我的英语老师唯一的爱好就是跳江南styl，他喜欢笑，讲起课来很随意，讲着课随便都可以插入5分钟的笑话，或者不经意间就和同学们聊起天来，所以他整个人看起来很随和，同学们都喜欢他的课，因为在他的课堂上总是乱七八糟的。

我也不例外，我特别喜欢上英语课，当然喜欢英语课的另外一个原因是我的英语成绩还不错。有一天上英语晚自习的时候，英语老师组织同学们考试，先交完试卷的同学们可以自己干自己的事情，他要求同学们不要说话就行，于是我拿出一张纸，在上边画上两只小猪，用英语在旁边标注着英文两只小猪的对话，写完后我居然大胆的在纸上边用铅笔标注着英语老师的名字。当我拿着自己的杰作开心的给同桌看时，居然被我那小气的同桌给告发了。

我知道自己闯了祸，像一个犯了错的罪人一样顿时立在自己的座位旁边不敢出声。还好老师给我面子，没当着全班同学的面数落我，让我和同桌跟着他去办公室谈，他让我写份检讨拿给他，可当我第二他拿给他检讨的时候他看也没看一眼，告诉我说下不为例，果真是宰相肚里能撑船，多么随和的一个人，他大人不记，我这个小人自然就好过了。

How time flies! I have studied in my school for three years. And I will graduate from the middle school in a month. I am eager to share my happiness and sadness with you.

I had so many memories in three years’ life. One of them impressed me very much. When I began to learn English, I found it too difficult. No matter how hard I tried, I still couldn’t do well in it and almost gave it up. As soon as my English teacher found my problem, she had a talk with me about how to learn English well. Since then, she has kept helping me. Little by little, I’ve become interested in English and I’m good at it.

I think I am so lucky to become one of her students. I’ve learned a lot from her. I will try to help others when they are in trouble. I think it is a happy thing to help others.

Computers have played an important part in our life. They can do most of the things people can do. Through computers, we can acquire knowledge and get the latest news. Computers have made the communication with our friends convenient and easy.But some young people are so interested in playing games on line that they even drop out of school. It is not the computers fault.It depends on the users. We should make good use of computers.

We need to improve our English skills in each of four areas.

The first one is listening skills . I think doing lots of listening practice is a great way to improve listening skills. Maybe you could buy some English tapes or borrow your teacher’s tapes to listen .

The second on is speaking skills. How can we practice our spoken English ? I think the first and the most important thing is to believe yourself . Your should often encourage yourself , then you can join an English –language club and make lots of conversations with you partner . I think it can help a lot.

The third one is reading skills. I think we should do more reading in our free time. If you have any problems when you are reading , you’d better ask others tof help.

The last one is wring skills. It’s very important for us to learn English . I think keeping a diary in Engish is the best way to improve your writing skills. You should practice writing notes or letters every day, or you could find a pen pal . I think it sounds like a very interesting way to practice writing. And don’t be afraid of making mistakes.

An Eye-witness Account of a Traffic Accident

The car accident happened at about 7:30 on the morning of April 6th, 2003 when I was on my way to school.

It was raining heavily, and the road was very slippery. Three little boys were going in front of me, each riding on a bike, talking loudly with each other while they rode. One of the boys didn＇t weara raincoat; instead he was holding an umbrella in one hand, and the handle of the bike in another. As he turned left to Hongqiao Road, a car came out at a high speed from behind a truck parked on the corner. Both the boy and the driver acted quickly, but it was too late. I heard a big noise and saw the boy falling down and an umbrella thrown away. I was completely shocked.

I think three factors attributed to this tragedy. The first factor is the boy＇s absent mindedness. He was talking all the way, dangerously holding an umbrella while riding the bike. The second factor is the bad weather and the slippery road, which makes it hard for the driver to bring the car to a full stop abruptly. The last factor was the improperly parked truck, which was big enough to make the road conditions invisible to the driver and students who were going to make a turn.

My hometown is on a big mountain near Xianyou County town. After 1 hours of winding roads, we finally arrived at the destination -- my familiar hometown in dreams.

As soon as we got off the train, we could smell a fresh country smell, surrounded by green hills, and the whole countryside was so peaceful. We walked a few minutes to see an old house covered with mud, a place where Grandpa, grandma and Dad had lived before, and only Granny and grandfather lived there. The year of 2008 is getting closer and closer to us. We need to take actions from now on to prepare for the game. What we need to do most is to work on our disadvantages and shortcomings. As a student of Senior high, I can do my own part. Although I can’t transform our city into more a beautiful place on my own, I can help Beijing in small ways and encourage our classmates and people around me to follow my lead.

Let me take the environment for example, the atmosphere around Beijing is quite disappointing, factories and cars keep giving off exhausts into the air, we can hardly see the blue sky with our naked eyes, because the sky is covered with a thick layer of harmful substances. It can’t be improved in a day or two. It takes time and energy. For instance, taking part in all kinds of English contests is a good way, you can meet some excellent contestants, and you can share the experience of learning and some good method of learning. I will keep participating in all English activities to polish up my English. I’m sure by the year of 2008, I will be able to master English well just as my mother tongue.
