penetrate everything and everybody, its hard to get through a day without

hearing or reading something about stress. Some doctors refer to stress as some

So I decided to make her a card. I took out a small piece of cardboard and wrote, "happy holidays and good health." Well, I put the CARDS in my room.

When July comes, it is the hottest time of the whole summer. Many of my

friends have chosen to travel to the cool place, so as to avoid the stuffy air.

As for me, I dont like to travel in this hot weather. I just want to stay

indoors and enjoy the quiet moment. I like to sit near the window, watching

outside scenery. Sometimes I will read some books, enjoy the novel and make

myself lost in the fiction world. The things I like to do most is to find a

coffee shop and then choose a table that is near the window, so that I can see

all the situation. I will bring my computer and then play the computer for the

whole afternoon. It is what I like to do in the summer. I enjoy it.

There are lots of volunteers around us now. And they dont do it for money,

they do it only for happy or others。As a young student, helping other people is

If I have a chance to join a volunteer club and to be a volunteer who helps

others，I will try my best to help others。In my classroom ，I am good at math and

science ，I can help my classmates who are in trouble if I am free.In primary

school, I can help teach young students paint because I am good for drawing.And

I am good at singing，so I can sing songs to cheer up the sick people in the

hospital。Also,I can help the old people in the old peoples home , I can clean

the floor and do chores ，because I think the old people will be very tired and

hard if they do the housework by themselves.

而现在，面对这一道道复杂又令人厌烦的几何题，我为什么独自一人在这里埋头苦思呢?难道是没有可合作的人了吗?不是的，是我们长大了，放不下面子去求助别人。真是应了那句话：“死要面子活受罪”!如果可以获得知识，获得成功，为何不与别人合作呢?让我们放下面子，与他人合作，共同迈过眼前的坎吧!就像儿时那样享受分担与合作，互助你、我、他吧，所谓“一个篱笆三棵桩，一个好汉三个帮”嘛!儿时能做的事，怎么现在就不能做了呢?

China had cause for a double celebration on Saturday after winning their

first ever swimming gold medal as well as setting a new world record in the

womens 400m medley.

Sun Yang sealed a place in Chinas Olympic history with an impressive swim

in the 400m freestyle final that was only 0.07 seconds off the world record to

take gold.

Defending Olympic champion Park Ta-Hwan was leading at the final turn, but

the 20-year-old Sun surged past his South Korean rival in the final length to

seal a place in Chinese Olympic history.

"The feeling is very nice, its beautiful. Its a big dream come true for

me," said Sun.

"Because its the Olympic Games, I felt a little bit nervous at the start,

and then at the end, I felt that I could get a medal."

Twenty minutes after Yang won Chinas maiden gold medal, 16-year-old Ye

Shiwen triumphed in the womens 400m medley, as well as breaking the world

record set in Beijing four years ago.

Last week, our school held an activity to the nursing house to visit the

old people. I was so excited to be a volunteer, because it was my first time to

join such big activity. When we got there, the old people were so happy to see

us. They smiled all the time. We brought them some fruit and presents, and they

were so moved. When we chatted face in face, they talked about the old times and

the happiness they had. I thought about my grandparents, who lived in the

hometown. I should spend more time with them. Being a volunteer is such a

precious experience for me.

Many people are active in fighting against unfair treatment to colored people, women , animals and so on. Right now I am talking about fighting for respect to our environment. Though the environment doesn’t have a mouth to deprecate what humans have done to her, she retaliates through action. In the early years the Chinese cut down large quantities of trees, at the source of the yellow river, which led to the disappearance of big forests and terrible floods.

As a result，the Huangtu plateau which was once covered with grass and forests was turned into barrens that supported fewer plants. Another example was in several developed countries. Because many chemical factories discharged poisonous gas without filtering it, cities were covered with so much poisonous gas that people were killed by the air they breathed in. What horrible scene! What we are suffering is only a small part of what the nature once suffered. If we don’t take action to show respect to the environment, we will have to face an increasingly awful situation. Measures should be taken to protect the environment on which we are relying.

First governments should forbid destroying vegetation, rivers and lakes, oceans, as and the atmosphere as well. Second voices should be made to announce the public of the importance of protecting the environment. Third enterprises should pay special attention to the effect they have on the environment and work out solutions for the problems. When we meet difficulties, most of us will be feeling distressed, just like

Chinese economy developed very fast in the last decades, the market is full

of vitality and booming. More and more students choose to study abroad, but most

of them decide to return China to start their business, which is very different

with ten years ago. At that time, finding jobs in foreign countries was their

target. Whats more, China attracts foreigners to come and seek for cooperation,

because they know clearly that China can provide the chance they need.

Mandarin is learned by people from all around the world. The newest report

shows that more than 100 million people learn Chinese, which is the worlds

second language, and only ranks behind English. Chinese dream helps them to have

more chances.

在那个严冬冰封的小河里，我看到一个鲜活的小生命还在努力的挣扎，那是一条小泥鳅。我不解，在这么冷的小河里，竟然还有生命在这么努力，这么顽强地存活下来。我小心翼翼地捧起小泥鳅，它已经奄奄一息了，冰冷的身体冻得毫无血色，它的颜色有些发白，但我能感受到，一个微小的生命正在我的手中颤动着!

我跑回家，把小泥鳅放在温水中，可它还是一动不动地沉到了水底，我用手紧紧捂着瓶子，用体温让它复苏。它先是僵硬地动动尾巴，然后再轻轻晃了晃脑袋。没过一会儿，它就能灵活地游泳了，它在小小的瓶子里快活极了。我愣了一下，才恍然，这是一个多么顽强的生命啊!

半个月过后，狂风伴着鹅毛大雪，冷空气依然没有减弱，反而更狂妄了。我突然想起那条小泥鳅，风一般的跑向阳台。完了……因为我的疏忽，瓶里又一次结了厚厚的一层冰，而小泥鳅呢?它在水中动弹不得。我似乎看出了小泥鳅脸上是有多么无助，多么痛苦。

我把它放在灼热的灯光下，心想这样就万事大吉了。10分钟，15分钟，20分钟……冰渐渐化了，可小泥鳅呢?怎么还不动?难道是……我一看，小泥鳅身上有些微微泛红，却还是没有多少血色。一摸瓶子，烫!瓶子都这么烫，那小泥鳅岂不是变成烤泥鳅了!

我连忙把小泥鳅放入温水里，万幸的是，不一会儿，它就慢慢从红转为粉，再到黑，它虽然没有从前那么活泼，但依然努力积极地活在这世上。我从它身上见证到了一个如此小的生命竟然这么顽强，这么出乎意料，它对生命的渴望是那么强烈，即使在最危险的时刻也没有放弃任何一丝生的希望。这种积极乐观的生活态度，恐怕许多人都没有吧。我从未想过连一条小泥鳅都这样伟大的生命，这难道不是我们该学习的吗?

啊，顽强的生命!在这时，我何不为你高高竖起荣耀的拇指。生命，我为你点赞!
