During last summer vacation I paid a visit to my uncle’s. It was the first time I had seen the sea. Tow years ago my uncle a closed friend of my father transferred from Shanxi to Yantai a beautiful port city; and then my aunt joined him a couple months later. And a year later I became their guest and was going to stay with them for a week. I was fascinated by the vastness of the sea the clean and soft sand on the beach the seagulls flying in the sky and the beauty of the golden sunset clouds over the dark blue water. But I missed the sunrise each day for I couldn’t get up early enough.

On the fifth day the alarm clock woke me up when it was still dark outside I hurried to the beach and stood in the cool breeze there the sky was turning grey little by little the sea was calm and all was so quiet that I felt I was surrounded by mysteries then suddenly in the faraway horizon golden beans of light were shooting up into the sky. A moment later a corner of the sun appeared. The sun was rising very slowly and reluctantly as if it was unwilling to leave the sea. At last the entire sun lay on the horizon so big and so red it looked like a huge ripe orange or a tender half-boiled yolk. It hesitated and shivered a moment then said goodbye to the sea and rose into the air. The scene was very beautiful touching and magnificent which I’ll never forget.

The Pilgrims set ground at Plymouth Rock on December 11, 1620. Their first winter was devastating. And the remaining colonists decided to celebrate with a feast -- including 91 Indians who

had helped the Pilgrims survive their first year. It is believed that the Pilgrims would not have made it through the year without the help of the natives. The feast was more of a traditional English harvest festival than a true "thanksgiving" observance. It lasted three days.

It wasnt until June of 1676 that another Day of Thanksgiving was proclaimed.

清明节是中国的传统节日。今天，我们城北学校四大队全体师生来到了平江县烈士陵园，举行清明节祭扫活动。

清晨，我早早地来到了烈士陵园，薄雾还未散去，高高矗立的纪念碑、道路两旁整齐肃穆的松柏都笼罩在轻纱里。一进大门，就是一条笔直的沥青路，路的尽头是一个圆形广场，广场中央有一座雕像，雕像上每个人神情严肃，目光眺望着远方，仿佛看到了革命胜利的曙光。中间有一位叔叔，抱着一位已经死去的孩子，但他的目光依然坚定。看着这个雕塑，我心中感慨万千、沉重不已。圆形广场四周有一些松柏树木，好像一位位士兵守护着那些为革命牺牲的热血儿女。

“集合啦!集合啦”!老师的呼声把我从思绪中唤回。上到台阶的最顶端，我们拍了一张集体照。拍完照，我站在献词方阵里静静地等待。活动开始了，献词、献花、默哀一分钟……活动一个环节接一个环节有条不紊地进行着。在默哀一分钟里，我心里在想，为了现在的和平安宁，有多少革命先烈长眠于地下，是他们用自己的鲜血换来了今天的美好生活，祖国不会忘记他们!历史不会忘记他们!默哀结束后，我们排着长队瞻仰烈士碑林，我认真的记着他们的名字，仔细地看着他们的资料，突然我发现一块墙壁上写着烈士英名录，上面的名字成千上万，这时我才领悟到有多少人在抗战时，失去了自己的宝贵的生命，失去了自己的房子，失去了自己的父母妻儿。

通过这次的扫墓活动，我深深的懂得了，我们是时代的幸运儿，我们要好好珍惜今天来之不易的幸福生活，发奋读书，增强本领，将来好好地报效祖国。

穿过一个大石圆门，首先映入眼帘的是一座条色古香的长廊出现了，一些走累了的人们正坐在里面休息。长廊它将“元宝湖”半包围起来，就象是忠诚的卫士，“元宝湖”在长廊的护卫下波光粼粼更加灵动。桃花已经含苞欲放了，鼓囊囊的花苞似乎快爆开了一样，湖边柳树上柳树芽儿还没有长全，先长出的一些也是又嫩又小，摸在手上舒服极了。远远望去，这些柳树既像一个个婀娜多姿的美丽演员，这湖面便是她们的大展身手的舞台，她们在这尽情地表演，展示着自己优美的舞姿。又像许多爱美的公主，把湖面当成了梳妆镜，各自欣赏着自己貌若天仙的面貌，还有几位也许是太要漂亮了，身子都长到了湖面上，似乎是在想“瞧瞧这身子，多优美，我这沉鱼落雁闭月羞花的摸样，你们有么?”

我们绕着元宝漫步，发现了一簇簇的生长着的迎春花。他们似乎和小草一样，还没有完全听见春姑娘的呼唤，大多数还沉浸在梦乡里。只有少数的一些已经伸开了懒腰，朝着我们咧着笑脸，仿佛在说：“哈哈哈，春天来啦，哈哈哈，大地醒啦!”这些美丽可爱的小东西，稀稀拉拉的掩映在绿藤蔓之间，尽管不是金黄的一片，但每朵却开的是那么美丽，那么动人，花瓣嫩黄嫩黄的中间点上一个黄里透红的小蕊，这种情景，不也是一道亮丽的风景线么?

“元宝湖”西面是依泰山而建的`岳王庙，山上栽种着茂盛的树木花草。这泰山又叫“锅巴山”，这还名字还需要从一个故事说起：有一年，岳家军被金军围困在这，岳飞急中生智，让军士们赶忙建起一座土山，把剩下的粮食制成锅巴，撒在上面，任麻雀来啄食，金兵发现麻雀肚子里全是锅巴!便认为岳家军粮草充足，赶紧逃走了。所以每当看到这山，我对岳飞的敬佩之情总是油然而生。岳飞不光是泰州的英雄，更是国家的英雄。

在“元宝湖”北面我们发现了几尊明朝的石像，有石马、石羊、石人等，听妈妈这些石像代表了一位官员的生前职位，而这些石像的主人是一位兵部侍郎。泰州是个一个有着20xx多年悠久历史的古城，历史人才辈出，这些石像就是一个见证。

我和妈妈畅游在泰山公园这个充满了生机的了绿色海洋，初春的绿是多样的，有的绿的。

水果多种多样，有黄色的鸭梨，红通通的苹果，有粉红色的桃子……但我最喜欢的就是绿色的葡萄了。

它的.茎细而长，绿色的茎上面还有许多叉口。葡萄一串一串的挂在叉口上。葡萄挨挨挤挤的，好像珍珠一样。有的才长出一两颗小葡萄;有的长地好像宝石，晶莹透明;有的还却是最大的葡萄，好好像是小孩玩的弹珠，让人爱不释手。

这些葡萄胀得马上要破裂似的，它们的皮上还有些薄薄的白纱。

这些葡萄皮上还有许多“青春痘”，我心里开始嘀咕：“这葡萄都长了这么多“青春痘”，好不好吃呀呢!”这时，我听见家人说：“太好吃了，真是人间美味呀!”“太好吃了，再吃一个!”我开始犹豫：“吃还是不吃呢?”但我还是被它那晶莹透明的外表诱惑。我剥开外皮，开始吃，它那黏手的果汁的清香久久的在我的喉咙里回荡!我又拿了一颗，用手摸着它，觉得凉丝丝，光滑的外表又诱惑我……

看着吃着，我也觉得自己就是一颗葡萄，挂在枝上。一阵微风吹过，我就翩翩起舞，不光是我一颗，一串的葡萄都在舞蹈。风过了，我停止了舞蹈，静静的挂在那。蜻蜓飞过来告诉我清早飞行的见闻，小鸟从天空掠过，告诉我昨夜做的好梦。

过了一会，我才回过神来，我不是葡萄，我是在吃葡萄呢!

在今天早上的时候，阴雨蒙蒙，我们五年级的同学们都一起来到了人民公园的烈士纪念碑扫墓。这是一次有意义的扫墓令我永生难忘。

当我们到人民公园之后，就顺着石阶来到了高高的烈士纪念碑前，只见纪念碑的四周都是小白花，和一个个大大的花圈。来扫墓的人很多，有老人，有学生，也有一些年轻人，人虽然很多，但大家都非常有秩序。主持人宣布活动开始后，我们便站在烈士纪念碑下为烈士们默哀。大家都低着头，一动不动的站着，面容严肃，谁都不说一句话，纪念碑下一片寂静。我深深的为烈士们的死感到遗憾，没有他们血与汗的奉献，就没有今天的幸福生活，就没有昌茂繁荣的新中国。

接下来，我们的几十名少先队员还为还为烈士们献词。大家都读得特别的大声，特别有感情，希望那些壮烈牺牲的战士们也能够听见。最后，同学们绕纪念碑一圈，纷纷向烈士们敬礼，并献上了自己亲手制作的小白花，愿英雄们安息。少先队员们都举起右臂宣誓，发誓要以烈士们为榜样，好好学习，将来为祖国作出奉献。时间一分一秒的过去了，扫墓仪式也已经完毕了，我们恋恋不舍地离开了纪念碑，我又回头望了望高高的纪念碑，一股暖流涌进心头，安息吧，英雄!

这一次这么有意义的扫墓真是令人难忘啊!

今天是清明节，上午我和哥哥、妈妈、爸爸、姥姥一起回老家扫墓。 Today is the Qingming Festival.

在路上，我发现路的两旁有许多又高又粗的柏树，大约有六层楼那么高，大约有碗口那么粗。抬头一看，我惊讶地跳了起来，原来是像龙卷风样的鸟巢，大的不能相信自己的眼睛。不远处就有一个，甚至一棵树上还有两个鸟巢，一边走一边数，一共有三十多个。我多想让车停下来，在有鸟巢的树上做个记号，等我放了暑假来看看鸟蛋和小鸟。

我又发现柳树不但发芽了，还长出了嫩绿的小叶子，多像妈妈辫的长辫子，十分好看。正在我欣赏风景的时候，不幸的事情发生了，我哥哥想哕：“停车，我想哕。”可我爸爸却说：“忍者。”不过，我和妈妈还是把方便袋准备好了。过了一会儿，我看我哥哥有点不对劲儿，就说：“不如快拿方便袋。”我们把方便袋撑住之后，我哥哥就哗哗地吐了，可能是我没撑好，流到了我、我妈、我爸的裤子上，我爸真是倒霉透了，因为袋子漏了，他的裤子都湿了，于是我们急忙开开车门让他站在外边吐，他吐完之后我们又上路了。

不知不觉到麦地，绿油油的麦子，微风一吹像绿色的波浪。再往前走，看见了三个用土围起来的土堆，原来那就是坟地。妈妈说：“这个就是你老爷的坟，前面的是你太老的，再前面的是你太太老的。妈妈小的时候，吃不饱，穿不暖，都是你老爷省吃俭用供妈妈上学，才有今天，为了纪念他，每到清明节都来上坟。”妈妈嘴里一边说保佑全家平安，一边从篮子里拿出了纸钱和元宝，点燃后冒出了一股烟，好像那边已经收到了，还有供品烧鸡、香蕉、白酒等。我作了个揖，磕了四个头。

我们吃了一顿丰盛的午饭，又玩了一会儿，就走了，在路上我睡了一觉，还做了一个梦，梦见老爷让我吃香蕉，这一觉真长。等我醒来后问妈妈：“到濮阳了吗?”妈妈说：“正好到了。”

尽管我已经累得筋疲力尽了，但我还是很高兴，因为我学到了很多知识。

“五岳归来不看山，黄山归来不看岳”。前年，我终于有幸领略到了天下第一奇山——黄山的奇绝。

黄山以奇松、怪石、云海、温泉、冬雪五绝闻名于世。内有72峰、1500种植物、500种动物、为5A级旅游风景区。

前年暑假，我们全家人去了黄山。首先，我们看到的是五绝中的奇松当中的一种——迎客松，它扎根在山崖中，一棵棵枝如铁、干如铜，可它扎根在山崖中，一棵棵如铁、如铜，可它的枝丫又像一只只手在热情欢迎每一位客人的到来。据说，黄山还有陪客松、送客松等十大名松。过去还曾有人编写了《名松谱》，上面记载着成千上万的名松，真是“无树不松，无石不松，无松不奇，无奇不有。”

沿着一个个台阶往上爬，我们看到了许多怪石，看，这个“金鸡叫天门”，一只金鸡正立在那儿像要展翅高飞呢!但往上走一会儿，朝下一看，那只金鸡摇身一变，变成了五位白发苍苍的长胡须老人，所以又名“五老上天都”。旁边的“飞来石”、“苏武牧羊”等怪石也是形态各异、栩栩如生。

现在满头大汗的我们经过几番辛苦总算到了黄山的中心：玉屏楼。走上去往下看，变化多端的云海尽收眼底。休息了一会儿，我们继续向上走，来到了瀑布下。雄伟的瀑布的水像白绸带往下落，可是声音却震耳欲聋，似火山爆发，如惊涛拍岸，真是壮观。古人赞曰：飞泉不让匡庐瀑，峭壁撑天挂九龙。

又爬了许多台阶，气喘吁吁的我们用汗水撒满了一路的惊叹与快乐。终于爬上了黄山的顶峰——光明顶，踩着白云往下看，那如诗如画如梦似幻的黄山图，我们醉了……
