Last month I went to Beijing to visit one of my friends, because we haven’t seen each other for about two years and I got a holiday meanwhile. It is my first time to visit Beijing, which is always the dream city for all the Chinese. 星期天，我和爸爸妈妈去游玩周庄和同里古镇。 一大早，我们就赶到天宁寺附近的常州旅游集散中心，坐上了旅游车。车上一共有45位游客。 我们在车上坐了两个小时终于到达了周庄。一进去，导游带我们走过了富安桥和双桥，还参观了张厅、沈厅和南湖秋月园等景点。最后，导游说：“自由活动。”我们就全解散了。我和爸爸妈妈去了怪楼，拍了各种各样奇怪的照片。有倒着的人、鸟人、虚幻空间、变身小屋、横廊、小人屋、长腿人和幻听视觉。其中我最喜欢虚幻空间，因为拍出来的照片就和真的一样。其中有一张就像坐在蟒蛇的嘴巴里，妈妈在边上拉着我，就想把我救出来一样。 自由活动完了后，我们大家又集合了。

导游带着我们去吃午饭。吃完午饭，我们又回到了旅游车上，前往同里古镇。 到了同里古镇，我们去了退思园、嘉荫堂等景点。我和爸爸妈妈还去坐了小游船。坐在游船上，一晃一晃的，好像摇篮。我发现，船上让船前进的工具是鲁班发明的橹板。坐在船上，我看到了鸬鹚，我还知道它的另外一个名字叫渔鹰。 一天的游玩让我非常开心。我感觉这两个古镇景点很多，河流和小桥也很多，古镇上的房子很古老。这就是小桥流水、江南水乡吧!

I love traveling. Traveling not only broadens my horizons but also opens my eyes to the world.

暑假期间，我和爸爸妈妈一同去了古城——北京。

我们先是来到了天安门广场。他它不仅是世界上最大的城市中心，还是北京的心脏地带。他的占地面积约44公顷，东西宽约300米，南北长约820米，地面全部是由经过特殊工艺处理的浅色花岗岩条石铺成。天安门每周一早晨的升国旗是最庄严的仪式。看着朝霞辉映的五星红旗，心中升腾的是激昂与感动。

接着，我们来到了北京市中心的天安门北侧，旧称紫禁城。他是汉族宫殿建筑的精华，无与伦比的古代建筑杰作，世界现存最大、最完整的右建筑群。它的四周有城墙环绕；四面由筒子河环抱；城四角都有角楼，四面各有一个门，正南是午门，为故宫的正门，被誉为世界五大宫之首。

最后，我们来到了长城，它又名“万里长城”。它是古代中国在不同的时期，为抵御塞北游牧部落联盟侵袭，而建筑的规模浩大的军事工程的统称。古今中外，但凡到过长城的人，没有一位不惊叹他都磅礴气势、宏伟规模、艰巨工程与防患意义。

北京的古老，让我感到新奇；北京的繁华，让我大开眼界；北京的景点，让我流连忘返……

Last week my parents and I went to Europe for a visit. We had a wonderful time there.

It took us about ten hours to fly from Beijing to Budapest, Hungary. And then we visited France, Germany, Italy and other countries. Europe was really beautiful.

The sky was blue, and the sunshine was bright. There were not so many tall buildings there as we had expected. Most of the people there were polite and friendly.

I was glad that when I spoke a little English, they all understood. After we stayed there for half a month, I began to miss my hometown. I couldnt live there for a whole life, though it was beautiful.

Why did those changes appear? I think there are several reasons. First， it s because people can afford traveling. Second， people prefer to pursue a high-quality and colorful life. Third， their attitudes to relaxation have changed. Less people want to save much money by leading a simple life. In short， peoples living standard today has been rising greatly.
