英语的学习也是个难题，在老师和同学的帮助下，我开始喜欢英语了，不论结果如何，我是有进步有收获的。在这个学期里我深深体会到：一切知识的学习、新鲜事物的接触都会对自己有指导作用，就看自己是不是用心去想它、真心想用它，一旦真正结合为自己的实际行动，我想一定会有很大的提高和升华。举个例子吧，比如：有一次我在考试的时候，做完了试卷，竟然打开我的小说书开始漫游，但是逃得过初一，逃不过十五，正当我津津有味地看书时，一个黑影步到了我的身旁，我大吃一惊，以迅雷不及掩耳之势把书藏了起来，老师从我身旁走过去，竟然没有看见我在看书，我立即起了侥幸心理，又端起我的"圣贤书"一心啃了起来，可是这次就没有上次这么好的运气了，老师走过来，我又把书塞进了课桌里，老师竟然看出了我的小把戏，把我的书没收了，这时的我真的是要哭了出来，在背后偷偷的说老师的种种不好，想起来真是惭愧。

还有一次，我在英语课上，我没有认真听讲，用手指当小人，两方小人开始了打架，打着打着总觉得有"危险"向我靠进。不错，卢老师来了，我赶紧假装开始做作业，做着做着"危机"过去了，我又开始玩"红色警戒"了，没想到的是，作业本上的题目我只做对了一半。第二天晚上，卢老师来了，竟然说了这样的一句话"我对你们做的作业本很不满意，错的题目抄四遍。"我彻底晕倒了，因为我错的题目太多了。

但是我的优点也是有不少的。有一次我在大街上走路，因为是雨天，地面比较滑，我到爷爷家的时候，马路上有一个小孩摔倒了，那时候我刚好下车，看见了这一情景，我的心都悬了起来，怎么办，我顾不得一切了，飞快地跑了过去一把扶起了他，周围的人都投来赞扬的目光，我环视了一下，周围有许多人，有抱着孩子的妇女，有白发苍苍的老爷爷，我说："没关系，我是少先队员，应该的。"说完，我就哼着小曲走了。

my dormitory room is on the second floor. it is small and crowded. the dark green walls and the dirty white ceiling make the room seem dark, and thus even smaller than it is, as youwalk into the room, you are stopped short by my bed which fills half of the room. the two large windows over the bed are hidden by heavy dark gold drapes. against the wall on your left, pushed into a corner behind the head of the bed, is a large bookcase which is crammed with papers, books, and knick-knacks, wedged in between the bookcase and the wall opposite the bed is a small grey metal desk. it has a brown wooden chair which seems to fill the left end of the room.stuffed under the desk is a wooden wastepaper basket overflowing with paper and debris. the wall above the bookcase and desk is completely taken up with two small posters. on the right hand of the room is a narrow closet with clothes,shoes, hats, tennis racquets, and boes bulging out of its sliding doors. everytime i walk out of the door, i think, now i know what it is like to live in a closet.

眼看着开学一天天来临，可我的作业堆得像山一样高，我一副理都不理的样子，可心里不知怎么的，痒痒的，很不舒服。但是，每次只要一提起笔，脑袋就像跟我作怪一样，一道题都做不起，我就这把珍贵的每一天浪费在吃、喝、玩、乐上面，没有哪一天坐在书桌前面认认真真写过字的。

今天，我一想到离开学还剩两天，我心里就闷得慌，于是来到书房里，我吐，这书房还像书房吗？地上垃圾堆满了，书桌上堆满了东西，屋里一片狼藉，这还像书房吗？于是我把书从书桌上搬下来，放在客厅，再用扫把把地上的垃圾扫了，我把抹布用温水打湿，拧干，我又跪着把地上擦得干干静静，我又拿来一块干抹布把地上擦干，我把书桌用湿抹布擦了一便，就按顺序把书放好，整理完后，我看了一眼我的书房，我不得不惊叹，我的书房实在是太美了，我正准备去写作业，却想起今天要去伯伯家。

不过，我获得了一个崭新的书房。

哦耶！终于到了暑假，可以睡个懒觉了，可刚到七点钟，我就被妈妈叫醒。为什么？还得听我慢慢道来。

我睁开朦胧的双眼问妈妈：“妈，您这么早就起来叫我，有什么事啊？”妈妈应道：“你看你这个房间，比猪窝还乱，作业本也不收拾一下就睡觉了，你还想当‘乱室奸雄’啊？”我被妈妈说的话逗乐了，转过身来，我又一脸严肃地说：“是，保证顺利完成任务！”

说完，我便一本正经地整理房间。哎呀！看来妈妈说的没错——我的房间的确比猪窝还乱，而我却不想当“乱室奸雄”啊！于是，我便先将书摞在一起，然后将一些没用的书放在一个大箱子里，将一些用完的本子当成废品卖掉。又把我的床理好，将被子叠好。又拿扫把、拖把将房间里里外外、上上下下都“扫荡”了一遍。

这时，妈妈来了，她开心的说：“房间真不错，儿子长大了……”我也明白了一个道理：自己的事情自己做，不要总依靠别人，那样只会一事无成。

星期六放学前，老师布置作业叫我们整理房间。放学后，我坐在公交车上，我还地想着怎么样整理房间，布置房间……到了家里，我马上放下书包跑到自己的房间。

天啊！这么乱，要整理到什么时候。我下楼找来了一块布，放在肩上，跟电视里的店小二一样。我又找来了扫帚和畚箕。我先扫地。我从里面扫到外面，从床底扫到床尾。然后，我把扫出来的脏东西全部扫到门口。扫了一大堆垃圾，我扫到了畚箕里。然后，我把垃圾倒入门口的垃圾桶里。又把扫帚和畚箕放到了原处。后来，我拿来小桶用布把其它的垃圾一点不留地抹到小桶里。现在应该整理房间了，我动手把储蓄罐放回原位，把书本叠成一排放到了自己的旧铅笔盒里，把另外的东西也都放回到原来的地方。

整理好了，时间已经到了晚上8点55分了。我立刻洗脚睡觉。
