洪山环保小分队由洪山区环保、园林部门、环保企业及中南民族大学、华中科技大学、武汉理工大学等高校联手成立，将进入社区，上门为居民提供花卉栽培、家庭装修环保、安全用水、抗雾霾、废弃物利用等多种生活咨询服务。

Why this? people often think that water will never be used up. there is plenty of water, such as rain, water from the rivers and wells. it seems as if water is always available around us and we never have to worry about water shortage.

in fact water is rather limited on the earth. with the rapid increase of population and fast development of industries, water is more needed than before. at the same time, a large amount of water has been polluted and wasted every day. some big cities in china are facing the problem of water shorage already. there, water supply is controlled and industry has been restrained.

what should we do about the water shorage? i think, first, the people should be made aware of the real situation about the water. everyone should consciously save on water and certain law should be made that no water will be polluted. we have to protect the existing water resources and develop new ones. in this way i believe that our cities will not be thirsty for water in the future.

Harmony with the environment is that we live in on Earth, who is a natural son, and not only to natural persons as the conqueror, as we all know, there is only one earth and the mountains on Earth, the animals. Plant human cells, if it damaged, destroyed nature organizations, to the eradication of mankind. Therefore, the environment must be linked with social ethics, character education and practice acts as an important elent of it. Everyone must fulfil its responsibilities and obligations to protect the environment.

人与环境是和谐相处的,我们生存在地球上,人是自然之子,而不能仅把人看作自然的征服者,大家都知道,人类只有一个地球,地球上的山山水水、动物。植物是人类的细胞,如果我们把它损坏了,破坏了大自然的组织,等于消灭人类。因此,环境要与社会公德联系起来,与实践行为作为人格教育的一项重要内容来抓。每个人都要履行保护环境的责任和义务。

Nowadays, more and more people realize it`s necessary and important to protect the environment. Also,there are some people who don`t pay attention to hygiene and they can`t stop littering the rubbish casually or spitting everywhere all the time.And in addition, there are a few factories often cutting down the trees, discharging chemicals and dirty water and so on.And it causes many problems like the Greenhouse Effect.If they do these day by day and our life will be harder and harder,so we have to stop them. To stop them we can put up commonweal advertisements and tell them the detriment of destroying the environment.So we can start from now to make a beautiful life.

众所周知，地球上的淡水资源是比较稀缺的，并且是非再生资源，按照目前的手段，只能依靠对污水的深度处理，来缓解生产生活用水的压力。实际上，许多时候，我们有意无意地浪费了许多的水资源。现在的地球，都是黄色，绿色大量减少，这是怎么了?原来这是因为人们大量的砍伐树木，这不仅让鸟儿没了家，还造成了崩塌，洪水等。没有了树，我们的地球就好像少了一根支撑的梁柱。这就是我们这些地球人不节约用水的下场。接下来就让我说一下在我生活中发生的不节约用水的现象吧!

一天，我和同学在踢毽子，累了，我就朝学校洗手间跑去。拧开水龙头，我将脏乎乎的手伸了过去，那清澈的水流在我的脏手上，我的手很快就干净了。我不禁来了兴趣，用手堵住了水龙头，水就像喷泉一样向外射起来，很快就流了满地，我这才心满意足地走了出去。

当我再踏进洗手间时，看见墙上贴了一张纸条，上面歪歪扭扭的写着“节约用水”。我毫不犹豫地将它撕了下来，又在水龙头前玩了个够。

可是很奇怪，当我再次看到美丽的“喷泉”时，那张节约用水的纸条又出现在我眼前。我像个小侦探似的躲在门后。一个小姑娘进来了，看起来她像个一年级的学生，她很吃力地把写有“节约用水”的纸条贴在墙上，然后洗完小手走了出去。我震撼了，一个低年级的小姑娘都知道为节约用水尽自己的力量，而我已经是三年级的学生了，头脑里还丝毫没有节水的意识。后来随着年龄的增长，我逐渐知道了有限的水资源是经不起浪费的，中国在世界上属于严重缺水国家，许多大城市已经限制用水，而我们甘肃的定西地区更是以干旱贫穷而闻名于世的地方。

我们张掖地处黑河流域，背靠祁连雪山，表面上看起来暂时不缺水，但是每年肆虐的沙尘暴，给人们生产生活带来的不便，又说明了什么呢?我们的生态环境需要水。我们只有从小树立节水意识，并向周围的人们宣传节约用水的重要性，从小做起，从我做起，才能真正为保护水资源，保护我们的生存环境做出一点努力，不然的话，我们的子孙后代吃什么喝什么呢?

节约用水不是一句空话，而是要从每件具体的小事做起，养成良好的用水习惯。只要人人都节约用水，建设节水型社会的目标一定会实现。

The quality of human life has improved greatly over the past few centuries, but Earth is being harmed more and more by human activity. As we develop our technology, we demand more from our planet. Eventually, this will harm people as well.

Our planet gives us everything we need, but natural resources are not endless. Strip mining devastates whole regions, leaving bare and useless ground. Deforestation removes old growth trees that cant be replaced. Too much fishing may harm fish populations to the point where they cant recover. We are too careless in taking what we want without giving anything back.

There are more people than ever, living longer that ever. So is it any surprise that many areas suffer from too much development? Anyone living in or near a city has experienced "urban sprawl". There is a new shopping area on every corner and new houses, townhouses and apartments everywhere. Traffic gets worse and worse because planners cant keep up with growth. Keeping up with human demand is hard enough. Environmental concerns come in last.

With growth comes pollution. Companies and communities dump waste into water. Landfills are full of trash. Emissions from factories pollute the air. Barrels of industrial waste and worse, radioactive waste, have no safe place to go. If were not careful, we can harm our planet beyond repair.

People need to respect the Earth and try to preserve it. If we dont, what kind of future will we have?

now, the degree of urbanization has been deepening and we enjoy the convenience brought by urbanization. how does everybody know how the cities began? long time ago, the world had only a few thousand people. these people moved from place to place, hunting animals for food. no one knows how or when these people learned about growing food. but when they did, their lives changed greatly. one thing is certain that they gathered in the rich place or near water. in that age, water and climate are the most important to lives. it is the rich water and comfortable climate that gathered people from different places. they began to live near one another, so that the first village grew. many people came to work in the villages. then the villages became bigger and bigger.when machines were invented, life in the villages changed again. factories were built. there were a growing number of people living near factories. because of the increasing people, more and more buildings were built. and then cities were built.

Create a green campus

With the development of scientific conductions, our daily life is becoming more and more convenient. But everything has both its good and bad sides, pollution has become a hot topic while the science’s building up. So the word “green” has been paid great attention among us .So do our campus.

Creating a green campus is very important to build up a wonderful atmosphere. ”Green campus ” does not only means green environment, but also means positive study atmosphere, good personal qualities and refer to that the students should be educated and have an environmental sense in their mind. What’s more, what I want to stress is that it sets goals toward the future of the world.

To bring “green campus” to its full play, effective measures should be taken. First, learning is the most important thing, which can

strength our personal qualities. Second, we should take care our daily actions about manners and pick up waste papers here and there as we can do. Third , when you make mistakes or someone help you, you should say “sorry” or “thank you” to people with your sweet smile…

Green campus make us live in a soft and warm environment. So we ought to do our best to build green campus.

As we all know, a better result of study can be brought by a better study environment. As a result, it is necessary for us to build the green campus. The green campus can not only provide a good environment for our study, but also be a part of build the harmonious society.

The green campus is not only the environmental being green, but also the sprite being green, which means we should do other things like helping each other or caring each other. Therefore, we should both beautify the campus environment and create a campus culture.

As students, we enjoy the campus time while we have responsibility to build our green campus. In spiritual term, we

should respect teachers, classmates and other people work for the school. In environmental term, we should have good habits to keep campus in a clean surrounding.
