The Great Wall of China

The Great Wall of China is called the "Ten thousand Ii Great Wall" in Chinese. In fact, it s more than 6 000 kilometres long. It winds its way from west to east, across deserts, over mountains, through valleys till at last it reaches the sea. It is one of the wonders of the world.

The Great Wall has a history of over twenty centuries. The first part of it was built during the Spring and Autumn Period. During the Warring States Period, more walls were put up to defend the borders of the different kingdoms. It was during the Qin Dynasty that the kingdom of Qin united the dif ferent parts into one empire. To keep the enemy out of his empire, Emperor Qin Shi Huang had all the walls joined up. The Great Wall is wide enough at the top for five horses or ten men to walk side by side. Along the wall are watchtowers, where soldiers used to keep watch. Fires were lit on the the towers as a warning when the enemy came.

It was very difficult to build such a wall in the ancient days without any modern machines. All the work was done by hand. Thousands of men died and were buried under the wall they built. The Great Wall was made not only of stone and earth, but of the flesh and blood of millions of men.

Today the Great Wall has become a place of interest not only to the Chinese but to people from all over the world. Many of them have come to know the famous Chinese saying: "He who does not reach the Great Wall is not a true man."

我登上了一架歼击机，感受到了空军战士飞上蓝天时的感觉。走进了驾驶舱，看到了有许多像水表模样的仪表装置，它们正在显示着飞机的飞行高度、飞行速度、飞行方向，还看到了两个飞行控制器，我坐在飞行员的座位上，模仿着飞行员的样子来操控飞机起飞。哇!飞机好像真的飞起来了，我看到了白色纱巾般的云朵，红气球一样的太阳和一只只可爱的小鸟。

参观完南航后，我更坚定了我10年后的目标：从现在起就要好好学习，10年后的高考时，争取成为南京航空航天大学的主人!我相信，只要我坚持不懈地努力，就一定能实现我的这个美好的梦想!

The word "discovery" literally means, uncovering something thats hidden from view. But what really happens is a change in the viewer. The familiar offers comfort few can resist, and fewer still want to disturb. But as relatively recent inventions such as the telescope and microscope have taught us, the unknown has many layers. When I am making mistakes, my parents will never be angry with me. I am so thankful to them for they are so tolerant with me. I learn many things from my parents, they show me how to be a tolerant person. They will not blame me for the small mistake that I make, instead, they will educate me in the gentle way. 政府工作报告里的新词汇“工匠精神”，这几日备受关注。“工匠精神”的理念就是从容独立、踏实务实;摒弃浮躁、宁静致远;精致精细，执着专一。

当下，“中国制造”正在向“中国智造”强力迈进，我们要补上“工匠精神”这一课，让它为中国腾飞，做出积极担当。

从容独立、踏实务实。“欲速则不达”、“萝卜快了不洗泥”告诉我们，无论是企业发展、人的发展，太强调“快”和“立竿见影”，注定会留下粗糙、浮躁的印记。无法让人永久记住。因此，需要在踏踏实实方面下功夫：不贪多求快，不好高骛远，不眼花缭乱，不惜力，不怕费事。甚至费尽周折没有收获也无怨无悔，不轻言放弃，用一步一个脚印的精神，艰苦磨练，产品和技能才能不断攀越，走向精致。比如“大国工匠”胡双钱，在自己的行业干了35年，“在车间里，他从不挑活，什么活都干，通过完成各种各样的急件、难件，他的技术能力也在慢慢积累和提高”。

摒弃浮躁、宁静致远。也就是所谓的职业心境的从容淡泊：外边的世界很热闹，自己却不轻易盲从;灯红酒绿中的诱惑很多，自己却坚守“初心”，一切“走心”，像田野一样安静，像诗歌一样平和。“静能生慧”，“静能生乐”，所以，工匠们才能把更多的时间投入到枯燥的专业发展中，拥有不知疲倦的技术性快乐。让技术发展，离浅入深，不断飞跃。比如“大国工匠”毛腊生，是给导弹铸造衣服的人，在现实生活中，却“很无趣，甚至连个爱好都没有，有时甚至连表达都成问题”。“39年，他只做了一件事——读懂砂子，铸好导弹”。他将“木讷”当做淡定，将“无趣”当做安静，浮躁少了，当然就能造就技术的辉煌。

精致精细，执着专一。《尚书?大禹谟》有云：“人心惟危，道心惟微;惟精惟一，允执厥中。”在技术竞争、人才竞争白热化的当下，要想谋求更辉煌的成果，“差不多的思维”要不得，它会让自己流于庸俗，止于轻薄、肤浅和粗糙。发展思想不精细，产品就上不了档次。所以，我们要有 “人有我优”的技术追求，选定一个目标，努力用一生的时间和更多的精力，精心打造，永不放弃，不遗余力，精益求精，甚至用强迫一样的思维，让技术和产品“从99%到99.99%”的过程中，迂回推进，不厌其烦，努力坚守，把每一个生产产品，当作工艺品一样精雕细刻、耐心打磨。久而久之，就能创造出与众不同的发展奇迹、震撼效应。比如“大国工匠”胡双钱，“在35年里加工过数十万个飞机零件，在这里面没有出现过一个次品。”精细到了何种程度，由此可见一斑。

人人都有“工匠精神”，“中国智造”、中国品质，自然就能更上一层楼。

她有着五千年的文明历史，她像一条腾飞的巨龙屹立在世界的东方，她就是伟大的、神圣不可侵犯的----中国。

中国是一个文明古国，已有数不清的文人志士在历史的道路上留下了自己的足迹：荆轲刺秦王的壮举；办事公平，执法严明的好宰相狄仁杰；名医李时珍；神机妙算的诸葛亮；著名诗人李白、白居易;大发明家祖冲之；女皇帝武则天；天文学家张衡；大禹治水；秦始皇等等。

如今的中国，城市让生活越来越美好，到处都是车水马龙。随着时代的发展，各个城市都在不同程度的打造“步行5分钟能够到达一个便利连锁店，骑车10分钟能到达一个卖场，开车15分钟能到达一个购物中西或者中心商圈”这样便利的购物环境。

让我们的农村更美丽！很多年前，农村只有泥泞路，污水垃圾随处可见；农家院子里堆满杂物，到处都有家畜的粪便。如今，农村街道上很少有污水、垃圾；泥泞路逐渐被水泥路代替农民也住进了整齐的楼房

走进今天的校园，相信你一定会惊叹不已！如今校园的.美丽堪比公园、美丽的家。每个人都希望我们的家园更美好更温馨。“我爱我家”让我们大声喊出来。让我们的校园和家园更美丽!

虽然发展很迅速，但是发展带来的交通问题、发展带来的污染、发展带来的资源短缺。。。。。。也是不可忽视的。如今我们也在倡导绿色出行，譬如周末，我们可以骑自行车出行，既锻炼身体了又减少汽车尾气的排放对环境造成的影响，何乐而不为呢？随着历史文明的进步也有不可忽视的破坏自然环境的一面：树木过多的砍伐、随地乱扔垃圾和果皮、工业污水的排放。。。。。。生态环境逐渐被破坏，许多小动物都失去了家园。没有了适合它们居住的环境，有些动物甚至濒临灭绝。。。。。。我们是祖国的花朵，是未来的主人，不能眼睁睁的看着生态环境被破坏、家园被破坏。所以，从现在开始，我们要保护环境，从我做起，从小事做起。让我们的祖国更加美丽。

我心中的美丽中国应该是这样的——天蓝地绿、山清水净、空气清新、鸟语花香、环境优美。。。。。。
