They tend to use obsolete equipment in which they are more likely to emit a great deal of wasted air. Third,across our society,the awareness of protecting the environment has not built up so that people havent formed a habit of using green product and saving energy as much as possible. If we dont take action to show respect to the environment, we will have to face an increasingly awful situation.

Therefore, effective measures should be taken and laws passed to conserve the environment. In my opinion, to protect the environment, the government must take even more concrete measures. First, people should be educated to recognize the importance of the problems, to use modern methods of birth control, to conserve our natural resources and recycle our products. Second, much more efforts should be made to put the policy of population into practice, because more people mean more pollution. Finally,laws concerning environmental protection should be put into effect and enforce strictly just as our government has been doing. 一是成立“全国六·五世界环境日绿色行动联盟”。拟联合百所高校，依托六·五世界环境日开展的系列活动，筹建高校青年学生参与统一行动的伙伴联盟，完善相关机构设置，建立稳定的体制机制，更加有效推动活动的长效开展。重点结合“百所高校”这一“品牌”平台，进一步落实和加强百所高校的参与度。

二是实施全国大学生“绿色梦想共创计划”。面向全国百所高校大学生举行“绿色梦想共创计划”，邀请全国大学生环保社团、环保领域优秀大学生志愿者参与生态公益项目的申报和评选。进一步调动青年学生环保组织、青年学生志愿者参与生态文明建设的积极性，激发青年学生在环境保护方面的实践创新。通过集体申报、专家评审等环节，对全国评选出的优秀生态公益项目进行资金资助，并支持项目落地。

三是开展“绿色扶贫青年行”2016大学生暑期绿色长征实践活动。在中国生态文明研究与促进会等单位的支持下，进一步落实中央扶贫工作会议精神，联合有关高校，组织青年大学生实地探求贫困地区绿色发展道路，宣传绿色发展理念。同时，深入贫困县、乡、村等基层实际进行考察和调研，探究当地经济发展与生态建设的关系，用调研成果为促进贫困地区精准脱贫提供借鉴和参考。

四是举办首届京津冀晋蒙青年环保公益创业大赛培训班。在全国保护母亲河行动领导小组办公室的支持下，首届京津冀晋蒙青年环保公益创业大赛在五省份顺利开展。为了给本次大赛的参与者提供更好的理论与实践指导，主办方在北京林业大学举办为期三天的集中培训班，选拔公益性、市场导向性和实践性突出的创业项目并孵化推广。

百所高校“六·五”世界环境日主题活动已成功举办三届。活动的社会影响力不断扩大，已成为全国高校青年学子弘扬生态文明理念，参与生态文明实践的重要平台，在推进生态文明建设方面发挥了积极作用。

本次活动由中国青少年生态环保志愿者之家、首都大学生环保志愿者协会、共青团北京林业大学委员会共同承办。

Serious Floods

The Yangzte River is the longest river in China. And its important and helpful to us Chinese. But these days the Yangtze River is bringing us serious floods.

Many villages were destroyed by floods. The floods made hundreds of millions of people lose their homes, relatives and friends. Many children cant go to school as usual .Now the foods have drawn the attention of the whole world. People from abroad have offered their help too. In China, millions of soldiers are busy fighting against the floods. They are working very hard. Many of them have lost their lives in their attempt to save the villagers.

Though we cant help them to fight against floods, we should help them to rebuild their homeland. We can present them our pocketmoney and clothes. I believe most of the people will return to their homeland in the near future.

严重的水灾

长江是中国最长的河流。它对我们中国人十分重要。但现在长江给我们带来了严重的水灾。

许多村庄被洪水冲毁于。洪水使成千上万的人失去了家园，亲戚和朋友。许多孩子不能与平常——样去学校了。现在洪水引起了全球的注意。国外的人也给予了援助。在中国，上百万的战士忙于与洪水搏斗。他们努力工作，许多人在救村民时献出了自己的生命。

尽管我们不能帮助他们抗洪，但我们可以帮他们重建家园。我们可以捐出零花钱和衣服。我相信在不久的将来大多数人会回到家乡。
