More and more college students, in recent years, are finding it difficult

to find jobs. This may sound strange since college students used to be the "most

favored" people in society. They have received a higher education, hence they

are more intelligent, knowledgeable than their counterparts who failed to attend

college. But chances are that some of them can hardly find jobs after graduating

from colleges.

There are two reasons that account for this strange phenomenon. One is that

some college students cannot come to terms with themselves and with the world

around them. They pursue too high goals and are too particular about such

factors as working conditions, salary, and so on. Therefore, they are reluctant

to accept the job when they are offered to them. Another reason is that the

majors some students pursue do not match with the demands of the job market. As

a result, they canonly sit and miss opportunities.

To solve this problem, I think college students should know their own

material aspects of the job. They should put priority to their future

development and their contributions to society in stead. Furthermore, they

第二，要根据自己的专业、技能、用人单位的要求，确定自己的职业方向。在投简历之前，要先上网了解该公司的基本情况，是否真的有这家公司，认真收集、分析聘用信息，辨别信息的真伪，以免上当受骗。假如自己和用人单位彼此都很满意，应该做出理性的选择，及时签订协议。且要有主见，不要人云亦云，别人觉得这家公司不好或者很好，你也这样觉得，患得患失，心里一片茫然，从而错过机遇。

第三，就业过程是一个复杂的过程，往往会遇到这样或那样的困难，处处碰壁。这就要求我们有良好的心理承受能力和端正心态，勇敢地迎接未来的种种挑战。更为重要的是要接受并适应自己从“学生”向“社会人”的转变，了解校园与职场的不同。不迷恋大城市，大企业，只要有真才实学，脚踏实地，一样有一番新天地。

第四，礼仪是帮助我们获得成功的“通行证”。所以在面试时我们要特别注意礼仪，言行举止得当的话不仅会为我们加分，还会加深面试官的印象。当然了，我们的综合素质、专业知识等一定要过硬才能事半功倍。然后就是面对聘用方说话时，能够心不慌，脸不红，说话流利，语言表达能力好，知道哪些该说、哪些详说、哪些简说，给人以诚实、谦虚的感觉。尽量在面试官面前展示自我。

第五，自荐信的书写和简历的制作。自荐信要扬长避短，重点突出，简明扼要，用词准确，能够引起聘用方的注意。简历除了基本的内容外还要写的简洁精练，措辞得体，浓缩大学生活的精华。站在聘用方的角度制作简历，使他们看到自己的价值，了解自己能为他们做什么。简历的格式篇幅要恰当适宜，不能太长。再经过精心编排打印的简历一定会令聘用方眼前一亮。不过，最重要的是要本着诚实的态度去制作简历，不能弄虚作假。

第六，我们在工作时，要遵守岗位的职业道德，不要为了一点点利益就违反公司规定和职业道德。作为一个劳动者在自己的岗位上连必须遵守的职业道德都做不到，还谈什么做好工作呢。

For instance, in 1980, only 9% of the students took advantage of their vacation time to do social practice, but its percentage has been more than tripled in 2004. Obviously, great changes have taken place in the way that college students spend their vacations.

Considering these changes, we can find there are possibly three main reasons. Firstly, with the fast development of economy, many people have become rich, which makes it possible for more students to go traveling. Most parents tend to support their children to travel financially. Social Networking’s Influence on College Students

Social networking has gained huge worldwide popularity in recent years, especially among college students. In China, college student is the main force of social networking, 97.7% of which are fond of instant messaging and 80.7% prefer social networking sites like micro-blog and Q-zone (China Internet Network Information Center, 2013). Moreover, Michigan State University Original Study also finds that compared with Chinese students, American students are more tied to social media (2013). Therefore, nowadays there is a heated debate about advantages and disadvantages about social networking’s influence on college students.

Obviously, there are a number of positive features on social networking. This kind of “soft addiction” and distraction was also confirmed by Zhang (2011) who conducted a survey by questionare of 500 Chinese college students from different schools and found that 33% students could not bear one-week life without social networking and 77% students could not help themselves accessing social networking site during classes. the tutor and making notes instead of having instant messaging running in classes.

As far as I’m concerned, the disadvantages far outweigh the advantages, especially in China, where social networking is used for communication and entertainment and seldom plays the educational role (Li, 2011). The priority of a college student is to study hard instead of being addicted to social networking.
