Neighborhoods in Chinese cities join up to cook and eat Laba porridge. Qi Guifeng, 75, is an organizer of one such public meal in Hangzhou. She called in several senior citizens in her community to buy the materials and serve the porridge in the communitys public yard.

"We get together to do a good thing and have fun. We are glad our neighbors can have a bowl of hot porridge," Zhang Meiqin, one of Qis neighbors, said.

Dragon Boat race Traditions At the center of this festival are the dragon boat races. Competing teams drive their colorful dragon boats forward to the rhythm of beating drums. And the TV shows are pushing this more far ahead. They will set some interactive sessions to encourage people use the social network service on their cell phone to get some bonus. So even TV time people still stick to their cell phone and have no word for others sitting around. Seems like the social network service is completely replace the normal communication offline. From the result of this survey, we know that 29.6 percent of the people are surveyed think that whether they help the old or not will according to the circumstance. The people who will help the old are the most ,they accounted for 64.8 percent of them. And also have 8.3 percent hold the view that the old shouldn’t be help.

Why don’t they help the old falls down on the street? 5.3 percent of them are lack of medical knowledge. And 7.2 percent of them think that it’s not related to them. But the major, 87.4 percent of them are afraid of getting themselves into trouble.

Through this result, we can see clearly that crisis of confidence between people. Sincere and confidence are replaced by dishonest and hypocritical. Cautious and alert are deeply rooted.
