Social morality is an important part of our life that reflects the degree

of civilization of our country. Generally speaking, social morality contains

Firstly, honesty has been treasured and honest people have been respected

through history in all parts of the world. People everywhere would regarded

honesty as a virtue and hate a dishonesty person. Secondly, honesty is the basis

of interactions among people. People should treat each other sincerely and open

their hearts to each other. Only in this way can the relationship among the

people be natural. Thirdly, in the market economy, some people try to get more

money at the cost of honesty. To them, a best businessman is one who can cheat

most tactfully. Even in this kind of society, honesty is deeply valued by most

people.

We can see that not only in history, but also at the present day, honesty

was and is valued by the majority of the people and the virtue will not perish

so easily.

The Chong Yang Festival is celebrated on the ninth day of the ninth lunar month, and it is as such known as the Double Ninth Festival.

Climbing mountains: On the Double Ninth Festival, people customarily climb mountains, appreciate chrysanthemum flowers, drink chrysanthemum wine, and eat double-ninth cakes. The Double Ninth Festival is also the Old Men Festival. Old people are especially meant to improve their health by taking part in the activities on the day of the festival.

Origins: The festival began as early as the Warring States Period (475 - 221 BC). According to the yin/yang dichotomy that forms a basis to the Chinese world view, yin represents the elements of darkness and yang represents life and brightness. The number nine is regarded as yang. The ninth day of the ninth month is a double yang day, hence the name Chong Yang Festival. (Chong means repeat in Chinese.) The ninth month also heralds the approach of winter. It is a time when the living need warm clothing, and filial Chinese sons and daughters extended this to make the festival a time for providing winter clothes for their ancestors. The Double Ninth Festival, therefore, also became an occasion to visit the graves of dead family members. Clothes made of paper would then be burnt as offerings.

Family get-togethers: The Double Ninth Festival is also a time for family get-togethers. It is an occasion to remember one‘s ancestors, the sacrifices they made and the hardships they underwent. Often, family outings are organised during which people search to renew their appreciation of nature and to reaffirm their love and concern for family members and close friends.

On March 8th, 1975, the United Nation started to celebrate the

International Women’s Day. In China, the women’s day also called “March 8th”day.

Why we celebrate women’s day? There is a long story.

On March 8th, 1909, the Women’s Union of Chicago demonstrated against the

inequality between men and women. They demanded that they should have the same

payments, the same working hours as men had, and they should have the rights to

vote. They even put forward a slogan: Bread and Rose, which stood for equal

payment and a better living standard. This demonstrated had caused international

attention to the women’s rights. A year later, a critical meeting was held in

Demark, in order to promote the women’s liberation and equal rights, the council

members decided to establish the Women’s Day on March 8th. Then March 8th, 1911

just became the first Women’s day.

In our country, during the women’s day, the women usually have a day-off

holiday. The communities or companies will organize the recreational activities

月亮映照着理想，六便士折射着现实。清冷的夜影影绰绰地扶上窗栏，如墨倾倒，肆意流淌，沾湿了每一个梦中所向往的前景。

我愿前程似锦。

我愿无愧于心。

当视野被提至另一个高度，居于九楼，面前仿佛开豁了许多。褪于繁冗的牵绊，远远遥遥，尽收眼底。每每立于落地窗前，风从缝隙里漏进，扇起零落的断想纷飞。目光所及之景被独立地区分，再织连成一整片，手挽手，向着明天。

左侧，是一中。

视野斜斜地擦过围墙，能瞥见操场的一隅与几层教学楼。向东漫延的繁华被其挡在身后，青春的活力与宁静的书香氤氲着。早晨就着晨曦眯起眼，迎着阳光的暖意可以看到三三两两有人走在校园。或攀谈，或独自行进着。蓝紫的色调映出一种自信的朝气，毫不掩饰地张扬着。我注视着，远远地，羡慕地……

右侧，是养老院。

上学的时候是遇不到养老院里的动静的。那里该是太阳红着脸攀上了高处，才渐渐有了生气。汽车得意地开进来，几声鹦鹉之鸣，猫叫狗吠被距离稀释地不太真切。倒是常在傍晚看见某一扇门轻轻转开，一位老人踱步出来，一手扶在栏上，不知向何处凝望一会儿，又踱步回去，于是那一屋的灯便关了。养老院的夜宁静而绵长。只是不知该有多深的黑暗，才会让昔日的荣光再微微发亮?

而在这之间，是一座寺庙。

刚搬家时我也打趣：“这一中旁边有座庙，该不是为考试前拜一下吧?”黄色的基调生硬地嵌在目光里，撞得生疼。随着晃晃白昼一起飘荡的袅袅烟气始终将它包裹，熏出一种超凡脱俗之感。并不将其放在心上的我终是在一日见其中僧侣后愣了一下，恍神之中周遭之景竟都融入这片铺开的黄色中，僧侣念诵着什么向前走，目光望向遥远，没有汲汲的渴望，只是淡然地注视，却干净清澈。他并不会望向这侧的九楼，我也不曾遇上那束目光之后的力量。却忽觉这其中兑有校园的志向与老人的祥和。眼前之景接连成一片，如一曲连贯而明亮的乐章。

似锦前程呵!无愧于心呵!

我拭去窗上的水汽，我拂去窗上的尘灰。我注视着这片景，我叩问心底的愿。

在金碧辉煌的大厅中央，有一个舞台。舞台上面放着各种设备，放射出令人目眩神迷的灯光，播放着时而舒缓，时而激昂的音乐。

马上就要到我表演了。我紧紧地握着那即将和我一起演出的两根鼓棒。感受到来自母亲鼓励的目光，我转过头，朝她自信而又心虚地笑了笑，手心也微微也了点儿汗。终于，主持人叫到了我的名字。我深吸了一口气，快步走上台，露出尽可能自信的微笑，朝观众们弯了个腰，然后到椅子上坐定。

节拍声响起，我尽量平复了下心情，等着正式音乐的响起。“叮——”鼓棒落下，鼓声骤起，这第一下，似乎敲散了我内心的恐惧。我的脑海里已经没有台下人群的嘈杂，没有人们注视的目光，只是专心聆听这音乐，我想要用手中的鼓棒，敲出令人惊叹的声音。

人、鼓、棒，这三者似乎已经合为一个整体，音乐带动着人，人挥舞着棒，棒击打着鼓，鼓声又带动着音乐。我似乎能听见台下观众的喝彩声，却丝毫不为所动，此时我的心中，只有耳中的音乐，和手中的鼓棒。

乐曲中间有一段停顿，虽然只有短短的五秒钟，但我不知道哪里来的勇气，竟然用鼓棒在空中互相敲击着，用脚鼓打着节拍，一下，两下，三下……五秒过后，我双槌一落，砸在旁边的两个鼓上，发出“轰”的一声巨响，好像在赞美我这突如其来的勇气。

一曲终了，我以一个自认为比较帅气的姿势结了尾，本以为能立马获得掌声，台下却一阵静默。我有些尴尬地站着，不知所措。幸好，掌声最终还是响起来了，还夹杂着几声叫好。我笑了，再次向他们鞠躬后，缓步走下台，心中不禁自得起来。一下台，迎接我的就是母亲的拥抱。她笑着，朝我比了个大拇指，道：“不错嘛，又帅气又精神，这才是少年该有的风范啊!”

晚些时候，我从母亲的手机里看到了我表演时的录像，果然，真如母亲所言，敲着架子鼓的少年真是阳光，活力充沛，那透出屏幕的活力，将现在的我也感染了，不禁随着节奏打起了节拍。回想着先前的表演，带是没想到我会表现得这么好呢!

活力，阳光，尽力地展现自己，对我来说，这就是少年风采。

普天下最平凡的是母亲，最伟大的也是母亲。从来没有一种文字能写尽母爱，文章是有尽头的，而母爱，却是无痕的岁月，贯穿着我们生命的全部。

母爱有无数的方式，简简单单的一句话，一个微笑，一次点头……在这些细节中，或深或浅，或重或轻都有爱的滋味。只要你回味和咀嚼，迟早会品尝到爱的味道。在平常的生活中，母爱正是用一些微不足道的小事来震撼我们的心灵。

曾经我与小明参加学校的田径赛，因为在我们班级里，我们的速度可以算得上是最快的了。我们常常一起去练习，我的速度也常常比他快一点，人们都叫我做小刘翔。也正是因为如此我们才成了好朋友。对于我来说跑步甚至比我的学习成绩都重要，可是偏偏在那一次田径赛上我失败了，我不是败给其它班的同学，而是败给了小明。小明在这次校田径赛事上不但赢了我，而且打破了校纪录!我为他打破校纪录感到高兴，同时我也深深地责怪自己。因为每天我们都一起训练的，小明进步很快，可是自己却没有进步。我流泪了，一滴一滴自责的眼泪不是落在脸上，而是流进了心里，一阵的苦痛。

To Remember Nanking Massacre

Early in the morning, when I searched the Internet, I found there were many news about the Nanking Massacre, our country’s flag had low down half, for the purpose of commemorating the people who were killed during that hard time. The massacre is such brutal, about 300 thousand people died, it is shame for our country, the Japanese who did the massacre deny their brutal act all the time. As the time went by, SomeJapanese want to clear his criminal with denying it, but we can’t forget the pain, we must remember it all the time, so that we learn the lesson and be strong. For those 300 thousand people, it will unrespect to them if they are forgotten, we must respect history, now we are still fight against the Japanese government.

这两次事件，我深深地感受到了这个朋友对我的友情。点水之恩，涌泉相报。如果我与这个朋友能再次相遇，我会想方设法的报答他。因为在我人生中有困难的时候，他帮助我，有嘲笑他安慰我，他是我人生中最最不能忘的一个人。

Today is Saturday. Today is very strange, very special, because when I go

online today, an unexpectedly found a note, tonight at 8-9: to earth hour,

really depressed.

Now, the new semester has begun for more than one week. I gradually adapt

to my new life in senior school. In senior school, my biggest feeling is busy,

for I have classes all the day and teachers leave us a lot of homework. In the

morning, I have two periods for morning reading, Chinese and English, beginning

from 7:00. After that, I have four periods in the morning and four other in the

afternoon. There are many more subjects than in middle school, Chinese, math,

English, physics, chemistry, history and so on. Sometimes, I am afraid of seeing

so many textbooks in my desk. In addition, the contents are much more difficult

than before. Math and physics are the most difficult ones for me. No matter how

hard I work, I still can’t do well in them, which makes me frustrated.

Therefore, in the new beginning, I must change my learning strategies to make my

一大早我便收拾好背包，在一个金风送爽、阳光挥洒大地的日子，我要去赏秋。一出门，一阵秋风吹过，让片片火红的枫叶飘下，一比较，“呵呵，真不小，跟我的手一样大”，我不由得暗暗赞叹。抬头一望，蓝天全被火红的枫叶遮住，它就像一个顽皮的孩子，捉弄着太阳公公。真像杜牧所说的“停车坐爱枫林晚，霜叶红于二月花”。

再走一走，你便会看到一群大雁在空中掠过，他们是要过冬去呀。“一字型”、“人字型”……大雁们就像一群舞者，在空中跳出了华丽的舞步，令人不由自主便想为他们喝彩、欢呼。

登上山顶，放眼望去，红的、黄的、绿的……数不胜数的颜色在竟相争斗，不由得令人回味起盛开的菊花，在山上还有几朵向日葵，它跟着太阳不断移动，令人不由得想起向日葵的花语“我的眼里只有你”。

秋天，它既不像春天万物复苏，令人不由得喜欢它;它也不像夏天热情似火，令人不舍离去;更不像冬天有着可爱迷人的姿容，但它一直烧灼着你，震撼着你。它是惊异于那美丽的环境中，令你无限回味，这也就是我的快乐。

快乐如此简单，就是在自己喜爱的环境中做自己爱干的事，而且不为小事伤心、难过。快乐如此迷人，我们应该每天都快乐!哦，对了，今天你快乐吗?你觉得快乐又是什么呢?

In 2011, the greatest CEO of Apple company, Steve Jobs passed away. People

from all around the world felt pity for the loss of this great talent. They laid

down notes and wrote some comments on the blog to show their respect. Looked at

Steves lifetime, he did not finished college and started his career in the age.

Though he quit school, he would listen to another lesson that caught his

interest. He overcame the difficulty of being poor by earning money through

collecting bottles. His insistence and creativity brought him great success in

career, but later he got fired. He felt frustrated then he realized he could

start his another career. He bought an animation studio and now it is very

successful. The Pixar movie studio is popular around the world. Steves story

inspires the young people to fight for their dreams.

曾喜欢这样一句口头禅：“生物多样性——不要老让我和你一样，我们是不同的。”诚然，将自己同别人比较，心里总有些不愉快。世界之大，为什么不能自由驰骋?此地不留人，自有留人处，何必跟人斤斤计较呢?与世无争，总可以找寻一份生存的空间吧，当时实在为自己的“明智”骄傲，也竭力想营造自己的桃源。

空中楼阁终不长存。初中三年的现实让我幡然大悟：当你想攀登高峰时，不知多少人要与你竞争，比分数、比名次、比速度、比耐力。当由年级第一的宝座被人挤下去并且越来越靠后时，我才知道，与世无争的桃花源是不存在的，世界从来都是罗马竞技场，没有竞争意识的人终将一无所获。

竞争无所不在，压力也无处不存。只要你有所作为，只要别人对你有期望，你就会有压力，就要去竞争。有了压力，才会有动力。进化论认可为，许多生物不是逐渐进化，而是突变进化的，而突变往往产生于环境的突变，这就是压力。试想，如果大地上仍处处温暖湿润、和风细雨，怎么有冰清玉洁的雪莲、傲然挺立的古松、热情似火的枫叶、威武雄健的仙人柱呢?又怎么会有银杏、丁香和挂着“吊死鬼”的国槐呢?有的恐怕只是遍地的蕨类而已。可见，进步需要动力，动力离不开压力和竞争。

竞争是痛苦的，竞争的恐惧是任何人都无法摆脱的。知难而上，奋发图强，是竞争的作用;知难而退、消极颓唐，也是竞争的作用。面对竞争，有的人垮掉了，更多的是涌现一批强者。真可谓成也竞争，败也竞争。有竞争，总有淘汰，痛苦吗?当然。周瑜当年的那声仰天长叹“既生瑜，何生亮”是多么的撕心裂肺、催人泪下。但时代不需要弱者，对弱者只有同情怜悯，直至遗忘。

淘汰不是错，每个人都有不如他人的权利。但你想过没有，在竞争中取胜的人也是在压力下创造奇迹的人，让你感到极光般的惊心动魄。这些人，带给世人的是欢欣，是鼓舞，是信心，还有昂扬斗志。

竞争，不是狭隘的排挤，而是积极的参与，是认识他人，超越自我，是精益求精，更上一层楼。竞争，使人难以忍受，使人步履维艰，但它能使强者站得更挺，走得更稳，产生更强的斗志。穷且益坚，不坠青云之志，这就是竞争的内涵。

敢干面对竞争，才能充分展现实力，展示胜利的希望。做竞争的崇拜者，我无怨无悔。

Stepping into the new century, environment pollution has become more

serious than ever since. There are different kinds of pollution. Such as, water

pollution, air pollution and noise pollution and so on. It seems that we live on

a planet which is full of pollution. Where all these pollution comes from? To a

large extend, the environmental destruction is the heavy price that we pay for

the rapid development of economy and the growing population. In order to have

more fuel, people cut down trees and dig more corals. But the growing needs for

energy are hardly to meet. Countless private cars on the street, the gas

stations are short of gasoline, even the government has raise the price so many

times in order to control the needs of gasoline, but it’s still not working.

Overusing the natural resources has already affected the ecological balance.

However, the factories still release the toxic air into the sky and the polluted

water into the rivers. People still lack of the conscious of protecting the

environment. I think it’s time for all of us to do something.

The government should put forward some more strict laws to prevent the

environment from being further polluted. And they should let people know more

about the importance of environment protection. And we should find the balance

between the economic growth and environmental protection. Plant more trees in

the deserts and stop cutting down the forest. Forbid the factories to pour the

waste water into the rivers directly. Encourage people to use public

transportations to work. Both government and ordinary people should join hands

together to make our home clean and fresh again. Only in this way, our earth

could be a better place to live in.
