每到过春节的时候，也正是主妇们在厨房里最忙碌的时刻，年菜都在前几天做好了，而年夜饭总要在年三十当天由掌厨的做出来，而且大年初一的饺子也要在三十晚上包出来。这时家家的砧板都在噔噔噔地忙着剁肉、切菜。此时，砧板声、爆竹声，再夹杂着人们的说笑声，此起彼伏，洋洋盈耳，交织成除夕欢快的乐章。

吃年夜饭是春节家家户户最热闹愉快的时候，丰盛的年菜摆满一桌，合家团聚，围坐桌旁，共吃团圆饭，心头的充实感真是难以言喻。人们既是享受满桌的佳肴盛馔，也是享受那份快乐的气氛。我们这里一般少不了两样东西，一是火锅.一是鱼。火锅沸煮，热气腾腾，温馨撩人，说明红红火火;"鱼"和"余"谐音，是象征"吉庆有余"，也喻示"年年有余"。还有萝卜俗称菜头，祝愿有好彩头;龙虾、爆鱼等煎炸食物，预祝家运兴旺如"烈火烹油"。最后多为一道甜食，祝福往后的日子甜甜蜜蜜，这天，即使不会喝酒的，也要多少喝一点。

每年，我都很期待春节的到来，因为热闹，因为一家人在一起的温馨。

按照湖北省宜昌的老规矩，过春节差不多从冬至就开始了。

冬至前后，人们便把鸡、鸭和鹅用笼子关起来，以减少它们的活动量，每天用充足的食物喂养。到了过年 时，家禽就长得又大又肥。

农历十二月二十三日，是传统的“小年”。这天，人们要把灶台打扫干净，杀鸡宰鸭来祭“灶神”。

腊月二十五日前后，人们选择吉日把家里打扫的一尘不染，干干净净迎新年。这时，千家万户都忙碌起来，包粽子、爆“米花 ”、炸“油鼓”……

除夕可真是热闹非凡呐!家家户户赶做年饭，到处都是酒肉的香味，男女老少都穿上漂亮的新衣，门外贴好红红的春联;有条件的人家，还会在门口挂上两个大红灯笼。除此之外，大家还在房间门口贴上“利市”。哪一家都通宵灯火，鞭炮声日夜不绝。出门在外的人，必定要赶回来，吃团圆饭。这一夜，人们还要守岁和看中央电视台的《春节联欢晚会》。

大年初一 是春节的最高潮。这天，人们不许杀生。早上，要互相讲吉利话祝贺，给小孩和老人们压岁钱。从初一到十五，人们都不许讲不吉利的话。吃罢早饭，人们就从四面八方潮水 般地涌上街头。同时，各种庆祝活动也相继举行，舞狮、篮球赛 、唱歌、跳舞、下棋、射击……内容可丰富了。街上人山人海，有的三五成群在逛街，有的围在庆典活动旁边观看，耳边不时响起如雷鸣般的掌声、喝彩声。

正月初二 这天开始，人们便要到亲朋好友家串门拜年。

初三 ，大家一大早就起床，开门扫地，把扫成堆的鞭炮纸烧掉。

“人日”、“人胜节”和“七元日”都指这天——正月初七，传说这天是女娲造人的日子。

汤圆一上市，春节便接近了尾声。正月十五古称“上元节”。这天晚上，有张灯结彩、猜谜踏歌的活动，突出了一个“闹”字，人们还要吃汤圆，预示着新的一年快乐 吉祥。过了这天，春节也就过完了。农民们开始准备春耕，人们又开始了忙碌的生活。

快过年了，今年我们是回爷爷家过年。二月七号的清晨我们坐火车，直到下午我们才到爷爷家。

虽然离过年还有十天，但是我看到了一片忙碌的景象。大家都在准备办年货，清早爷爷提着菜篮去买鱼、肉、牛肉……买回来以后还自制香肠，大伯还在炒自己地里种的花生，哥哥上街买春联、鞭炮、烟花。伯妈还开卤锅卤菜，海带啊、藕……爸爸就杀鸡，我和妈妈就贴两家的春联、贴门神，贴门神是为了防止年兽入侵，贴完春联、门神就去洗海带、藕……我们以前在长沙还从来没这样过，都是去超级市场买现成的，而且这里和邻居好亲热啊!难得一见。

因为城市很少有挨家挨户的房子，就算有，也很少亲热。在吃晚餐之前还要先祭祖，于是我们提着鞭炮来到奶奶的坟上，烧纸钱、放鞭炮。在爷爷这里除夕团年饭必须要凑足十个菜。在餐桌上，我们互相敬酒，不喝酒的就以饮料代酒，相互之间祝福，在我的记忆当中，在长沙只有我们三个人吃饭，也没说过祝福，吃完饭就开始给压岁钱给小孩，吃完饭我们大家就出去放烟花、放鞭炮……这里有各式各样的烟花、鞭炮，大年初一，我们晚辈要给长辈拜年，还要送补品、礼物。

这就是我们湖北过春节的习俗。

On Happy New Years Eve，our class had a party. The atmosphere was good. It was out of the ordinary from the very begining. The boy student from one bedroom gave an unusual performance. We saw a boy named Li Xinmin turn off all the lights in a sudden snap. Then with three resounding(响亮的) crow of a cock echoing in the hall，the hall was again brightly lit in a snap.

He added that Li Xinmin alone was born in the year of the dog and the other three were all born in the year of the chicken. They left us all in confusion. This time Li Xinmin was placed in the middle of the circle. While he was standing there，the other three stood around him，each bowing down to him at an angle of 120 degrees. It was an idiom. Spring festival is the most important festival in China.During Spring festival,people visit their relatives,sending their best wishes for a new year.Children are the happiest in spring festival.They will receive red envelopes that contain money as new year presents.They can also play crackers and fireworks.Whats more,they are given a lot of freedom,which they have dreammed of for a whole year.During Spring festival,there will be plenty of foods.Thats why many people put on "holiday weight" after Spring festival.When it comes to food,there are many festival specialties.The world famous Jiaozi and Chunjuan(spring roll) have even been accepted by foreigners as fast foods.Spring festival usually comes in Feburary,sometimes earlier.Its a festival full of hope and good wishes.Its a symbol of Chinese culture.
