这个暑假，我们一家人来到了祖国大西北的敦煌的鸣沙山、月牙泉游玩。这次，让我深深体会到——旅游是快乐的。

我们来到景点，一眼望去，金黄的沙子好像是无尽的海洋。看到可以骑骆驼，我们赶紧来到售票处买票。买完票，我们走进了骆驼场。哇——那里趴着数不尽的骆驼，它们在等待我们去骑呢!

Since I went to college, I have made many friends and we shared the same interest. My friends and I liked traveling so much. We decided to travel abroad. The destination was Thailand. We spent ten days there and had a nice trip. It was such an unforgettable trip, and I learned a lot.

Jacques Cousteau decided to tell people how important it was to save the environment under the sea. He started the“ Cousteau Society ” to help protect life in the sea. Now there are over 30000 members all over the world. Since water covers most of the earth, Cousteau knew that we should keep the sea clean. The Spring Festival, Chinese New Year,is the most important festival for all of us. Friend plays important role in our lives. Everyone needs his or her own

friends. Some people make friends easily but some do not. And “friend” means

differently to people. Some people think friends should stay together all the

time, but some others think that share and support is the real meaning of

friend. From my point of view, friend is the person who will always be with you

no matter what happens. It’s the person who can share your happiness as well as

sorrows.

Teacher is a great job in most students’ eyes. When they are asked what they want to be in the future, most will say they want to be a teacher and make a contribution to the society. Indeed, we have access to the teachers all the time and they have great influence on us. So being a teacher is a ideal job for most students, but for me, I want to be a librarian. Most companies would rather employ a low-educational specialized worker

than a this-years graduate from a well-known university. For companies, they are

more likely to choose the candidates with rich working experience. Apparently

enough, the training for young graduates usually costs them a large quantity of

time and money. In addition, the current education system brings on a lot of

bookworms who are adept in theoretical but not practical knowledge. Therefore,

it is hard for those graduates to complete the practical assignments

successfully and smoothly. This is one major reason why many graduates find it

to find suitable jobs.

An un-mandatory retirement age is another factor leading to the youth

unemployment for college graduates. Along with the improving of working

efficiency, proficient employees with rich and extensive working experience get

retired at a much later age. In this case, for young graduates, there are fewer

chances to get access to the jobs taken up by the older and more

experienced.

It seems we are living in the conflict between modern and traditional

cultures every day. Hearing the blaring of horns the moment you step out of your

house, seeing the so called "pop" the moment you open your eyes, you cant help

thinking, "Will the traditional culture be gradually lost?"

Many people believe so. They may put right in front of you all the

evidences they can dig out. They may argue that people are rushing to

restaurants instead of cooking at home, listening to pop music but not

traditional, wearing in a way people couldnt imagine ten years ago. Modern

people like the air of freedom, not to be restrained by traditions. They offer

this long list, only trying to confirm that this world is full of

fashion,competition and temptation and the traditional culture is fading and

will be lost at last.

Though we are now living in a world in which undeclared aggression, war,

hypocrisy, chicanery, anarchy are part of our daily life. Though this is a

skeptical age, and our faith has weakened, our confidence in some aspects of the

traditional culture should and would never be lost.

Wouldnt you agree that our traditional culture is always credited with

modesty, politeness and respectfulness, which have always been treasured for

more than five thousand years?Even in this modern world, people still admire

those with good manners, those who are polite to others or respectful to old

people.

artistic and our Chinese tea culture is always an appealing treasure to people

around the world?

So there may just be some changes in our lifestyle or our attitudes towards

life, but little change occurs to some fundamental aspects of our traditional

The Culture of China is home to one of the worlds oldest and most complex

civilizations. China boasts a history rich in over 5,000 years of artistic,

philosophical, political, and scientific advancement. Though regional

differences provide a sense of diversity, commonalities in language and religion

connect a culture distinguished by such significant contributions such as

Confucianism and Taoism. Confucianism was the official philosophy throughout

most of Imperial Chinas history and strongly influenced other countries in East

Asia. Mastery of Confucian texts provided the primary criterion for entry into

the imperial bureaucracy.

With the rise of Western economic and military power beginning in the

mid-19th century, Western systems of social and political organization gained

adherents in China. Some of these would-be reformers rejected Chinas cultural

legacy, while others sought to combine the strengths of Chinese and Western

cultures.

China is a unified nation consisting of many different ethnic groups.

Fifty-six different ethnic groups make up the great Chinese national family.

Because the Han people accounts for more than ninety percent of Chinas

population, the remaining fifty-five groups are generally referred to as "ethnic

minorities." Next to the majority Han, the Mongolian, Hui, Tibetan, and Uygur

peoples comprise the largest ethnic groups. Although Chinas ethnic minorities

do not account for a large portion of the population, they are distributed over

a vast area, residing in every corner of China.

Particularly since the implementation of Chinas opening and reform policy,

the central government has increased investment in minority areas and

accelerated their opening to the outside world. This has resulted in an upsurge

of economic development in these areas. Each of Chinas ethnic minority groups

possesses a distinctive culture. The Chinese government respects minority

customs, and works to preserve, study, and collate the cultural artifacts of

Chinas ethnic minority groups. The government vigorously supports the

development of minority culture and the training of minority cultural workers,

and fosters the development of traditional minority medicine.

The relation among Chinas ethnic groups can be described as "overall

integration, local concentration, mutual interaction." Concentrations of ethnic

minorities reside within predominantly Han areas, and the Han people also reside

in minority areas, indicating that there has been extensive exchanges among

Chinas ethnic groups since ancient times. With the development of the market

economy, interaction among ethnic groups has become even more active in the

areas of government, economics, culture, daily life, and marriage. Linked by

interdependence, mutual assistance, and joint development, their common goals

and interests creating a deep sense of solidarity, Chinas ethnic groups

resemble a great national family, together building Chinese civilization.

Mother is kind, she taught me at an early age to be honest, treat people to

Travels on Holidaysin China

Nowadays， more and more people like to travel in their holidays. The other day I read a report about the ways people spend their holidays. It is reported that in recent yiars several new holiday habits have been developed. Among them， the most interesting one is the growth of the so-called holiday camps.

From the report we can see that in 20XX，40 percent of people stayed at home for holidays. But now the proportion has reduced to 9 percent. More people go out for fun. The proportion of camping and traveling abroad was increasing steadily， from 10 percent in 20XX to 38 percent in 20XX， and 12 percent in 20XX to 26 percent in 20XX respectively. People enjoy the fresh air， clean Water and green hills when they go camping in the suburbs. In 20XX，38 percent people enjoyed going to the seaside while in 20XX only 27 percent prefer to go there. Why did those changes appear? I think there are several reasons. First， it s because people can afford traveling. Second， people prefer to pursue a high-quality and colorful life. I plan to go there by train and (go)back by bus,this will cost me fifty yuan.Besides that,I will stay there for about three days,in other words,I need to live in the hotel for two nights.This will cost me forty yuan.Also I need to pay about forty-five yuan for my own meal. After knocking out all these fees,I still have about seventy yuan left.I am going to buy some presents for my parents.
