I go back to my hometown every year. Every year, its very busy. On the eve of the New Year, it is also called New Years eve. Every family is affixed with spring couplet, affixed "fu" word. Some people are so clever that they cut their own window flowers to the window, like falling snow. Others hang lanterns on the front door, and the lanterns are very beautiful.

That night, the sound of fireworks, like thunder, one after another, one after another. Li hua red the whole sky, like a beautiful flower. After setting off firecrackers, people picked up the delicious and big dumplings and ate the reunion dinner. The children are also reunited with their parents. People ate hot dumplings and watched the wonderful Spring Festival gala, which lasted until twelve o clock in the evening, and the New Years bell rang.

春节是我们中国农历的新年，所以过年对我们中国人而言非常重要的！因此，春节前的准备也是必不可少的。 过年了！过年了！家家户户忙着贴春联，剃头发，做年夜饭要做的事情太多了，而且“规矩”太多了！有些习俗还很怪，无奈之下，我就去问正在贴春联的妈妈。

我看见妈妈将“福”字倒着贴，我固然知道为什么要倒着贴，将‘福’字倒着贴是一种习俗，‘福’倒贴说明‘福’倒（到）了！但我仍然问道：“过年有什么习俗和规矩啊？”妈妈停下手中的活，耐心地给我谈起来。

原来，以前过年还有一种放鞭炮的习俗，来源于“年兽”的故事。很久以前有一只“年兽”，长期居住深海底，到了除夕就跃出海面到处作恶。有一年一个老人用放炮，穿红衣，贴红春联的方法驱赶走“年兽”，这才得以平静，此后这个方法就流传开来。但是现在广州禁止燃放烟花爆竹，所以我们就不再进行这个活动了。

除夕这一天对我国来说是极为重要的。这天晚上，我们全家准备除旧迎新，吃团年饭。

吃年夜饭，是春节家家户户最热闹愉快的时候。大年夜丰盛的年菜摆满一桌 ，全家团聚，围坐桌旁，共吃团圆饭。人们既是享受满桌的佳肴，也是享受那份快乐的气氛，桌上有鸡、鹅、烧肉等等，一般少不了两样东西，一是火锅，一是鱼。火锅热气腾腾，说明红红火火；“鱼”和“余”谐音，喻意“年年有余”。最后一道甜食，祝福往后的日子甜甜蜜蜜。

今天我的收获太大了，知道了很多过年习俗的知识，不过我觉得有点迷信，但这又仿佛是一种乐趣，只要快乐就好，何必迷信不迷信？更何况这是传统的习俗，宁可信其有不可信其无啊！

And they often go back home to celebrate the festival with their family.At the time,the children will play the fireworks and firecracker。further more，once the children greet to olds，  for return,the olds will give the children lucky money.and last The first day of the new year is the time when people visit their friends and wish each other good luck in the new year,remember to be happy！
