When the Romans conquered the Celts in the first century A.D., they added parts of their festivals, Feralia and Pomona to the tradition. Feralia was a festival to honor the dead and Pomona was a harvest festival named after the goddess of fruit (apples) and trees.

Around the eigth century, the Christian church made November 1 All Saints Day to honor all of the saints that didnt have a special day of their own. Over the years these festivals combined, the mass held on All Saints Day was called Allhallowmas (the mass of all Hallows - saintly people)。 The night before was known as All Hallows Eve. 7月22日 阴天 我今天起的很早，为了等待那传说中的日全食。为什么是传说中呢？因为没亲眼见过嘛。不过从早上7：30就开始下雨，害我郁闷了半天。还好刚刚在网上看了新闻专家说阴雨天看日 全食会更震撼，好像是因为本来云层很厚，再加上日全食天空会更加的黑暗

元旦到了，学校放了三天假，我要好好想一想这三天假期怎么安排。假期的第一天我和爸爸妈妈去了姥姥家，姥姥家离我家很远，到了姥姥家，妈妈在家陪姥姥做饭，爸爸和我去了姥姥家前边的小河玩。不知不觉的第一天假期过完了，但我过得很开心也很高兴。

假期的第二天，妈妈值班去了，爸爸在家陪我写作业，爸爸说：等我写完作业带我去后边的山上玩，我赶紧快写作业，好让爸爸带我出去玩 一会，我用了很短的时间把作业写完了也检查了一遍。写完作业后爸爸带我去了家后边的山上玩了一下午。假期的第二天就这样过完了。

明天是假期的最后一天我要在家好好复习，因为快要期末考试了，不能让老师和爸爸妈妈失望我要考出一个好最好成绩来。

我们不应该去破坏他们安详和谐的生活，我们也无权去破坏他们的生活，当然，更没有理由去指责伤害他们。

每当我们的饭桌旁摆上一道道香喷喷的菜，比如：蛇、青蛙、等动物。我们是不是应该想一想，我们每吃一种动物，就等于放走了多少对农民对庄家有害的虫。我们更是不是也应该换位思考一下，它们都在齐心协力的抓害虫，可人类不但不领情，反而把它们当做他们的食物，当作我们人类每天赚钱的东西，他们是多么可恶呀!

如今，地球上的许多生物已经很罕见了，甚至有的已经濒临灭绝了!如果地球上没有了动物，地球将会变成什么样，人类又将会变成什么样?

我想，是我们人类好好反省的时候了，如果再这样下去的话，我们将会成为动物们的敌人了，更别谈什么“与狼共舞”

人类，快点醒醒吧!保护野生动物，现在开始，还来得及!
