How I Spent My Summer Vacation

The summer vacation had come round again. I was happy that I could forget about school at least for a while. Lest I fool around all through this summer vacation, I made a plan as to how to spend it. First, I thought I should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that I could have a better understanding of them. Then I thought I should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running and rowing, to keep me physically strong. It stood to reason that with such a good plan I should make the best of my vacation time. I did, because I lived up to what I had planned.

Nowadays, some discussions about the childrens education and management

have raised the whole social concern. It seems not only about childrens

personal development, but also about the whole countrys future.

There are two main views in debate, which of them is that children should

obey the rules set by parents and teachers. The other is that less control will

help children to deal with their future adult life.

As for the former, the advantages of it seem to be very apparent, which of

them is that children can make a distinction between right and wrong things. And

they will have a sense of principle and responsibility. Of course, the

disadvantages are also very clear. Firstly, children will be lacking in

imagination and creation. Secondly, they cannot make up their mind on their

own.

Concerning the latter, the view seems to be reasonable because in this ways

these children are more clever and active to create something special. However,

the drawbacks couldnt be ignored as a result of a problem that children cannot

get a clear understanding of their lifetime.

Combining the both points, as far as Im concerned, parents and teachers

are supposed to instruct children to obey the primary principle when they do

some deeds. Moreover, children need more freedom to realize their dreams. Only

in this way can the problem be solved perfectly.

In conclusion, we cant only support one side simply. On the contrary, we

ought to choose different measures to educate children flexibly.

We are always educated to be an honest person, especially to our parents. While the fact is that every kid will lie to their parents in their lives. For me, my parents are very strict, I am not allowed to go out at night, because the news always reports the bad incidents happen at night. But night activity attracts me a lot, and my friends like to hang out for fun at night, so I choose to lie to my parents and tell them I am doing my homework with my friends. Now as I grow up, I realize it is not right to tell lies, so I decide to be honest to my parents. Once they realize that I am not a little kid anymore, then I will have my right to do what I want.

临近傍晚，我走出卧室想要去室外晒晒日落前的太阳，在我回家快半个月以来，我不知曾路过了多少次的转角，却是此时太阳最为舒适的地方；几十厘米厚的混泥土废块，硬被我踩出了一个又一个深深的脚印，当我刚为这豆腐渣的材料感到叹息时，才发现我踩出的脚印只不过是那积累了多年的灰尘，就连这稀有的绿草和树叶也都变成了深灰色，如果不仔细看的话，还以为是穿插在混泥土里的一些废材料呢！

正当我为该在哪里落脚而烦恼时，不知从哪里窜出了几只小家伙，这几只小家伙很是招人喜欢，冲着你一个劲的在那儿摇晃着自己身后的那条小尾巴，有时还会兴奋的对着你“汪汪”直叫，向你讨要食物；但不巧的是我出门没有带食物的习惯，所以这几个小家伙在叫了几声后便没了兴致；他们大概是累了，也有可能是饿了，一只只软弱无力的躺在了一旁的电线杆阴影下，看它们瘦如骨柴的小身子就知道十有八九是被主人给抛弃了，在我们这里，抛弃小狗的事也不是没有，但也不常见，很少能看见大批量的流浪小狗，大多都是有主人的，偶尔有一两只也不会停留太多时间；这几个小家伙和大多数流浪狗一样，不是身患残疾就是普通品种（土狗）。

在这些小家伙里，有一只身材弱小的特别引人注意，它仿佛有一些害羞，当我忍不住将手伸出去想要抚摸它时，他都羞涩的躲到的电线杆的另一面，这电线杆也就一个成年人围起来的宽度，可刚好够完全遮挡住这只小小家伙的身子，这小小家伙时不时也伸出头来看看我，我只要稍微有一点动弹，它便又警惕的将头缩了回去，最后索性就睡在了电线杆的另一面；除了这只胆小羞涩的小家伙外，不得不说的就是眼前的这只小家伙了，它和其它几只差不多大，也很瘦弱，但它却也是这些小家伙中最不怕生人的，只要你一唤，他便第一个跑到你的面前，如果你把手放在它的面前，它便会将小鼻子放在你手里嗅来嗅去，寻找着那些能让它免于饥饿的食物，可最后它还是失望的离开了；可当你再次呼唤它时，它依然会兴高采烈的向你扑过来；反复几次，它的情绪也许会有所影响，但它永远不会停止，我想它们也是一样的。

这样一直看着它们不知过了多久，只是看了一眼天空才知道，太阳快要落山了，这里的日落除了带来寒冷和黑暗，再无其它的了；我随即也起身回了家，拿了些食物给那群小家伙，如果它们一直在这里，我便不会让它们饿死；也许你会问我为什么不直接把那群小家伙带回家？我只能说我一个人的力量是有限的，如果你家附近也有流浪狗，你也只能量力而行罢了！

Our home is near the school. We have a house.

It is a good house. The house has three rooms.

One is a living room. The other two are bedrooms. In the living room there is a table and six chairs. There are some flowers on the table. There is a garden in front of the house. Our house isnt big, but we like it.
