being preserved and restored by the government, especially for the

2008 Olympics. One such example can be seen at Nanchizi.

Mandarin cuisine is the local style of cooking in Beijing. Peking Roast

Duck is perhaps the most well-known dish. The Manhan Quanxi ("Manchu-Han Chinese

full banquet") is a traditional banquet originally intended for the

ethnic-Manchu emperors of the Qing Dynasty; it remains very prestigious and

expensive.

Teahouses are also common in Beijing. Chinese tea comes in many varieties

and some rather expensive types of Chinese tea are said to cure an ailing body

extraordinarily well.

The Jingtailan is a cloisonné metalworking technique and tradition

originating from Beijing, and one of the most revered traditional crafts in

China. Beijing lacquerware is well known for the patterns and images carved into

its surface.

The Fuling Jiabing is a traditional Beijing snack food, a pancake (bing)

resembling a flat disk with filling, made from fu ling (Poria cocos (Schw.)

Wolf, or "tuckahoe"), an ingredient common in traditional Chinese medicine.

到了北京首先去了天安门。这里游览观光的人可真多，天安门可真雄伟，上面挂着_的头像。两边还各有两行字。天安门上铺满红瓦，好象是革命战士的鲜血染红的一样。天安门前有几个小桥，叫“金水桥”。这时，我看见其中一座金水桥的中间有铁，而别的地方全是汉白玉。我问爸爸这是为什么?爸爸说：“以前是可以开车过金水桥的，可是有一次一个人开车把其中一座给压断了，以后就禁止开车过桥了。”我和爸爸上了天安门，上面又是警卫又有栏杆，好像怕天安门被损坏。站在天安门城楼上，爸爸告诉我当年_就是站在这里向全国人民宣布中华人民共和国从此站起来了。我们应该好好珍惜今天的幸福生活。

最后我们去了长城，是八达岭长城。远远看去它象一条腾飞的巨龙，我有些胆怯了，我能爬上去吗?蹬长城可真难呀!两条腿快断了，可爸爸却说：“上山容易下山难呀!”我立刻反驳到：“这又不是山，是长城!”终于爬上了一大半，再看长城脚下，哇，这条巨龙终于被我踩在脚下了。下山时，因为风太大了，石梯太陡，我差一点摔了个大跟头。不过俗话说不到长城非好汉，我蹬上了长城，我很自豪。

这次北京之行让我看见了中国的许多传统文化遗产。以后有机会我还要去别的地方看一看。

I hope to go on a trip to Beijing,but my mother always tells me "you cant".She thinks I am too young to go to Beijing,and I am too busy at school.This term is over,To my surprise,my mother will take me to Beijing.I am very excited!Then I have a traveing plan for this trip:firstly I will go to the tiananmen square,I will take many pictures,then I am going to the palace museum,I can see many old builds there.secondly,I am goingto the wangfujing street,we will buy many things,for example,foods,clothes and some books.then I will go home. I think I will have a great trip to Beijing.

Beijing is a metropolis in northern China and the capital of the Peoples

Republic of China. It is one of the four municipalities of the PRC, which are

equivalent to provinces in Chinas administrative structure. Beijing is one of

the Four Great Ancient Capitals of China.

The municipality of Beijing borders Hebei Province to the north, west,

south, and for a small section in the east, and Tianjin Municipality to the

southeast.

Beijing is Chinas second largest city, after Shanghai.

Beijing is a major transportation hub, with dozens of railways, roads and

motorways passing through the city. It is also the focal point of many

international flights to China. Beijing is recognised as the political,

educational, and cultural center of the Peoples Republic of China, while

Shanghai and Hong Kong predominate in economic fields. The city hosted the 2008

Olympic Games.

天安门广场上人来人往，真是人山人海。有的游客在此画画，有的照相，还有的滑旱冰，也有外国人，好不热闹。远望，几个五星红旗随风飘荡。还有一根似柱子的长方形柱子，其中两面有字，有“人民英雄永垂不朽”八个大字。至于另一面嘛，太多了没看清楚。

世界公园里全部都是仿建世界有名的建筑物。如：埃菲尔铁塔、巴黎圣母院、长城……做的真是惟妙惟肖、栩栩如生。它也让我见识了异国建筑物。

颐和园我是“早闻大名”因为它被保存的比较好，只有佛香阁等在维修。据说颐和园遭到过两次野蛮破坏，我真恨英法联军和八国联军。长大后，我一定会让颐和园更完好。

去年“十一”的一天，早上6：00，我们一家吃完早饭就坐着火车去了北京。四五个上时后，我们就到了北京。叔叔早就在火车站等着我们，他拉着我们一起吃了晚饭，又找了宾馆放下东西。

第二天一早，叔叔就接我们去了万里长城。走到万里长城脚下，我就感觉到长城像一条巨龙盘距在山上。我们一起登上了长城，长城上人很多，很拥挤。然后我又坐到了城壁上，感觉很危险，我就下来了。

气喘吁吁地走完长城后，第三天我和爸爸妈妈又去欢乐谷游玩了。我们去玩了“兵马俑”，玩完兵马俑之后，我感觉很恐怖。又去玩了“小鸡不好惹”、“宇宙博览会”、“水漫金山”、“小蜜蜂”、“开心转杯”、“丛林历险”等项目。我在欢乐谷玩得特别开心。

第四天，我们又去了天安门。刚看到天安门感到确实和图片上的不一样，门特别大，还有毛主席的照片，一面面的经旗。登上天安门城楼，我感觉就像站在几十米高的屋顶上，看到下面的人和汽车特别小。然后我们又进去了故宫，里面有特别宽阔的房子，还有用像皮泥捏的骑马的人。

第五天，我们又坐上了返回的火车回到了五莲。在北京的整整五天里，玩得真开心！
