In fact, different careers and roles form diverse individual responsibilities, which result in individuals’voluntary behaviors.

On the other hand, there are not only specific individual responsibilities in diverse areas but also some fundamental values and accountabilities, which we all human beings cherish. From the moment one can speak or even is born, the society begins to instill the moral and ethical standards, which is so called humanity in every one‘s mind. The older one is, the deeper influence the humanity would be. When one is just a little child, he would go directly to what he like and claim it. Then when he is old enough, he would realize that it is incorrect and ashamed. And because of the awareness of what is right and wrong, one would probably never do any misdeed again. Actually, humanity is just the common individual responsibility shared by all of us.

There are still many problems of environmental protection in recent years. One of the most serious problems is the serious pollution of air, water and soil. the polluted air does great harm to people’s health. The polluted water causes diseases and death. To protect the environment, governments of many countries have done a lot. 虽然我们的力量是微弱的，但是“众人拾拆火焰高”。

人类已经给自己制造了太多的灾难，能源已经想人类提出了严重的挑战，各种重要的能源如石油、天然气、煤炭等将在一百年至一百五十年后枯竭，到那时用什么来发电呢？用什么来生存呢？多么的骇人听闻啊？救救地球！救救我们自己吧！节约资源，节约用电，从我做起！

5月6日上午，由长沙市红十字会主办、长沙县红十字会承办的第69个“5·8世界红十字日”宣传活动周启动仪式在长沙举行。今年“5·8世界红十字日”的主题是“人人受益 处处得助”。湖南省红十字会党组书记、常务副会长陈丹萍，长沙市副市长、市红十字会会长何寄华出席启动仪式并讲话。

启动仪式现场，长沙市红十字会和长沙县红十字会为长沙市红十字赈济救援志愿服务队、长沙市红十字医疗救援志愿服务队、长沙县红十字会志愿服务队医疗分队、长沙县红十字水上救援志愿服务队授旗，共同见证这些志愿者队伍正式列入红十字会。同时，长沙市红十字会还为新设立的“金辉博爱基金”“长沙市红十字友阿救助尘肺病患者公益项目”等公益项目和基金授牌。

陈丹萍认为，长沙市红十字会在紧急救援、应急救护、人道救助、无偿献血、造血干细胞捐献、遗体和人体器官捐献等方面取得了显著成绩，各项工作走在全省前列，一度荣获全国红十字会系统先进集体称号，充分发挥了党和政府在人道领域中的得力助手和联系服务群众的桥梁纽带作用。

何寄华希望，各级红十字会组织要以维护人的生命和健康为出发点，不断创新募捐和筹资机制，全面提升应急救援、人道救助水平，提高“救灾”“救助”“救护”的”三救“能力。

作为长沙市红十字会志愿者代表，“金辉博爱基金”负责人何玄表示，她首期捐赠50万元母基金，用于开展建筑工地工人救护培训和救助长沙地区困难群众，并将持续为长沙红十字事业提供更多帮助。

知道世界环境日吗?每年的6月5日----人类的世界环境日。在这一天里人们会召开环保大会，商量保护环境的措施。而与此同时，自然界的环保大会也在悄然进行着。

大家都早早地来到会场。突然，一股恶心的臭味传来，使大家都不由得捂住鼻子。

“什么东西呀?”

“这味儿真难闻。”

“是谁这么臭呀?”

“是我，我是水!”一个细小的声音回答。大家一看，啊，这是水吗?这是那清澈的水吗?出现在大家眼前的是一滩黑黑的发着恶臭的东西。

象伯伯关心地问：“是谁把你弄成这副模样的?”

“是呀!”小鹿也说，“你怎么变成这样了?”

水听了大家关切的询问，忍不住流出了眼泪。“我本是清澈透明的，可那人类却从不爱护我，他们把工厂的废水往我体内排，把垃圾往我身上倒，甚至把有毒的物质也往我身上扔，把我污染得面目全非，结果造成人类严重缺水，而我也重病缠身，连小动物沾了我也会生病，我……”

水的哭诉还没讲完， 只见一团乌黑的气体飘进了会场，没等大家发问，它却抢先开了口：“大伙儿都看见我现在的样子了吧?可又有谁能想到我曾经是多么洁净的空气呀!”

大家听了都非常惊讶。

空气咳嗽了两声，又接着说：“洁净的空气难道不是生命的必需品吗?但人类却把工厂烟囱里的废气、毒气全部排放在我身上。幸好有树木帮人类和万物净化空气，不然的话，大家吸入被污染的空气都会得病的。

“可惜我们也无能为力了。”一个声音从角落里传出来。

原来是站在旁边的一棵小树在说话，“因为我的同伴越来越少了。我们树木家族对人类有巨大的贡献，我们通过光合作用，吸入二氧化碳，呼出新鲜的氧气，而且我们的树根还能抓住水土，防止水土流失呢!可是人类不但不知道感恩，反而还大肆砍伐我们，使我们家族成员越来越少了，害得小鸟们也无家可归了。”

“我们早已是无家可归者了。”一只东北虎站出来说，“由于森林越来越少，加上人类的猎杀，现在我的家族成员屈指可数，全国野生东北虎只剩下不到20只了。”

最后，大家都沉默了。它们都在想：今天，人类污染环境、破坏大自然，使我们无家可归;明天，他们就会失去赖以生存的家园，同样也会无家可归！所以我们要保护，爱护我们赖以生存的家园。

绿色代表着活力，象征着生命力，这种“绿色”正是自然界、一个民族乃至个人所应具备的。

对于自然界中的绿色，很容易就让人想到森林、草原等一些绿色植被。可如今植被破坏严重，其导致的荒漠化、泥石流对人类的危害时有发生。正如最近发生在菲律宾的泥石流，顷刻间就活埋了几千人。这难道不能引起我们的重视，难道非要灾害降临到我们头上时，才开始反思?如今中国的状况就很令人担忧。尽管政府已做了大量工作，但破坏植被的行为仍在进行。此时让我想起了《大话西游》里的唐僧，当孙悟空把“月光宝盒”扔在一边，想跟观音姐姐决斗时，唐僧赶忙就叫孙悟空别乱扔它，以免砸到花花草草……你看，在那情况危急就要发生一场格斗时，唐僧仍不忘徒弟要保护好花草。这难道不能引起破坏植被者的反思吗?

个人也需要“绿色”，这种“绿色”就是代表一个人所应拥有的活力。拥有活力的人通常可以做到别人做不到的事。这种活力最终将引领他走向成功。正如110米跨栏的世界冠军刘翔，当他面对曾多次获得世界冠军的阿姆斯特朗时，没有因此而低沉，相反从他赛前那轻松的脸上看出，那时的刘翔充满了活力与斗志。当然，刘翔最终成功了……

个人需要“绿色”，国家也需要“绿色”，这“绿色”就是代表着一个国家的生命力。如果国家没有这种“绿色”，那将是可悲的。回顾中国近现代史，那便是中国缺乏这种“绿色”的历史，以至于受尽帝国主义的压迫和剥削。很长一段时间中国似乎都没有展现出自己所应拥有的“绿色”。于是中国便得到了“东亚病夫”这块招牌。可见这种“绿色”，对于一个国家的生存和发展是何等的重要。

自然界的光彩需要绿色来点缀，国家的生存与发展需要“绿色”来推动。个人的成功同样需要“绿色”以充实。

我们不应再上演破坏植被的一幕，而要为奥运提供一个亲近自然的绿色环境。

我们不应再有那“东亚病夫”的屈侮感，而要向世界呈现一个充满生命力的“绿色”中国。

让我们共同努力，让绿色融入生活。

人在自然中生长，绿是自然的颜色，绿是生命，是希望，是快乐，绿更是一种和谐。优美和谐的自然环境，必然会给我们带来身心的愉悦和无限的乐趣。“明月松间照，清泉石上流”，让我们感受清幽;“流连戏蝶时时舞，自在娇莺恰恰啼”，让我们享受田园;“采菊东篱下，悠然见南山”，让我们亲近自然;“西湖烟雨茫茫，百顷风潭，十里荷香”，让我们品味自然。几千年来，人们在不断地认识自然，改造自然，享受自然，和自然和谐相处。

然而，值得我们庆幸的是国人已从麻木、愚昧中清醒了过来，当时光进入二十一世纪，环保——这两个字屡屡出现，我们经常看到这样的字眼：保护环境，匹夫有责。我们只有一条长江，毁掉了不会再来，我们只有一个地球，失去了不会再有。我们应该明白，树立环保意识，就是树立生存意识。今天，环保行为意味着一个人的素质和教养，一种世界性和世纪性的时尚，所以，绿色奥运，成为北京举力奥运会的主要理念。这就需要我们以智慧去关注生存环境的变化，需要我们以良知去阻止破坏环境的现象，需要我们以热情去传播环保的理念。

我们渝北区是一座资源枯竭型城市，正在进行经济转型。这个当口，区领导高瞻远瞩，把环保放在了第一位，将全面打造一个绿色的渝北区。

作为一名少先队员，我们的责任是什么呢?我想，我们既然做不了惊天动地的环保大事，就应该从自身做起，从生活中的一点一滴做起，从现在开始， 在大街上看到有垃圾的时候，把它轻轻捡起，放进垃圾桶;看到有人在草地上玩耍，过去制止他，跟他说不要伤害可爱的花草;在写作业的时候，想到这一张张纸都是一棵棵大树制成的，要节约用纸;在洗手时，把水开小点，在洗澡时，把时间缩短些 …… 只要我们每一位都能够自觉的从身边的环保小事做起，蓝天、白云和绿草就会在校园安家，彩蝶和百灵鸟就会来白银落户。涓涓细流可以汇成滔滔江海，片片绿叶能够造就莽莽森林。只要我们每一位渝北区的人民都拿起手中的环保之笔，在我们所处的街头巷尾，为渝北这幅美丽的画卷添上自己的一抹绿色，就能使渝北掩映在绿色的海洋中。让我们一起行动起来，为渝北、也为自己留下一片碧水，让绿色的和谐之音永远流淌在世界的每个角落。

9月28日上午，青秀区仙葫开发区充分利用“9·26世界避孕日”这个节日的特殊性组织辖区卫计专干、计生协会会员、青年志愿者等，在辖区人流量比较大的彩虹莫村路口开展了一场青少年艾滋病防治“青春健康，安全避孕”的主题宣传服务活动。

活动现场人头攒动，宣传桌前吸引了不少居民群众围观，工作人员向居民发放预防艾滋病宣传册、避孕套等，传递安全避孕信息，宣传性与生殖健康知识，提供卫生计生政策咨询。

本次活动共发放各类卫计宣传品、宣传手册1000余份，避孕药具1200只。通过开展预防艾滋病传播的宣传教育，推广使用安全套，让居民群众提高预防艾滋病的意识，做到洁身自爱，同时，提高青少年的避孕意识及自我保健能力，为青少年的健康成长保驾护航。

Serious Floods

The Yangzte River is the longest river in China. And its important and helpful to us Chinese. But these days the Yangtze River is bringing us serious floods.

Many villages were destroyed by floods. The floods made hundreds of millions of people lose their homes, relatives and friends. Many children cant go to school as usual .Now the foods have drawn the attention of the whole world. People from abroad have offered their help too. In China, millions of soldiers are busy fighting against the floods. They are working very hard. Many of them have lost their lives in their attempt to save the villagers.

Though we cant help them to fight against floods, we should help them to rebuild their homeland. We can present them our pocketmoney and clothes. I believe most of the people will return to their homeland in the near future.

严重的水灾

长江是中国最长的河流。它对我们中国人十分重要。但现在长江给我们带来了严重的水灾。

许多村庄被洪水冲毁于。洪水使成千上万的人失去了家园，亲戚和朋友。许多孩子不能与平常——样去学校了。现在洪水引起了全球的注意。国外的人也给予了援助。在中国，上百万的战士忙于与洪水搏斗。他们努力工作，许多人在救村民时献出了自己的生命。

Everyone can do something for our environment.As a student, we should build the sense of frugality in our daily life in the school.I always turn off the lights in the classroom when I leave.Both sides of the paper can be used if it is possible.After school, I bear the consciousness of environment protection in mind.In order to protect the forest I often refuse to use the paper cups and disposable chopsticks consciously.I believe that individual contribution to the environment will build a more beautiful world.
