+ 加入清单1972年6月5日～16日，联合国在瑞典首都斯德哥尔摩召开了人类环境会议。这是人类历史上第一次在全世界范围内研究保护人类环境的会议，标志着人类环境意识的觉醒[3] 。出席会议的国家有113个，共1300多名代表。除了政府代表团外，还有民间的科学家、学者参加。会议讨论了当代世界的环境问题，制定了对策和措施。会前，联合国人类环境会议秘书长莫里斯·夫·斯特朗委托58个国家的152位科学界和知识界的知名人士组成了一个大型委员会，由雷内·杜博斯博士任专家顾问小组的组长，为大会起草了一份非正式报告——《只有一个地球》。这次会议提出了响遍世界的环境保护口号：只有一个地球!会议经过12天的讨论交流后，形成并公布了著名的《联合国人类环境会议宣言》(Declaration of United Nations Conference on Human Environment)，简称《人类环境宣言》)和具有109条建议的保护全球环境的“行动计划”，呼吁各国政府和人民为维护和改善人类环境，造福全体人民，造福子孙后代共同努力。
