As Beijing has been confirmed home city of Olympics 2008, the spirit of "green Olympics, scientific Olympics and humanized Olympic" will surely bring more and more changes to Beijing, promote the development of sports and Olympics in China as well as in the world, and strengthen the friendly communications between Chinese and foreign people.

听爸爸妈妈说，他们小时候很贫穷，家里连白面馒头都吃不上，只有干涩无味的玉米饽饽，那还算好的。有时候只能去门前的小河里挑些野菜吃，那野菜又苦又涩，还有股子怪味啊。烧汤，那汤面上根本没有油花儿，放多少菜都得精打细算。我有两个叔叔一个姑姑，爸爸小时候上学连桌椅都没有，还得自己带泥去糊，到二叔上学时，家境稍稍好点了，但是二爷也只是有了几个少的可怜的小玻璃球，姑姑则有了属于她的廉价的布娃娃。三叔算是最好的了，但是也只是有个不大的小汽车模型。奶奶家的墙上到现在还有着用麦皮糊着的老式墙面，婆婆家的房子里全是虫子，老家总是深一脚浅一脚的稀泥，很多时候，有令人望而却步的感觉。

记得几年前我跟过爸爸妈妈回过老家一次，脑海里满是旧时的记忆，多是泥泞的道路和破旧的瓦房。一年前，爸爸妈妈又要把我带回去过新年了，我当时是有些不情愿的，可是当我到了老家后却不想走了，老家的变化简直可以用翻天覆地来形容。婆婆家盖起了三层漂亮的小洋楼，屋内有壁挂式液晶电视，空调，露天阳台。。。。。。奶奶家旧时的泥泞路也被铺成了宽敞的大马路，夜晚的时候，路灯和普蓝天空上璀璨闪烁的满天繁星遥相呼应，真是美极了。现在奶奶和婆婆家，每天都可以做可口的鱼和肉，菜肴丰盛又有营养，早餐也多精致美味，表弟小妹们个个吃的气色红润，小胖脸蛋把眼睛都挤成一条缝了!

老家只是中国快速发展中的一个缩影，中国在慢慢变得富有繁华，仙林地区从荒野变成了人口还算密集的城区，中国的许多地方都从无人郊区发展成了了高楼林立，车水马龙的繁华地区，甚至从无人问津发展到世界闻名。。。。。。

只要我们环保，努力，节省。。。。。。全面建成小康社会将近在眼前。

My winter vacation

我的寒假

During the winter vacation, nothing is different for my life. I wake up 11 o’clock Am everyday, after a washing, I have a good lunch with my parents. Next I play computer games till the time to have supper. After have dinner. I go on playing till 2 o’clock Am, and then go to sleep with tired. This is one dull day of my winter vacation.

寒假期间，我的生活没有什么不同的。我每天十一点醒来，洗完碗后，与我的父母吃丰盛的午餐。之后我玩电脑游戏，玩到吃晚饭的时候。晚餐后。我继续玩游戏玩到凌晨两点，然后去睡觉了。这就是寒假我暗淡无光的一天生活。

But I haven’t bored all the time. Sometimes I read the books, sometime I listen to the music or the radio in the bed，because it was very cold outside and snowy all the day. And I also meet some of my good friends during the vacation ,we have a very long talk about the life of each other in the past year and play table tennis tegether .And I watched the spring festival party of the CCTV in the last seconds of the 2011 year! I think this is the thing most people of china doing at that time.

但我不是所有的时间都是那么的无趣。有时候我读书，有时我听音乐或在床上听收音机，因为外面很冷而且一整天都在下雪。寒假的时候我也会跟我一些好朋友见面，我们会聊各自在过去一年里的生活，一起打乒乓球。我会在2011年的最后一秒钟看中央电视台春节联欢晚会!我认为这是中国的大多数人会做的事情。

It was the first day of our summer holiday. All of us were very happy. Why? Because we have one month to do things we love to do. We are free. Although we have some homework. But we can finish them in several days. And the rest time we can make good use of. My god! We have been very tired after hard studying. In winter holidays, I want to have full sleep and eat good food in order to replenish myself. Last but not the least; I will have a good rest.
