“首饰龙”一般长4。5米，高3米，宽2米，前有龙头，后有龙尾，龙身至少由四层楼阁组成，每层楼阁上插着各色小旗，内壁贴着透光白纸，外壁贴着五颜六色的细纹刻纸图案。仔细看，里面大有乾坤，“住”着好几百号形态各异的人形玩偶。惟妙惟肖的古今人物在色彩缤纷的船型龙灯上手舞足蹈，上演一幕幕古装大戏，妙趣横生。正所谓：一个人物就是一段历史，两个人物就有一段故事。

所谓新娘敬茶，是我们潮汕地区结婚时一个独特的习俗。两位长辈坐在一条长凳上面，新娘必须跪在两位长辈面前请两位长辈喝茶，两位长辈喝完茶之后，自然不能拍拍屁股走人，回家洗了睡觉（你当新娘跪下去敬你的茶是白喝的？），还要一把扶起新娘，而且要面目慈祥（虎着脸的话早把你赶出去了），两位长辈一起送上鼓鼓的红包（一般来说不低于一百，光这点就可以入选吉尼斯世界纪录之最贵的茶）。

我们到了姑姑家的另一间房子，我专门往里面挤，果然看见了新娘正跪在那里向长辈们敬茶。敬茶可是要论辈分的，显示老姑老舅，之后就是二老姑二老舅……依次排列，忘了说一句，敬茶的话，咱们小孩子可是没份的了（难道你敢说咱们小孩子是长辈？）。
