Since I went to middle school, I grew up very fast. On the one hand, I live

Mid-Autumn Festival (also known as the Moon Festival), the third major festival of the Chinese calendar, is celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th month, as the moon is supposed to be at its maximum brightness for the entire year.

I arrived in ShangHai at about 2 oclock,and immediately took a No.5 bus to the sea area.The beautiful blue sea was so large that I couldnt see the other side of it.After getting off the bus,I went straight to the shore.Taking off my shoes,I put my feet into the water.The water was cool,and walking in the water was such a great joy that I didnt want to stop.Then I collected shells.When it got dark,I sat on the shore,watching the sea.The night scene was simply marvelous!

Finally I had to go back.It was an unforgettable day in my life.

Mid-Autumn Festival The 15th day of the 8th lunar month The joyousMid-Autumn Festival was celebrated on the fifteenth day of the eighth moon， around the time of the autumn equinox（秋分）。 Many referred to it simply as the "Fifteenth of the Eighth Moon".This day was also considered as a harvest festival since fruits，vegetables and grain had been harvested by this time and food was abundant. Special foods for the festival included moon cakes， cooked taro（芋头）and water caltrope（菱角）， a type of water chestnut resembling black buffalo horns. Some people insisted that cooked taro beincluded because at the time of creation， taro was the first food discovered at night in the moonlight.
