中学生活跟小学生活完全不同。小学时，我们还是孩子，学习内容很简单，上几节课，做一下作业，一天就这么愉快的度过了；而初中就不一样了，课时从一天6节增到10节。课程从原来的语数外，音体美的基础上又增加了政治，历史，地理，生物，晚上也有4节晚自习。晚上10点睡，早上六点半起，中午午休1小时，一天的生活安排得满满的，这满满的作息安排，为我们以后的生活和学习奠定了重要的基础。

一天中最令人窘迫的时间便是晚自习课后了。晚自习要9：20才完，但是我们10：05就要上床睡觉，而这40多分钟便是一整天最刺激的时刻。我们飞一般从教学楼回到宿舍，赶紧开始刷牙、洗澡、洗衣服，因为时间非常紧迫所以大家动作一定要快，我们寝室7个人，只有两个洗澡的地方，如果谁慢了就有人有人来不及洗澡，有人不及洗衣服。

这样一来，寝室里这段时间就像打仗一样，“快点，快点，你怎么还没洗完？”“好了，好了，马上出来”……之类的声音源源不断地从各个寝室里传出。要是以前在家里，洗澡谁会催你啊，在浴室里呆个一二十分钟都是小事。而洗衣服就更不用说了，根本不用洗。进了初中一切事情都要自己做，这样就考验了我们的自理能力，并且在这40多分钟里，寝室的人必须配合得好，这样才能有条不紊地做好所有事，如此又考验了我们的配合能力和团队精神。

The girls were  less frantic than the boys when they were having a good time at such games as jump-rope, hopscotch and battledore and shuttlecock.
