普陀山的英文介绍

古迹的小岛，在我国可以说是绝无仅有。普陀山位于浙江省杭州湾以东约100海里，是舟山群岛中的一个小岛。全岛面积12.5平方公里，呈狭长形，南北最长处为8.6里，东西最宽外3.5公里。最高处佛顶山，海拔约300米。

普陀山的海天景色，不论在哪一个景区、景点，都使人感到海阔天空。虽有海风怒号，浊浪排空，却并不使人有惊涛骇浪之感，只觉得这些异景厅观使人振奋。

Bizarre rocks and queer cliffs can be seen everywhere. It is believed that the Palace Museum， or Zi Jin Cheng (Purple Forbidden City)， got its name from astronomy folklore， The ancient astronomers divided the constellations into groups and centered them around the Ziwei Yuan (North Star) 。 The constellation containing the North Star was called the Constellation of Heavenly God and star itself was called the purple palace。 Because the emperor was supposedly the son of the heavenly gods， his central and dominant position would be further highlighted the use of the word purple in the name of his residence。 In folklore， the term “an eastern purple cloud is drifting” became a metaphor for auspicious events after a purple cloud was seen drifting eastward immediately before the arrival of an ancient philosopher， LaoZi， to the Hanghu Pass。 Here， purple is associated with auspicious developments。 The word jin (forbidden) is self-explanatory as the imperial palace was heavily guarded and off-explanatory as the imperial palace was heavily guarded and off-limits to ordinary people。

有一次，我被老师出的一道数学中考题目难住了，放学已有半小时，我还一丝不动地坐在座位上，同学几次催我赶快回家，反正这道题老师是让有能力的同学完成，而我的回答只有一个：“你先走，我把这道题做完再回家”。等我做出满意的答案后，抬起头想去找老师探讨时，教室里已经是空荡荡的了。在我的学习生活中，有过这样多少次类似的情景，连我自己也记不清楚了。我深知，学习不是一件轻而易举的事，只有付出艰辛劳动的人，才会有所收获，才能取得成功。

在老师的眼里我就是一个得力助手，什么事情交给我，我都会尽力做的最好。老师不在的时候，我会代替老师很好的管理班级，当老师来到班里面的时候，我已经打理得井井有条，一点也不用老师来操心。

我有一个爱好，那就是喜欢看书。记得有一天上午，妈妈叫我剥蚕豆，我答应了。我一边剥蚕豆一边看书，妈妈看见了，哈哈大笑。我疑惑不解地说：“妈妈，你笑什么?”妈妈回答说：“你自已看一看吧!”我连忙低下头一看，我也忍不住笑了起来，原来我把豆壳和豆肉混在一起了。当然，这是我的一个缺点。以后，无论做什么事情都要认真，全神贯注。

我认为“优秀少先队员”这个称号是令每一个学生最引以为豪的。因为这不仅是一个学生实力的象征，我有许多优点，也有许多缺点。我以后要改正这些缺点，取人之长，补己之短。我要改变自我，做一个新的我。而且对自己今后的不断进取有着源源不断地推动力，让我把每一件事情都尽力完成的最好，在自己进步的路上吸取更多人的长处，更好的完善自己，就像我的座右铭“取众人之长，长于众人”，成为一个真正的优秀少先队员!

I am Sally， Everyday

I am very busy. I have too many rules in my house. I have to get up at six o’clock every morning. I must have my breakfast at 7:00 o’clock . I can’t meet my friends after school because I have to walk my dog.(.溜狗) I can’t watch TV on school nights. And I have to be in bed by 10:00 o’clock. On weekends, I have

to make my bed and clean my room. Then I have to wash the dishes. Later I have to go to the Children’s Palace to learn the guitar. I love music. But I can’t listen to music at home .I never have any fun. My life is so boring. What can I do ?

Hi,everybody. Good to be here. Facing the audience, a thought occured to me. Mama has alway told me not to make a fool in public. But somehow I just couldnt follow what she said exactly. Well some people always treat me as a crazy loon. For Im never part of any crowd and have some dreams far-off look. Id even crash into someone with my nose stuck in a book. Now Im standing on the stage, giving a speech in English. Circumstance being that Im pretty nervous. Maybe some guy would just think that itd embarass me as frightened speechless. Never mind. Im always good for a laugh.
