I`d like to eat potatoes. They`re tasty. My favourite colour is green. And I like math best. It`s fun. On weekend, I like reading books in my room. I have a happy family.

我的家乡在美丽的湖南，这里的物产丰富，我最喜欢的是金灿灿的桔子，一想起来就流口水呀！

阳春三月，春风轻轻地吹着，春雨细细地下着，滋润了大地。桔子树上的芽儿也悄悄地长了出来，有嫩黄的，有嫩绿的，很光滑。

初夏时分，叶子长大了，长成了又肥又厚的绿叶，远远的就可以闻到一股淡淡的清香，十分怡人。

四五月间，桔子树开花了，有盛开的，有含苞欲放的。虽然它没有玉兰那么高雅，也没有玫瑰那么娇艳，但它是那么的冰清玉洁，远远看去，树上像挂满了珍珠，让人流连忘返。

花凋谢了，像一片片洁白的雪花纷纷落下。过了十多天，树上结满了绿豆般大小的桔子。桔子慢慢长成像乒乓球大小，穿着一身翠绿的衣服，衣服上坑坑洼洼凹凸不平。

秋天到了，桔子换了一件金光灿烂的新衣服，十分逗人喜爱，就像一个个小巧的灯笼。如果你仔细观察，会发现皮上的坑坑洼洼减少了很多，凑近来闻一下，会闻到一股淡淡的果香，剥开，你会看到饱满的果肉抱在一起，像在说着悄悄话，轻轻地咬一口，又酸又甜的汁水会流得你满嘴都是，令你回味无穷。

桔子不仅好吃，桔子皮也不可小瞧，它可是一味灵丹妙药。冬天如果你嗓子干哑，就可以泡一杯桔子皮水滋润一下。如果你累了，喝了它，会让你神清气爽。

啊！桔子，因为有你，家乡人们走上了致富的道路，你那无私和默默奉献的精神值得我们学习。

English is one of my best subjects and I started learning English when I was 10 years old. But at the very beginning, listening seemed a little difficult for me.

So I have been doing a lot of listening practice, such as listening to tapes, watching English TV programs.

And I found it really helped a lot. I enjoy singing English songs and I want to join an English club or find a pen pal from English-speaking countries.

I believe that nothing is impossible if you put your heart into it.

幸福是家乡旧貌换新颜的欢畅。就拿我们说六安来说吧，皋陶故里的一颗明珠——九墩塘公园如今早已成为人们茶余饭后休闲娱乐的好地方。可是在三十年前，你知道是怎样的吗？那时，解放路还只是一条狭窄的水泥路，九墩塘只是杂草丛生的一处小水洼罢了。现在的情况却大不一样了，白云商厦拔地而起，“百尺长虹横水面，一弯新月出云霄。”漫步桥上，看风扶细柳，云卷云舒，在这周围大厦的掩映下更别有一番情趣。还有月亮岛，中央森林公园，把六安点缀得分外妖娆。这不，六安最近还荣获“国家园林城市”的光荣称号。看到六安日新月异的变化，我心里甭提有多高兴了，我为自己是一名六安人感到骄傲。

幸福是什么？幸福是人民的生活过得越来越美好的那份心情，是祖国被建设得越来越美丽的那份自豪！朋友们，我们是二十一世纪的主人，建设祖国的重任担在我们的肩上，我相信，在我们辛勤地创造下，祖国一定会越来越强大，人民一定会越来越幸福﹗

春节是团圆的节日，一到春节，在外挣钱的、读书的人都会纷纷回家团聚。每逢这时候，都是我们最快乐的日子，礼物、压岁钱，都是我们最关心的。

春节那天，有很多传统。最是少不了的要数供“祖佬”了。每家都要供“祖佬”，我们也要给“祖佬”叩头，祈求保佑我们平安，考试得高分。其实，这些都是大人们让我们一起怀念死去的爷爷奶奶吧。

再就是“过年”吃饭了。一家人坐在一起，吃着丰盛的早餐，举杯祝福。而我们更是好好表现了，“爷爷奶奶、叔叔姑姑”不停地叫着，哄他们高兴发压岁钱。随着甜甜的叫声，一个个“毛爷爷”向我们飞来！

贴春联、穿新衣服，更是我们喜欢的传统。大人们总是考我们，哪幅在左，哪幅在右，什么意思？随后就是洗澡换衣服了，穿上爸爸妈妈奖励我们学习进步的新衣服，心里那个美啊，真是难以言表！然后小伙伴们一个个拿着鞭炮，比谁的鞭炮最响，当然更少不了比比谁的衣服漂亮！

春节还有好多我们喜欢的事：包饺子、看春晚、拜年等等，正如爸爸妈妈说的，春节是为我们安排的。
