They seem like a perfect solution to China’s traffic-clogged streets and toxic air: Bikesharing schemes.

They’ve exploded in popularity in past 12 months, with brightly colored bikes owned by several different companies flooding China’s major cities. Residents can rent them via apps on their smartphones.

But some local authorities say the bikes have become a nuisance and one Shanghai district has confiscated almost 5,000 bikes and impounded them in a parking lot. Striking aerial photos of the orange, yellow, blue, green bikes were widely shared by Internet users in China last week.

Despite making citizens’ lives easier, the overwhelming number of shared bikes has paralyzed existing bike parking and management, a statement from the Huangpu district government said.

The unregulated parking and riding has caused constant problems and complaints. A guard who works at the Shanghai parking lot told CNN that traffic police had confiscated the bikes because they had been illegally parked. He added that the bikes were from seven different bikesharing companies.

A spokesperson for bikeshare operator Mobike said it had reclaimed its bikes "after consulting with the government." To prevent the problem happening again, he said the Mobike app would have a new feature from next week that recommended designated parking spots.

A spokesperson for ofo, one of the companies whose bikes were confiscated in Shanghai said "some coworkers are following up on the situation" and declined to give further details. The company has one million bikes in operation nationwide. Bluegogo, another bikesharing company, didn’t reply to a CNN request for comment.

Bikesharing is hardly new, but what makes it unique in China is that its usually station free -- which means that users can technically leave the bikes anywhere they want.

It’s also cheap. It costs just 0.5 to 1 yuan ($0.07-$0.15) for a 30-minute ride.

Shanghai is not the only city in China where bikesharing has had teething problems. More than 500 bikes rented out by bikesharing firms were left piled up in the southern city of Shenzhen in January, the South China Morning Post reported.

A month after I graduated from high school in August, 2013, I was coming home from swim_practice in the training centre of the city and was involved in a car accident. I was so seriously injured that I was in a coma for more than two months at Prince Georges Hospital.

That was ten years ago. Im a successful business person now and whenever I get down and think about the troubles of the world， I think about that little girl and the remarkable lesson about life that she taught me.

Today was my friend’s birthday, and I was invited to her birthday party.

The party was so great and the theme was red color. I saw many pictures of Hello

Kitty. They were so lovely. We sang the song to her and played a lot of funny

games. At last, we sent our best wishes to her. We had a great time.

As is well known by now throughout the world Harvey Ball, a commercial artist from Worcester, Massachusetts created the smiley face in 1963. That image went on to become the most recognizable symbol of good will and good cheer on the planet.

As the years passed Harvey Ball became concerned about the over-commercialization of his symbol, and how its original meaning and intent had become lost in the constant repetition of the marketplace. Out of that concern came his idea for World Smile Day. He thought that we, all of us, should devote one day each year to smiles and kind acts throughout that world. The smiley face knows no politics, no geography and no religion. Harvey’s idea was that for at least one day each year, neither should we. He declared that the first Friday in October each year would henceforth be World Smile Day.

The very first World Smile Day took place in Worcester, MA on October 1, 1999. What a celebration it was! State and local dignitaries gathered and read proclamations in support of the day. Another proclamation recognizing the day was read on the floor of the United States Congress and is now part of the Congressional Record, the reporter of the official proceedings of the US Congress. Thousands of Worcester school children created World Smile Day® cards that were then delivered to area hospitals and nursing homes. The event became national and even international news.

The US Postal service came to Worcester that day to unveil its new Smiley Face stamp design. And, the Postal Service issued a special cancellation just for that event. Each year since then the USPS has issued a different cancellation commemorating the day.

In his inaugural address on that very first World Smile Day Harvey Ball laid the groundwork for that World Smile Day saying that the smiley face “…just reflects what is inside every one of us – a smile is what we want to see when we look at another human being.” He said, “Sometimes we forget that. Sometimes the world seems big and filled with problems that are too hard to understand much less solve. We start to believe that we are too small to make a difference. But that’s not true. The truth is that every one of us has the ability to make a difference every day.”

Harveys hometown of Worcester, MA has been and continues to be the epicenter for World Smile Day.

Through observation, I found that plastic bags on peoples harm and pollution is very large. People often use plastic bags: mother to buy food and plastic bags; to shopping malls with plastic bags; in the restaurant to eat rice is also packaged with plastic bags to take home; even I buy stationery also with plastic bags. People do not know what they do to the environment caused by pollution, their own body caused any harm. Such as: people often put useless plastic bags thrown into the garbage, plastic bags in the rubbish will be smelly, so that the pollution of the air. People also throw plastic bags anywhere, a wind, plastic bags flying in the sky, the branches also see the tree is a plastic bag, and even the river there are plastic bags. This plastic bag in addition to pollution of the air, but also polluted our water resources.

We should raise peoples awareness, tell us the neighbors and friends and family together to beautify our environment. On the road to see the plastic bag quickly picked up, immediately took it to the garbage disposal. We want to start from my use less plastic bags, so that my mother every day to buy food or shopping when they first take their own bags, this is not very environmentally friendly? Or can use their own holding things as far as possible by hand, no plastic bags.

As the saying goes: "to protect the environment, everyone is responsible" We have to protect the home environment out of a force.
